(No you don’t I just didn’t know if I set it up enough lol)

Sire nodded, though his eyes and mind were elsewhere.
“His name is Aryan,” he said, not answering her first question but beginning to walk, gesturing for her to follow.
“He thinks that he can beat me just solely because of his abilities,” he continued. “His plan is to wait until I hurt myself enough, and then he’ll start fighting.”
Sire shook his head, walking through the open arena doors and glancing back to see if CC followed. After inside, he took a seat on the ground, his back pressed against the wall. Students were spaced out across the rim of the arena, as two took their places in the middle. Mr. Mura, the teacher, stood between them, setting the rules for the game.
The matches usually started with the lower brackets and built up. This, Sire was thankful for. It gave him time to think. Something he desperately needed to do.

An opponent like Aryan wouldn’t be difficult. He would just have to get in closer. However, attacking from behind wasn’t an option. But… how much damage would it do for a blade to his his shield? Would I matter? Or was it like Sire’s blade situation, where it didn’t hurt if the extension broke? No, no, there had to be a way to get passed the shields. Going for the legs first with a fake-out perhaps. He shook his head solemnly to himself, realizing he had been spacing out completely.

She sat down right beside him, a bit focused too much on fixing her outfit. She was a bit nervous fighting in this since she wasnt allowed to change. She would just have to be careful, he leggings only with up to her mid thigh. Her sweatshirt was a bit baggy too, but that only made her look smaller than she was. Though she was already pretty small.
Looking over to Sire spacing out over who knows what, she leaned forward, her hair touching the ground before she could pick it up she smiled at him. “Oh you’ll do great.” She says confidently.
She was a totally different story. She sucked at strategizing and fighting. She was good at close combat, but using her powers was a completely other thing.
Then an idea popped into her head. Not a very good one, but an idea.
Maybe some sort of wall as a distraction to move closer to her enemy and she could easily take them down with using her small body to her advantage and her skills she used with her brother.
But she assumed anyone would be smarter than that to fall for that. But it was worth a try.
She turned, trying to distract herself from her wondering thoughts, she grew a four leafed clover, every small petal the shape of a perfect little heart and handed it to Sire. “For good luck” she held a thumbs up to him, not wanting him to be nervous. Though she couldn’t read his thoughts, so there was no way to really tell if he was nervous or not. But just in case.

(Sorry its shorter than i usually do. I’m supposed to be doing school work right now XD)

@PaperHats business

(Aa same here XD)

Sire kept the same expression, but looked a slight bit more surprised. He took the clover from her hands, then suddenly remembered the flower in his hair.
Shoot, he had forgotten about it. His hand flew to the side of his head, where it still sat strong. He let out a sigh and took it off, setting it gingerly on the ground beside him, along with the clover.
“Thank you,” he said, though his voice was a bit distant. His eyes were trained one the people in the stadium, already beginning to spar. The first matches were over in a matter of minutes, due to either forfeits or mistakes.
Sire didn’t look down on the lower classes. In fact, he liked their persistence. They were careful and calculating, finding any way they could to utilize their situation. Sire respected it. Although some may not be born with “great” powers, they practiced to make the most of them.
Soon, the fighting in the middle class started. From what Sire knew, Seo Hyeon was in that estate.
“Good luck to you, too,” he said, his voice much softer now. He realized he had been mumbling to himself the past couple minutes about his strategies and grit his teeth slightly.
“I don’t have a clover to give,” he mumbled. “But you’ll do great.”
His voice was low, and if it wasn’t coming from him, it would have seemed untruthful. But that was just Sire. He wasn’t the best at compliments or building other people up. Though he tried his best.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

She looked away nervously when she heard his distant words, a bit distracted she assumed. She came to the conclusion he enjoyed her company… hopefully.
Yeah, she was still deciding on this, but it was fine. She‘ll get there. Eventually.

“Oh, thats fine. I don't need a clover. Ive got a strategy!” She says excitedly with a smile, confident in herself. Though it was clear to see she wasn't doing to well believing in herself. (USE THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP)
“But thank you” she says as she stood, her name being called from the loud voice. “Seo…. Hon? Seo Hyeon Youn” the voice finally got it right, though you could hear him say “did i get it right this time?”
She only laughed, a laugh showing that she was definitely used to it. It didn't bother her anymore.
“ And Avery Casoe” he called out.
“Well, here goes nothin” she says with a nervous little smile.
Soon she bubbled on up to the center stood a much taller more scarier girl with pitch black hair, shaved on the side with piercings galore. She looked up to her with wide eyes making an OoO with her face as she did. She looked powerful enough to pummel the small girl to the ground. And Seo Hyeon, wasnt going to lie. She was a bit scared.
“You may begin” the voice boomed, and the girl held her stance. The white haired girl pulled her hair up in a ponytail quickly before whipping out a pretty lily. “I’m Seo Hyeon. Nice to meet you” she smiled sweetly as she held the flower out to the girl. She arched a brow and scoffed. “How pitiful” she says reaching to snatch the flower out of her hand with plans to smash it, crushing this useless girls peppiness. But as the girls skin came in contact with the flower she pulled up the sleeve of her sweater revealing her pale arm, green vines stretching out and engulfing her hand, turning to hard wood, she bent down, forcing the girls arm down with it to the ground as roots blinded her hand to the ground. Quickly the girls arm encased in wood turned to rock, quickly breaking the wood. “Oh, so this is why you were paired with me.” Seo Hyeon nodded, acting as if she didnt care. A more condescending tactic she used to get them to where she wanted. Though she had to play it smart with the boys, because if they got mad enough they were pretty scary and she would shut down.
But with the girls, she couldn’t care less. But she might get her hair pulled a bit in this.
She stepped to the side as well as Avery did. “Ah, you crushed your flower….” she says looking down at the ground but the girl didn't glance over. As she expected. Soon a wall of vines from behind the tall girl burst up from a tiny piece of wood that had cracked and splattered over there due to her rocky ability. It was a little disturbing to see her flesh morph into rock, but she tried to ignore that.
Any living plant or residue of life within the past 12 hours she could use as a weapon, growing things out of it as well as her arms. And thats what she did. It was a shame they would clean it all up and dump it out. It was quite pretty, the vibrant green braided with flowers and leaves raining down piling on the floor. It was a bit straining for her to do, but she was able to keep it. She hated making things that big, but it certainly got her attention. Any smart person would pay attention to that. So quickly as Avery looked behind her, she slipped to the other side and quickly slid down, hooking her ankles and making her fall to the ground. Using the girls height to her advantage, CC had better balance than taller people did. The girls skin hardened then that didnt do a think as she fell, it only reduced the pain of hitting the hard surface of the floor. A wooden stake grew from the girls hand as she forcefully held her there, her hand in between her shoulder blade knelt to the ground, her elbow pressed against the hard floor so if she were to move she would break her arm. Her hair fell out of her ponytail around her along with the flower petals falling from the receding vines.
With so much shock and not being able to fight much, Avery was down to the ground and if she moved she wold get seriously injured. Therefor declaring Seo Hyeon the winner of this small match.
Though quickly she stood, helping the girl stand. “Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry. Are you alright? Here, let me heal you. Did you get hurt? I know there were probably some thorns in those vines.” She reached out a hand to the girl only to get smacked away. “Make sure to pick up your flower” she says with a bit a remorse. Maybe she shouldn’t have tried that strategy and done what she always did. But she wanted to try her best today and show everyone that she could do cool things and that she wasn't a little wimp.
She wasn't a wimp right? She just didn't want to hurt anyone.

@PaperHats business

(Ahhh sorry. I’m smacked with homework XD also gore warning~ a bit)

Sire wasn’t normally one to watch the matches, but Seo Hyeon’s sudden change in character intrigued him.
He watched in awe as the girl utilized what she had. His facial expression stayed the exact same, but his heart beat faster and faster with each passing moment.
And with that battle, it wrapped up the last of the middle class. Sire took a deep breath, pushing himself from his position and walking up to the arena’s stadium. His eyes— no— his whole body was calm and collected. Even his heart. He knew Aryan wasn’t something he couldn’t handle. In fact, that fiery aura of his would be his demise. Or so Sire thought.
The burgundy-haired man stalked up to his position, practically marching. He took his stance, grinning, right in front of Sire.
The professor didn’t even call names, just walked over to help Avery and Seo Hyeon from the last fight.
Then, Sire did something he didn’t even expect. He turned his gaze to CC, giving the girl a smile. It was unusual and looked like he had forgotten how, but it held a certain sense like he was trying to say, “good job.” It disappeared as soon as it came, and his eyes were back, trained on the boy in front of him.
Suddenly, a whistle blew off to Sire’s side. Instantly, Aryan flexed his entire body, his shields growing even larger. He pounded them into the ground, covering his legs as well as his back, only leaving his head exposed. Aryan knew that Sire thought headshots were cheap, and refrained from using them. Though, Sire just stood there.
“Swords versus shields,” he mumbled softly. “Okay.”
In an instant, Sire shot over to the boy’s side. From the kicked up ground, Sire stomped his foot as hard as he could, upturning even more of the floor. All in one fluid motion, a blade shot through the bottom of his foot, curling up through the ground, under Aryan’s shield, and catching him off guard. Aryan staggered to the side, but kept the same demeanor, grinning like the maniac Sire thought he was.
Sire narrowed his eyes and ran full speed toward the other boy. Blood soaked through the hole in his shoe, but he didn’t care.
Aryan clasped his two shields together, covering his entire front half as Sire sped. However, his drive was different. Upon approach, Sire kicked off of the front of the shield, almost running up the side. Now above, he shot out duel blades from either hand, blood pouring down. They latched on to either shield, and Sire gave a forceful tug. They wrested from the earth, and Aryan was caught off balance, falling over. He rolled, regaining himself quickly but still off-guard. Wasting no time, Sire landed closely and bowed low, sweeping out a bladed leg. Aryan easily deflected it, launching himself forward and taking hold of Sire. The two fell ungracefully to the dusted floor, rolling slightly before Aryan stuck the sharper edges into the ground, coming out on top.
He lifted a fist, cocking it back before he suddenly stopped. His expression looked extremely pained, and he let out a cough, his own blood dripping slowly onto Sire’s chest. Sire, from beneath, had a blade sticking from his chest into the other boy’s, both of them bleeding profusely.
And with the professor’s hasty call, the match had ended.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

(Btw, i love gore, so go into as little or as much detail as you want <3)

Seo Hyeon tried to talk to Avery afterwards, but the girl ended up cussing her out and walking away. Appearently she was usually like this according to a random girl apologizing for her friend.
She turned to Sire with two thumbs up and watched as he approached his opponent.
They both looked incredibly strong and she was nervous for the match though sure Sire was going to win. But what she didnt expect was for Sire to turn around and smile at her.
As he smiled his cute little awkward smile her heart fluttered before absolutely melting, and her smile and eyes grew wider and brighter than anyone had ever seen them. Yep, she was sure he was going to win! Right?

She turned to her friend, only to remember she didnt actually have any other friends to smile and giggle with. Man, she needed some girlfriends. She couldn’t talk to a guy about all of her problems, vent to him and talk to him about boys. Though the only guy that was in her life was Sire himself.
That was her next mission she decided. Get a girlfriend…
But for now she stood at the edge with wide eyes, biting the tip of her thumb nail nervously, her light eyebrows furrowed together as she watched. This was next level fighting right here. She never watched them since she was always too focused on saying sorry to everyone yelling at her then hiding in the bathroom. This time was different. And this time she was proud of herself! She was sure she wouldnt be able to do that again.

Once she witnessed the two boys on top of eachother, bleeding all over her heart raced and pounded in her ears. We’re both of them okay? What happened? Who won? Why’d he stop?
She wanted to run up to him and try to heal him, but with not being allowed in the arena she didnt dare take a step, being the goodie two shoes she was.
“Oh golly gee… please be alright” she says to herself, waiting for her to be allowed to walk up to him.

@PaperHats business

The boys were still for just a moment, before Sire’s arm twitched slightly. He retracted the blade slowly, Aryan falling down with it. The stadium was silent as Sire pushed Aryan from his body, letting out a small huff. He positioned himself over the other boy, Aryan’s shields growing a bit smaller.
Sire looked to Mr. Mura for the next instructions, but the teacher was already ready with the stretcher. Sire, gravely injured, still insisted on helping Mura hoist the boy from the ground to the portable cot.
“So sorry, Mr. Mura,” Sire coughed, wincing a bit as he did. His shirt was stained and torn in numerous places, and much of the blood was his own.
“Don’t worry about it, kid,” the professor replied. “Aryan’ll be fine. Worry about yourself for now.”
The teacher’s eyes took their attention from Sire for a moment, scanning the silent arena. His eyes finally rested upon CC, who looked eager to help.
“Seo Hyeon,” he called, barking out the orders. “Mind accompanying Sire to the medical office? Aryan’s in critical condition, I gotta take him to the emergency room.”
He continued to give orders to other students, telling them to join other classes while Aryan was dealt with. Sire looked extremely guilty, standing there with all of his weight on one foot, the other still bleeding. He held the both of his forearms in front of him, the sanguine fluid spurting between his fingers. The same dark red splotch grew on his chest by the second, but looked much less lethal than Aryan’s. He watched sorrowfully was the boy was carried off by other assistants.
Always.
This always happened.
The thing was, Sire had no clue how to ever win matches without giving lethal blows. He saw openings and he took them. He had stuck blinders on at the beginning, and had no clue how to take them off.
He limped over, wincing each time his foot hit the ground. His body looked extremely painful, but he kept his face as calm as before.
He finally looked up at Seo Hyeon, seeing her shocked expression and giving the smallest nod. He had to resist every urge not to just fall into her arms. She seemed like she would be… refreshing. Happy. A nice escape from the pain he was in.
Instead, he stood as straight as he could, trying to be as strong as ever.

(This is gonna be decently short since I’m like half asleep and i need to go to bed, sorry)

Seo Hyeon looked up at him before rushing to his side, her hand already on his chest, slowly healing it as she spoke. “Hey, are you alright?” She helped him walk to the office. She went there a lot so she knew exactly where to go.
His blood on her hand was warm against his fast heartbeat, it would almost be comforting if they weren’t in the situation they were in at the moment. She liked being this close to him though. She was thankful that he wasn't too much taller than him. She would have fallen down a few times before they made it. Though she wasn't very strong, she was trying her best to help. About halfway down the hall, they turned the corner to the medical office. Once they were in, it smelled of hand sanitizer and a bit of what a doctors office smelled like. Which she had been to a ton of those when she was little. Whenever she came in she would get nostalgic.
“Okay um” her face turned red as she thought about what would need to happen. Shes stopped the immense bleeding in his chest, but she couldn’t do almost anything through that shirt of his.
Should she ask him to take it off? No, thats scandalous! But she did need to help him.
She forced herself to grow some confidence and ask him. “I’m sorry about this but… could you slip your… uh..shirt off? I mean” she blushed looking away. “You’re pretty exhausted though so its fine if you cant. But i don't think you would want it cut down the middle to open. But i need to stop the blood” she mumbled to herself not really talking directly to him anymore.
“Uh, do whatever you would like. If you don't feel comfortable with that i can always TRY to heal through the shirt. But there’s about a 27 percent chance that it’ll work” she says trying to distract herself by rummaging through the cabinets for cotton and rubbing alcohol.

@PaperHats business

(Totally fine lol— I should be sleeping too XD)

Sire mumbled something vaguely inaudible, stumbling onto the hard cot the nurse kept there for patients. For all Sire knew, that’s where the nurse was now— with Aryan. That left Sire and Seo Hyeon with the office to themselves.
There was no position Sire could sit in that didn’t hurt him, but he tried his best. His face was still calm, as he gingerly took his shirt off. He wasn’t a cut guy. In fact he was decently skinny, however since he continued to brace himself through the pain, his muscles looked more defined than they normally were. Which wasn’t much, but at least the slightest bit visible.
The wrap on his arm had been completely destroyed, the white of it blotched with crimson and dirt. He took it off gently, however the cut across his hand caused a bit of trouble. He managed to do it, discarding of the bandage beside him. He may need new ones, but honestly right now what he was concerned about was stopping the bleeding.
Sire kept oddly calm and clueless in these kinds of situations. He looked up at CC, his eyes much kinder than they had been before. Before she turned around, his eyes flitted back down, and he began to take off his shoe, also rolling up his pant leg. He cursed himself internally for generating this many blades without some kind of assistant. And he had gone past his limit— which absolutely sucked. It just tore the skin more. He was starting to realize why he actually went to this school. His power had a lot of downfalls.
“S-sorry,” he said quietly through a cough. “That y-you have to do this.”

(this one’s a lil short too, sorry)

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

(I'll post one, possibly two more times before I go to bed XD)

The girl turned around to his soft voice, her small arms filled with supplies which she instantly dropped at the sight of the shirtless boy laying down in front of her. Pale face turned visibly red as she averted her eyes. It was obvious to anyone who looked at her that she was beyond flustered and it was obvious as she why. She quickly knelt to the ground "oh golly gee goodness" she says to herself as she picked up everything. Setting them on the table beside the bed then looking back to his face. How was she supposed to do this if she couldn't even look at him.
It was fine, all she had to do was place her hand on the wound after disinfecting it. Oh, she had to touch his bare chest!?
"chill. You're being too dramatic" she mentally scolded herself.

"it… It's fine" she got out the rubbing alcohol. "I'm glad I can help any way I can really. And I'm glad I can help you" she smiled as she soaked a cotton ball and wiping away the access blood around his wound. It wasn't going to hurt until later.
As she dabbed the blood around the wound, throwing one cotton ball away in the trash after another, it was a slow process but one she found most effective than a rag.
Her eyes strayed from his chest to his abs. They were more refined than she had though. Having to refrain herself with all the self control she had not to feel them, she went to his arms, wiping off any access blood.

@PaperHats business

Sire winced any time she touched him, but tried to contain himself as best he could. He could barely even clench onto the side of the bed with his hands… due to the deep cuts within the palms. So he simply grit his teeth, cursing internally.
“T-Then thank you,” he said, his voice shaky. He tried his best to keep it as steady as he could, but it was difficult. He couldn’t pay attention. Couldn’t keep his eyes locked on anything. Not even CC. His breathing was uneven, too. The only thing he could think about was Aryan. He hadn’t wanted to hurt the other boy that bad. That was just the only way he had seen himself winning.
Not… not even that. It had just happened. Sire questioned if he had even done it himself, or if his powers had made his decisions.
He shook his head, trying in his best effort to rid himself of the thoughts.
“Is there a-anything I can do to help y-you?” he asked, sitting up sightly. He hated the feeling of helplessness. Even more so than anything else. He didn’t like when people helped him, nor when he couldn’t help them back.
He cocked his head up at Seo Hyeon, his eyes not necessarily focusing on her own, but at least in the general area.

He tried to lift his hand, but it didn’t work. He tried to keep his eyes open, to no avail. His body completely shut down, resulting in him laying slowly back down and his world overturning in black. Maybe it was the blood loss, or exhaustion, or most likely a combination of them both. He was tired. Sleep didn’t seem like a bad idea.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

She smiled gently at him as she stopped dabbing the blood away. "no problem. It's fine really" she turned back to the stand with all of the supplies, those soft hospital paper towels she dabbed onto his wound wincing herself at the pain he might feel to this. But soon she was done and the wound was disinfected. Usually she could simply heal it like a cut, but the fact that her powers weren't that great and all, she didn't know how to use them to her full extent. So any wound like this or bigger she had to go through this long procedure before healing it.
"Dont move though. It'll strain your body even more than you already have. But hey, you did good out there. You were really cool" she smiled, trying to make light of the situation. Not sure if she was doing it correctly.
After a few seconds she realized he was dozing off. "Sire. Don't fall asleep okay? It's dangerous." she says, slowly focusing her powers at her finger tips so it didn't spread for the maximum healing. It didn't do much since her powers weren't developed much, as anyone could see whenever she fought even tidal. But it helped.
"did you hit your head? I don't think I saw you hit your head, but I just want to make sure" even if he didn't, she wasn't about to take any chances. She tried to make conversation to keep him awake but she didn't know if that would work for him. He's lost a decent amount of blood. But definitely not a dangerous to his life amount. He would have had to been in a pool of blood for that to happen.
While she talked to him, ticking her tongue every few seconds to keep him awake. She did it with her mother whenever she would take care of her, so it had become a habit of hers. And it actually helped. Rhythm helped basically reset the brain and calm it, so slower patterns were the best for injured or anxious people. (I actually do it quite a bit lol) all of his other cuts weren't as bad as the ones in his chest so she sealed those up, though getting awfully sleepy herself with all of this healing following her battle. Making those vines like that had already taken a toll on her. Hopefully it didn't show. She could just lay in the bed and fall asleep forever.
She wasn't going to be absent keep on healing, so she was glad he was the only one she needed to heal.

@PaperHats business

Sire mumbled multiple times, as if he was trying to formulate sentences but perhaps it wasn’t working too well. He gave a small cough, but it felt much better than it had before. Seo Hyeon was a miracle worker.
“I didn’t hit my head,” he grumbled. “And most of my injuries are from… myself.”
He coughed out a laugh, his face twisting in pain a bit but keeping its composure.
“Sorry about this,” he mumbled softly, watching her work. By now, he felt much better. All of the wounds were practically closed, except for the one on his chest.
“You look tired,” he said, the silence of the room creeping within his words. “We can just wrap the rest. It’ll heal on its own.”
His eyes gazed, glazed over, to different parts of the room. He had been here too many times to count. All on his own account. All mostly by accident.
He hated that his power did this to him, but he loved what he could do. His blades were useful. And he could use them very well. The only terrible part was this— the repercussions.
He winced as he pushed himself to a sitting position, eyeing his torn shirt draped over a chair on the other side.
There goes another, he thought to himself. His eyes quickly gazed down to his hands. The deep scars on his palms looked painful, but they were numb by now. He may have to wrap those, too, even with CC’s help.
He looked up to the girl, giving a sort of an apologetic look. He looked almost as tired as her, but held himself higher. She needed rest, so he needed to be fine. For her sake, at least.

“You did very well,” he said, though his words were awkward and didn’t necessarily flow well. He wasn’t the best at giving praise. “I’ve never seen you fight like that. It was enjoyable to watch.”
Quickly, Sire adverted his eyes, looking off just slightly pessimistically.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

She tried her best to understand what he was saying beneath the mumbling, though simply laughing thinking it was kind of cute. Even though he said he didn’t hit his head, she made sure he didn't fall asleep. She still needed to check his pupil if they were alright too.
“No, its fine. Really. I’m glad i can help you” she smiled, grabbing his hand and looking at the cuts with a furrowed brow, biting her lip a little before placing her other hand on top of it. A slight tingling sensation went through her hands every time she healed someone. Whenever she healed herself the wound would always sting a little and the pulse more prominent in that spot as blood had to be pumped there more than anywhere else so it could clot up and scab over.
When he said she looked tired she only smiled, “man, do i look that bad?” She asked half jokingly. She was rather tired, but she didn't really want to be told she looked it.
“Its fine. Ill heal as much as possibly. Though once I’m done with the others you will need to sit up so i can wrap your chest” she blushed and paused for a second. “If thats alright of course”.
It was basically her job and she did need to wrap him whether he wanted it or not. It was for safety and health. But she definitely didn't want to invade her new friends space bubble. Though with all of this healing she was doing with him, she didn't think there was a space bubble that hadn’t popped already.
“Ill have to wrap your hands a little after wards though” she says calmly as she grabbed his other hand with all of the care and gentleness she had in her, trying her best not to strain his muscles, holding it and talking to him while it healed.
“Oh… thank you” she replied to his compliment. “I don't usually. I just thought of it today. I’m kind of proud of myself actually” she says distracting herself from his last comment. Her eyes followed his though going back down to his wounds she worked on healing and wrapping up when she realized he probably didn't want to look at her at the moment. She had her own little cuts that she hadn’t yet healed. A few rocks and shards of wood flew at her, but she wasn't worried about that.
Hopefully that girl was alright. Though Avery was most likely still mad about her beating her.
Seo Hyeon would be quite embarrassed to be beaten by one of the worst of the middle class. So she knew where she was coming from. Though she wouldn't be as mean about it.
She kept quite once she finished wrapping one hand, moving onto the other one. This was the only way she, or anyone found her useful. It would be better if she just didn't talk and focused on healing. The only thing she was kind of good at…

@PaperHats business

Sire just nodded along to her words, struggling to keep his eyes open. Her hands were cold, yet still held that comforting feeling as they held either of his. It was nice, in a way.
Though, he’d never voice that opinon.
From where he was sitting, there was a window directly in front, showing the outer part of campus. The green trees swayed, flowers blooming from them. Winter had slowly drifted into spring, today being considered the first “official” spring day. He gave a small smirk. He liked spring. About the only thing that made sense at the moment for him, with the lack of blood traveling to his head. So he focused on that. It was peaceful to watch each branch sway, with that sort of melodic rhythm. Petals drifted in the wind, sometimes faintly hitting the window. The pinks and reds swirled with the emerald green and blue of the sky, mixed with the cotton clouds. He had always loved the sky.
“You should be proud,” Sire mumbled quietly, after a few moments of silence. With much effort, he sat up higher, so wrapping his chest was possible.
“And, sure,” he continued. “I can wrap it, if you don’t want to.”
Sire kept the casual tone, not implying any sort of connection. He figured it would be for the best. Seeing as how she had been acting with the reveal of his torso and the healing fiasco, he decided to keep the tension at a low.
Nothing against Seo Hyeon, of course. If he had the energy, he would definitely be more flustered. However, his entire body just felt… heavy. Heavy and very hard to move, not to mention sore and painful. Though, it was more numb now, thankfully.

“You should look into Limitless,” he said suddenly, breaking the silence and his thoughts as well at the mention of the special class. Seeing her fight like that made him think she was cut out for it. “If you know what that is. The training class that takes trips? We’re leaving in a couple days. You should join us.”
He kept his eyes on the window, propping himself up on his arms, his hands still sore but healed enough. He tried to move in a way that would make it easy to wrap his torso, though the movement just caused him to wince.

(Sorry these are a bit short )

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

(They’re definitely not short. Honestly, a single paragraph is even fine. So dont feel like you have to write a bunch.)

“Oh, no its totally fine. You shouldn’t be straining yourself. Ill do it” she says trying her best to be professional. She always felt cool and professional whenever she healed someone.
Absolutely loving being able to be useful for once, helping people. Her mother always said she should become a doctor, but it all was so much work and studying. Seo Hyeon didnt think she could keep up with that mentally nor physically. Unlike most peoples powers, Like Sire’s for example who’s power was really unique and cool. Healers were quite common. The plants not usually coming with it. Hospitals were always filled with people who were the same with the same abilities. She never felt special when using her powers. But at least she could help. (I keep on wanting to call them quirks XD) (have you caught up on BHA?)

Smiling a little bit when he told her she should be proud, her eyes flowed from the window where she had also gotten distracted by to the dim colors of the nurses office around the two. Grabbing the wraps, wadded up like tape, she started on his chest, trying her best not to think about it as anything. Simply professional with no feelings… right? Her heart only pitter pattered harder in her chest as she wrapped his chest. Even though he wasn't ripped, she thought he was quite attractive underneath all of his clothes.

“Oh, i think I’ve heard of that. I don't know if my skills would go along with any going. I’m probably like a few tiers below you guys” she says with a shrug. Of course shes heard of it. “I would love to go though. I just don't think i would fit in quite right” taking a safety pin and pinning the pieces together and safely securing it so it couldn’t open and poke him and it was still tight. “All better” she says stepping back, putting her hands behind her back and shifting her weight from one side to the other with a smile.
“Ill look into it. I would also need to take care of my mom.” She mumbled, kind of talking to herself.

(I’ve had to go back and edit some because I’ve accidentally typed quirks lol. And no, I’m not fully caught up, but I’m in the middle of s4. I haven’t had a bunch of time to watch it but I’ve been listening to all the intros/outros non-stop)

Sire uncomfortably twisted himself as to make it easiest as possible for her to patch him up. After she finished, he took a deep breath, feeling the bandage tight around his ribs. It wasn’t tight to the point of being uncomfortable— it was more like a permanent hug. Which, Sire convinced himself he didn’t like, but it was comforting, to say the least.
With his shirt off, even more scars could be seen. Though, they were a slight bit hard to distinguish, due to his paler skin around his chest and stomach, as well as back and sides. His natural mocha skin varied in color from place to place, almost like a gradient.

“You would fit in,” he confirmed, his eyes wandering from the window to her, watching as she rocked. “That’s the whole camp’s point. It helps you get better at combat.”
Sire paused, nodding his head back to the window and shifting in the cot.
“Not that you need it,” he continued. “You’re powerful. It’s just a matter of the utilization.”
Sire took a hand, brushing the hair from his eyes. It was dirt-covered and a bit matted. Honestly, his whole body was just as ragged. He looked up to the girl’s eyes, his own holding a slight glow, like before. He seemed content. Almost joyful, even.
“You’re smart,” he mumbled, matter-of-factly. He kept his hand off to the side of his head as he spoke, his hair still intertwined with his fingers. “I like that.”

(I feel that XD)

She felt bad, thinking about readjusting it, but once he put his arms down it was too late. It being tight was a good thing. Though she was more worried about his comfort.
Seo Hyeon could most definitely use some training, there was no arguing that. She wasnt even offended in the least bit. It was more obvious than her white hair. Okay, maybe not that obvious actually.
“I’ll try to get in. I would need to work a few things out with my mom. But i would love to” she says cleaning up, washing the blood from her hands, taking all of the supplies and putting them back in there rightful places, her footsteps so light you could barely hear them. She was naturally light on her feet, a habit since she was little she’s held onto for quite a while.
Ready to just say thank you at his small comment, saying she was smart, her face turned red at his last comment. He looked rather bashful as he said it which made him even cuter than usual. What? Not that she thought he was usually cute… not at all. (Oh she be lyin honey)

“O-oh.” Was all she could let escape her pink tinted lips, a small shine of her lip gloss making her lips look like a dolls in this certain lighting.
“Thank you. I’m glad someone thinks that” she let out a small laugh as she pushed back a few strands of hair behind her ear, the diamonds lining it looks like constellations. She never would actually show them off or anything, they were more for her. But it was always nice to show them every now and then.
“Sorry. I’m a little awkward” she says looking away. Every since they’ve met she’s been weirdly bubbly and awkward with everything. Not knowing what to do most of the time. With her facial expressions or body language, but also with what to say. Always concerned “what would he think?” Whenever she thought about saying something slightly risky. The fact that she held his hand. Man she just wanted to die at the moment. “I’m not really used to this whole new friend thing. If that makes sense..”

Sire couldn’t help but let out a small laugh. It was unusual— she seemed so confident in her actions. It was hard to believe she may have been having the same internal conflict as he. There was a kind of comfort in it, knowing they were the like.
His laugh left his face with that same diminutive awkward smile, slightly crooked.
“I’m not, either,” he admitted. “As you may have guessed.”
He shook his head, the smile fading but still a bit visible on his face. He adjusted the bands slightly, taking another deep breath only to feel the wrap stretch tight over his bare skin. The deep breath slowly turned into a yawn, and he closed his eyes for a brief moment.

As he opened them, they glanced back over to CC. His face held a sort of snarky expression. Well… about as snarky as Sire’s face could get. Which… wasn’t really much.
“Will you get rest, now?” he asked, his normally calm voice laced with the slightest tinge of humor. “You need it. You’ve done a lot today. Been through the rough latter of it.”
He fiddled with the sheets at the edge of the cot, leaning his weight from hand to hand. The soreness lingered, but he pushed past it. He was still in pain, but looked about as carefree as he could. All in order to convince Seo Hyeon to go rest herself.

“I’m fine. Really. There are only these beds to lay on anyway. Plenty of students are going to at least come in here and rest too. I wouldn’t want to take their spot” she shrugged, wondering if that made sense to him or not.
Knowing her and the way she talked, probably not.
“I can rest at home…or something” she paused, knowing full well she wasn’t going to be resting at home. Though she didn’t want him to worry.
“I’ll rest later” she lied.
Having homework, explaining to the teachers to do, and taking care of her mom, well she didn’t have time to rest. Plus having an actual job didn’t have any mercy.

(I’m so sorry it’s so short this time)

@PaperHats business

“I doub’t that,” he retorted, cradling his hands in his lap. He adjusted to where he sat upright with his legs crossed over one another, still facing the window but his eyes gazing up at the girl.
Sire’s yellow irises were dimmer than usual, almost looking like a sickly pale orange.
Suddenly, into Sire’s brain popped the rememberance of the small daisy and clover he had left on the floor of the arena. His expression didn’t chance, though his gaze grew distant.
Why would he care? He didn’t believe in luck. And a flower? In his hair? Stupid. Right? He didn’t care…

Sire shook himself from his thoughts, locking his tired eyes back on the window. It looked beautiful out there, but Sire knew he’d be cooped up in this office for a least another hour. Or until they let him go back to his dorm and sleep. Gosh, sleep sounded wonderful. Either that or coffee— Sire didn’t really care. For all he knew he’d end up doing both anyway.
If anything, he just needed to be healed up by Wednesday night. The Limitless group left early Thursday morning, and he couldn’t be injured for that. With how much he hurt himself now?… He couldn’t even think of a world in which he survived this training camp.

His hands grew slightly tense, showing a bit white around the knuckles. When he noticed he was clenching his fingers, he relaxed, closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath. Too far in his thoughts, he had to be drawn back out once in a while. Mostly on his own account.

(Do you think we should time skip a lil bit or something? Maybe to the limitless thingy. Maybe they’ve become more comfortable around each other then? XD)
(Sorry, i just don't have a bunch to write here and i don't want this to go slowly)

@PaperHats business

(It’s really your choice. I guess I could because Sire is the one going lol, and maybe Seo Hyeon just like met him out front if she actually decided to go(?) i dunno it’s your choice)

It was cold. But, Sire never minded the cold.
Still, he buried his face in the collar of his sweatshirt, breathing out and causing the breath to warm him. It could be seen in the brisk spring morning air, coiling up from students’ mouths as they stood in the courtyard in front of the gates.
Sire had been out of the school only one other time. And it was for the same reason— Limitless. He was terrified. Not of leaving the school. Of this class. Sure, he was fully healed. And sure, he was a powerful kid. Did that matter? No. It didn’t matter how healthy or powerful you are when you enter this camp, because you don’t leave in either of those conditions. It was rough and hard and they worked you to the ground.
Yet he still supported it, for some odd reason. Sire wanted to be strong. This class would help him get there. So that was enough convincing for him. Oddly enough.
Sire gripped the book tighter in his arm, his hands in his pockets. The gauntlets wrapped tight around his arms bunched up the sleeves to his sweater, revealing the metal plates housing small slits and wires. He let out a sigh, the warm air sending a shiver.
His eyes flitted up. There weren’t many students this time around. He didn’t blame them, though. He would leave, too, if he wasn’t so god awfully stubborn.
Aryan was here, thank the lord. He had recovered just fine, “forgiving” Sire completely. In reality, he had just said, “Good fight. I’ll get stronger and beat you some other time” and they had shaken hands. The interaction was good enough for Sire, although a teacher had most likely initiated it. Didn’t matter.

Sire closed his eyes. It was way too early to be outside, again. About 5:30 as he checked his phone. They would be leaving in 10 minutes, yet Seo Hyeon wasn’t here yet. Maybe she forgot? Or just didn’t want to come. Sire wouldn’t blame her, although he was slightly… sad about it. It would have been fun to have someone during the training. Doing it alone was what he always did… it would be a nice change.
Maybe he could talk to the Professor of the trip… would he let Seo Hyeon come along to just… heal people during the trip? She didn’t have to train, she could just help out? Like a T.A.
As he thought, he mumbled to himself slightly, his head resting in a hand that’s elbow was propped on his other arm.

Waking up earlier than usual to her alarm beeping by her nightstand and the cold morning air coming into her room through the window. Her white nightgown tangled in her bed sheets, she sat up and removed the covered before looking at her window. Realizing she's left it open the whole night!
Man, her day was not off to a good start was it?
Getting ready, she already had her suitcase by the door and a few small bags. A sweater and a skirt as usual, though each time a different one. She wore a shorter skirt than usual today, as she had packed all of her other ones in her suitcase without thinking about having to wear something the next day.

Getting in her car, she hauled her suitcase and bags in before hand, she pulled out of the drive way.
Sleepily driving to the meeting place, she had decided to go to limitless. She was scared about it though. She's heard so many horrible things about it, she didn't really want to go. But the fact that Sire wanted her to go made her want to. It would be fun with a friend! right?
Having an Actual friend was nice for a change. Hanging out with Sire and all, he was sweet. Too sweet for his own good.
Her heart would skip a beat every time she saw him with a huge smile on her face as she would stand on her tippy toes and waved at him from across the hall.
It was actually really fun and and she was glad she stuck around him instead of saying away.

Soon her cute little yellow car pulled up to the foggy meeting sigh. With just a sweater, she would have to dig in her suitcase for one of the jackets she packed.
Stepping out of the car she just recently bought about a week ago, having just enough money, she searched for Sire.
Once she spotted the boy, she hurriedly walked over him, trying not to seem too excited. But the glimmer in her eyes and her bright smile when she saw him said It all.
She was to the side of him, so she didn't think he saw her. Tugging lightly at the bottom of his hoodie, she tilted her head to the side as her long hair went with it. Maybe she would cut it once she gets back from this Limitless thing.
"hiYa!" she says to him.
