"Okay!" (Time cut to 8 pm)
"Okay!" (Time cut to 8 pm)
The party was just starting, and nothing about it looked suspicious. In fact, it looked inviting.
A crow and a dove were perched on a tree near the house, looking into a window. The stars above shone brightly, as if to wish them good luck.
”Did you see anything?” the crow rasped.
”I don’t think so,” the dove answered. ”And everything looks fine inside.”
”Remember to stick together.” the crow shivered in her dark feathers.
They flew down to the ground. In a flash, the two birds became human girls. They walked up to the door of the house, and rang the doorbell.
Allison opened the door.
"Oh hello, Crow and Dove! Come in, come in!" Allison said.
“Hi Allison,” Crow said. She held Dove’s hand as they walked inside. If this was a trap, then at least they’d be together.
"Azrael, come in here! Crow and Dove are here!"
Azrael came over. She was a 23 looking year old, busty goth chick wearing all balck clothes.
"Hey kid!"
“Hi,” they said at the same time. Ok, no one had attacked them yet. So far, so good. And despite the possible danger, Azrael looked like a pretty cool person.
"Want some Potato Root Beer? Its the non-achoholic version of Potato Beer, unless you want that?" Azrael asked.
"Come inside, sit on the couch, and watch demons duke it out to get redemption, in the newest show, Deathly Redemption!" Allison said.
“We’ll have the root beer,” said Crow. Ok, she thought. They’re definitely not witch hunters.
“Deathly Redemption? Never heard of that one,” said Dove. She absentmindedly scratched her snow-white head. “You a fan, Allison?”
"Fuck yeah I am!" Allison said.
"There are children here!" Grimm, Azrael's brother, said.
“You’re Grimm, right? You look like Azrael,” Crow said.
"I'm her brother," Grimm said.
"Damien just got killed," Azrael said as she brought then two Potato Root Beers.
"Dammit!"
“Oh, I have a brother myself,” said Crow, her mistrust crumbling away. “He’s busy with college though, so I don’t really see him much.”
Dove stood silently by, sipping the root beer and trying to see what was going on in the show.
"Basically, these demons are fighting to the death to "reascend" into angels. This is our version of the super bowl," Grimm explained.
Crow jerked her head. “What?” She moved closer to see. These people are stranger than I thought!
Dove gave Grimm a look. “So… they aren’t acting?”
"Nope! It makes it more fun!"
(Can you draw something for me?)
(Sure!)
(I want you to draw this scene where everyone is watching Deathly Redemption , but its formatted like Allison's taking a picture of it on instagram, but without the captions and everything.)
(Also, everyone's facing the camera in the shot)
(I like it! Just don’t expect me to get it done in 20 minutes, hehe)
(Alright, continue with the story)
“And they fight to the death?” Crow wondered how this even became a show.
“And they’re demons?” Dove wondered if these guys were pulling her leg.
"Yep, its really fun! Of course they get reincarnated, but that process takes a long time. You want to keep an eye out for Mark," Azrael says as she flopped onto the couch. Mark Girther, the demon on tv currently, appeared.
"He's a war demon," Grimm said.
Crow silently rolled her eyes. Yep, it’s fun watch demons fight to the death! she had to admit, it wasn’t really her style.
“A war demon,” Dove echoed. How are we watching this right now? she thought. “Is this being filmed… in hell?”
She could take stuff like this pretty well, and she curious about how the show was produced, despite it also not being to her liking.
"Yeah, where else do you think there's demons?" Allison asked
"Mark! Mark! Mark!" You could hear the other people chanting.
They sat in silence for a few moments, sipping their root beer as a feeling of being glued to the screen despite not being interested took over them. Like most sports games have a habit of doing. Then Crow decided to get to the point.
“So… you all can do magic?”
(Do you mind if Allison isn’t in the pic?)
(Sure, also my parents took my phone, which is how i normally use notebook.)
