I decided I may come out to my mother sometime in the next four days.

My botheer and dad will be out of town for that time and I thnk my mother will be the most accepting of me being gender-neutral/masculine instead of a girl like she thought.

It's gonna be hard though, I have to tell her my name which I've using since april if not earlier (and middle names which will also be so much fun). I'm scared she'll find it hard to change and won't even try

Look into gender expression vs. gender identity.
I'm the same way, to a point.
Although, you could also use terms like nonbinary, genderfluid, genderqueer, agender… The list goes on.

Shoutout to my cousin, who actually knew a little bit about what asexual was when I came out to her. She asked a bunch of questions bc she wasn't super sure about a lot of stuff, but they were all really respectful and I just,,, kudos to her for being awesome
