"Yeah, you can say that again." She rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Yeah, you can say that again." She rolled her eyes with a smile.
He smiled softly, leaning his head back against the wall behind them.
"Well, that was a very long answer for one question." She laughed. "Okay, next. Favorite food?"
“Umm..probably pizza honestly. Super basic but it’s true.” He said with a small chuckle.
"Can't blame you for that, pizza is awesome. I prefer tacos, personally. No wait, burritos. Even better."
“Ooh yeah burritos are pretty great. Jax knows this awesome Mexican place, but it’s like an hour away so we don’t go much.”
"Well then if you ever get the chance to go, make sure you call me, okay?"
“Oh yeah I’ll definitely let you know if we’re going, no worries. You’re basically part of the group now.”
"Part of this rag-tag group of weirdoes trying to keep each other alive."
“Yep. Isn’t that the best type of group?” He laughed softly. “But yeah that description is pretty much completely accurate.”
"Well let's hope it stays true or else that is going to be extremely depressing."
“Oh yeah that would be depressing. Unfortunately it seems like Jax has made it his life goal to get in as many life or death situations as possible.”
"And that's why we're here. To keep him from getting himself or anyone else killed."
“Yep. Speak of the devil…” he quickly scanned the room, trying to catch sight of Jax. “Aaaand found him. He’s still fine. Seems in no rush to murder anyone too so that’s good.”
"Good to know. But I still want to know about you. You're not one for talking about yourself, are you?"
“I guess I’m not.” He shrugged. “Keep asking me questions then, I’m shit at talking about myself without them.”
"How about family? Got any?"
“Unfortunately. They’re stereotypical rich people. Needless to say, Jax isn’t even allowed to step foot in my house.” He sighed, rolling his eyes.
"Well that sucks. We just love that, don't we?"
“Yep. I don’t like them that much, but besides that they’re not terrible parents so I just deal with it.”
"Can I have them then? Because I will take them over my drunkard mother in a heartbeat." She smiled a little. "What about siblings? Got any of them?"
“Nope. Only child. Which is also why they’re so hard on me and force me to do so many things.” He rolled his eyes.
"Ouch. I wish I was an only child. Trust me, no siblings is certainly better than three. Well, two. Two living ones, at least."
She definitely caught his attention with that one. “Do you want to talk about it?” He asked, his tone softening a bit.
She rubbed the back of her neck with an awkward smile. "I'd rather not, if that's okay. It's a kind of touchy subject that I'd rather not remember for the time being."
