( Should we just do one final push from both sides and have.. Who should win xDD )
( I know we agreed with "go with the flow" but tbh seems like they're both gonna lose lmao )
~
Just.. A bit more..
He was pushing it. Eirlys didn't use his powers to its full potential when friendly sparring because he thought it'd be more fair to his comrades. But Nikolas was truly something else. What a monster. He thought, wondering how in the world Nikolas managed to hit this hard in a weakened state. At a missed hit, Eirlys faltered, staggering back. A particularly harsh stroke had made his vision blur, and he lost his grip on his powers. It was just a second- but that was enough for him to fall onto his knees, gasping for breath.
(I think Eirlys should win, just because it'll piss Nikolas off lmao)
~
Nik gave a grim smile, pushing forward to try and get Eirlys down again, trying to get him defeated before his knee gave out. But when he took a step, his knee buckled beneath him, and he was down on one knee, grimacing and trying to stand again. But he had pushed too far and it refused to move, refused to hold any more weight. He swallowed hard.
( lol, I can't exactly disagree because I want to see it too xDD )
( Errol must be looking at them and facepalming www "These idiots have been going on for so long, I have to train too :77 )
( Looking at how this fight went, I think it'd be safe to assume that Nikolas is stronger than Eirlys if Eirlys weren't using his powers :'0 )
( Mm, I thought a bit about what would happen after this. So, maybe instead of an official handshake, Eirlys can help Nikolas up with that hand? I thought it'd flow smoother like that lol. After that, um.. Maybe the kings can come out to check up on the ruckus cause apparently the soldiers that had come out on the field got to see this fight- just so that we could have some inner conflict later- for example, Eirlys getting pulled aside by his father later and disciplined because he was weak and needed more training shown apparent by this spar lolol )

"Well, this is awkward." Eirlys commented, stabbing the sword into the ground and pulling himself up using its weight. It took a moment to stabilize, though the pounding in his head remained consistent. It'd disappear after he let go of his powers, but that'd have to wait. He calmly stepped up to Nikolas, and laid the blade on his shoulder.
"You lost."
(XD)
(nah Errol's a medic)
(Yeah definitely)
(sure, sounds good!)
~
Nikolas growled at that, glaring up at Eirlys. "Next time, darling." he replied in a teasing but tired voice. He tossed his wooden sword aside, trying to get his leg under him to go and get his cane again. Fuck. I pushed this way too hard. He thought, gritting his teeth as sparking jolts of pain shot up his leg, up his body.
