She tried her best to not think anything of him sitting closer to her than to the window. Maybe he didn't like windows and he just took her offer to be polite? No, he definitely would have said something if he didn't want to sit by the window that badly. Right?
Even though they've been friends for a bit, she figured he would speak up…right?
Her face flushed red and her skin became a little warm as their arms rubbed up against each other.
The pitter pattering of her heart against her chest was loud in her ears as the bus started. Yeah… that was totally why she was getting flustered out of no where. She was just nervous…
“its perfectly fine to be this nervous for an intense training camp.” she told herself as she sat there, not daring to scoot away. She didn't want to. Liking the comfort of his touch a part of her wanted him to wrap his arms around her and she could just fall asleep right there.
“no, stop thinking about that… bad Seo Hyeon” her own mind scolded herself for thinking like how she did with her writing. Those type of things don't just happen randomly.
As the bus started up and pulled out, she moved her hand to where it brushed against his accidentally. Though she was fine with how it happened. And from there she kept her hand beside his, as if she didnt even notice.
Trying to block out her own feelings, her thoughts drowning in the heartbeat in her ears as she did, she took a deep breath and leaned her head on his shoulder, scooting her hand to his and holding it.
He glanced over at her hand set closer to his, debating holding it for about as long as it took her to act. He finally settled on not, instead staring back out the window and enjoying the music in his ear.
And suddenly, she had moved.
Sire almost choked on his breath as he felt the contact. His heart hammered in his chest, a quite large blade peeking out of his other hand, not the one Seo Hyeon was holding. His mind raced as his hand started to bleed slightly, but he retracted the blade as quickly as he could and put his hand under his leg.
Maybe she didn’t see, he thought. Maybe she won’t be concerned and move. But why do I care? She can move. That’d be fine. Right. Yes. I don’t care.
Despite his thoughts, his face grew hot and his cheeks flushed. His heart still beat too fast, but the music in his one ear helped him calm slightly. He realized he had been holding his breath, and finally let it out, feeling himself slow.
He had to hold in a shiver, not even knowing what it was from. It wasn’t cold. Just nerves, he guessed.
Just nerves, nothing else.
And just like that, Sire moved his hand, positioning it so his fingers intertwined with hers. He claimed it was against his own will. But his heart had made him do it nontheless.
Still, he didn’t say a word, just went back to looking out the window.
She did notice the blade shoot out of his hand and she almost jumped. Forcing herself not to react to it. Fighting the urge to freak out and offer to heal his hand. So instead, she took a deep quiet breath in and then out, closing her eyes and relaxing her cheek on his shoulder, squishing it in a cute doll like way.
She couldn’t help but worry about what he was thinking. Did he not want her to? Should she move? Did he not like people holding his hand? Or specifically her!? [insert dramatic GASP here]
She pushed her thighs together as she thought, a thing she did quite a bit actually.
Seo Hyeon did have to admit, his hand around hers felt really nice. Comforting. She loved it..
Instead of going with her instincts and pulling away, she stayed there looking down at their hands, hoping she wasnt freaking him out. She wasnt….was she?
Almost all the way relaxed, she had brought herself to close her eyes until Sire moved his hand. His fingers intertwining with hers warming them even more. Her eyes shot open as well at a few clovers and daisies quickly grew from the skin shown on her thighs between her skirt and her thigh high leggings. She sat up quickly to pull her skirt down, hiding the small flowers with her one free hand, squeezing his the smallest bit.
She looked back at him with her face visibly red before turning back to face the seat in front of her “s-sorry” she squeaked as her hair fell in her face when she looked down to her legs, the short skirt struggling to cover the flowers. Her heart pounded on her chest and in her ears.
Why did she overreact so much about this!? He simply intertwined his fingers within hers after she was worried half to death that she bothered him. She now struggled to hide her smile.
Sire let out a small nervous laugh— something he almost never did. He felt his heart flutter a slight bit, rising in his chest. He took a long sigh, clenching his free hand under his leg nervously. Something he usually did when he was uncomfortable. Tensing up, that is.
“I-it’s ok,” he mumbled softly. He glanced over, his crooked smile remaining on his face. He tried his hardest to calm himself, with little avail.
“I guess we’re alike, you and I,” he continued, adverting his gaze back outside. He slightly squeezed her hand, noting that the girl’s was unusually cold. It was fine for Sire, though. His blood normally ran pretty warm, him wearing heavy clothing most of the time as to cover the scars, even in summer.
“With the random bursts of power,” he explained further, his voice now holding a bit more variation. “Hopefully they can teach us how to fix it here.”
He nodded to the accompanying professor a couple seats up as he spoke.
Though he seemed calm about the situation— the whole knifing when nervous fiasco— he truly despised it. Especially when there was someone he would enjoy. Such as Seo Hyeon. The flutter she gave him when just looking in his direction resulted in paper cuts. The minor actions caused bigger blades. If anything ever happened… heck, it’d be enough to kill him.
He shook his head, still trying to convince himself he didn’t actually like her. It was just nice to have a friend. Friends hold hands. Friends do this. Right?
Listening to him talk, she looked over to the professor ahead before turning back to him with a sweet smile. It was nice to have someone who was this nice to her.
Who didn't laugh or make fun of her, someone who liked her for who she was. As friends of course….
they were just friends. She thought of him as a friend and he did too… right?
Oh, she was contradicting her own thoughts now.
“Um..yeah i guess so” she says tucking a few strands of snowy white hair behind her ear. Not really knowing what to say at the moment. What was she supposed to say!?
“Is-is your hand alright?” She finally decided to ask. “I noticed the blade. You’re bleeding right? I-can heal it if you'd like” she asks leaning forward, her white hair falling over her shoulder as she looked up at him with concern in her eyes.
Holding his other hand tight, she wanted to be able to help him but didn't want to invade his personal space. Yeah… she didn't want to invade his space even though she was holding hands with him and leaning on him while they sat right next to each other on the bus. She didn't put two and two together.
(Gotta love these two stubborn oblivious children XD)
Sire lifted his hand from beneath his leg. Blood was smeared across it, but that was to be expected, with how nervous he had gotten. He grit his teeth, not from the pain, but from the anticipation of what CC would say.
The deep crimson was clear against his skin, like the splatter of paint against a complimentary palette. It no doubt had stained the back of his pant leg, but he wasn’t too concerned about that. He was concerned about the girl’s reaction.
Sure, she had seen worse. Healed worse. With him, mainly.
The gauntlet had probably soaked up the most of the blood, which bothered him slightly. These things were a pain to clean, but of course, he wasn’t a stranger to it. He had to do it after every single sparring battle or training session.
He carefully removed it, again revealing his scarred-up arms. He held his hand out to Seo Hyeon, his amber eyes locking onto it instead of her.
“You don’t have to,” he informed. “But thank you.”
He seemed slightly distant, but only because all of his energy was being spent trying to calm himself down. Which was contradictory, sure, but he was trying. Though, his mind just kept bouncing back to the contact— the girl’s hand in his own.
Her eyebrows curved upwards in concern when she saw his hand. Hesitantly, she slipped her small hand from his and held his other one and directed her powers towards her palm to go through to his hand.
After about a whole minute she let go, revealing the faintest scar on his hand.
"oh its fine. Im glad I can help you" she smiled up at him. She was used to being small things like this too. During the beginning of the year she babysat two twin boys and a girl. Whenever they got hurt she would kiss their boo boos better and make a flower appear to cheer them up.
"all better" she says slipping her hand back into his, lacing their fingers together. "it's alright if I do this right?" she asked shyly
Sire watched as the cut dissipated, soon only revealing a small white slit. Gosh, she was helpful. And nice. Convenient. It was amazing to have her around. Not only because she healed him, though. It was her. Just— well, he didn’t necessarily know how to explain it. It just was what it was. And he enjoyed it.
“The healing, or—,” he was cut off when she held his hand again, then realized what she meant. His face grew noticeably red despite his best efforts as he glanced from her hand to her eyes.
“Y-yeah,” he said quietly, his words small. “Sure.”
You sound like an idiot, he thought to himself. Get a grip. You’re friends, that’s it.
His body grew tense again until his breathing calmed. He turned to look out the window, completely unsure if he wanted to stay here forever or couldn’t wait until the ride was over. There was a thin line between them, despite them being opposites. He felt like he needed to go sit down in a dark corner and rethink his life mottos.
He finally sighed, closing his eyes.
Sire wasn’t the kind of guy to run from the truth. He was the kind of guy to know deep down what he meant, but never show it for the life of him. He gave an internal nod.
Damnit, he thought, though it was more in an acceptance, as much as it could be. You win this time, stupid heart. You just better not get yourself broken, idiot.
And with that, he opened his eyes, both of them holding a certain new light. Denial would have to wait.
He sounded pretty lifeless this whole trip, well so far. She was afraid he didn't want to be here. She didn't blame him though. The only reason she went on this dreadful sounding trip was because of him.
Maybe he was just tired…
"oh okay" she says quietly, keeping a hold of his hand as she looked away. He was really adorable when his face turned red, there was no way she could possibly deny it.
Though her feelings on the other hand were a whole other story in itself. Or her oblivious towards her feelings. Of course she thinks like a hopeless romantic teenage girl. She's a writer. And the fact that she totally was a hopeless romantic teenage girl.
But Seo Hyeon would simply excuse what she was thinking for think. Of ideas for her writing.
Mustering up the courage to actually turn and face him, still red in the face she smiled kindly. "thanks. I could use the comfort. If that makes sense" she laughed a little, squeezing his hand and leaning on his shoulder once again.
Sire blinked, still staring straight forward. He took a moment before reply.
“I get it,” he mumbled. “It’s rough. But I have no doubt you’ll do fine.”
So it’s for comfort? he thought. Not because— no… she feels the same, right?
He shook his head. Why am I overthinking this? It’s so unlike me.
He let out a small laugh at himself, smiling for a moment. He was oblivious he had done so, but his face rested in a sort of gleeful emotion— contentedness? That’s what someone might call it. Sire didn’t necessarily feel it often, but ever since he had met Seo Hyeon, it’d become more relevant to his situations. And, honestly, he didn’t mind.
He glanced over at her for a quick second, then back to the window. Pine trees began to pass, and the sky overhead looked much more clouded. They were getting close to the grounds, where they’d stay in cabins until Friday. That have them about three days to work their butts off with little reward.
It was sort of like a camping situation. Schedule was: get up at five, eat, train until late evening, eat, do whatever, and lights out at nine. They were regulated like children, but Sire didn’t really care. During the evening there was normally a campfire, which he didn’t mind in the slightest. There were little things to look forward to.
She looking up at him, happy to see the cute smile on his face when she did. She wondered what was so funny to laugh at out of nowhere. But she just ignored it. It would be best to do that instead of overthinking every single thing.
Instead she tried to focus on something else. She didn't know much about the camp. But she knew a few things.
They were going to be in cabins which she was excited about. She figured the boys and girls would be separated, but she's been to a lot of things where they haven't so she wouldn't be surprised if they weren't. The schedule was fine to her, though she hated to work that long solely with her powers. But it was for the best. Hopefully she would be better and it would all have been so worth it by the end of this trip…
She didn't know what the weather conditions were going to be like, do she packed a bit of everything. From sweaters to tune tops. Actually, she only packed two of those. She even packed a bathing suit, but regretted it later. She loved swimming but she highly doubted they would do it here.
Suddenly, a small patter of rain made itself heard batting against the roof of the bus. A low grumble could be heard from a few students, but if anything, Sire was infinitely more excited. He loved the rain and any kind of cold weather— be it snow, hail, rain, fog, or just clouds. In this case, it was just the rain, fog, and a thick overlay of clouds, as they drove deeper and deeper into the forest.
Sire looked out the window in awe, like a small kid looking into a fish tank.
The bus suddenly pulled to a halt, some kind of gravel clearly beneath the tires. The professor pushed himself up, walking out down the aisle and motioning for the students to file out. The rest of them looked less nervous now, due to the schedule the rest of the day. The most of it would be familiarizing and going over tactics and looking at the next two days. No real training today, no. The hardcore stuff started tomorrow.
Sire didn’t move. Nor did he look over. He was happy, to say the most. His hand was content and warm in Seo Hyeon’s, and frankly, he was okay with that.
He finally glanced over, however he kept still, waiting for her to determine whatever they decided to do.
(sorry it’s a bit short)
(it's fine)
(I just found out how to do tiny letters and I'm super happy ohmygoodnessgracious it's so adorable aah)
Seo Hyeon shivered a bit as the bus suddenly got decently colder, nuzzling a bit more into Sire subconsciously, though once she noticed she had she didn't say anything. Nor did she pull away. He looked really cute looking out the window she couldn't contain her rapidly beating heart.
Her thoughts were pulled to a halt as the bus did the same. Sitting up off of Sire, not wanting to though, she looked up at all of the others students getting up and off of the bus.
Turning back to look out the window, all she could see was fog in the thick of the forest. She already was really nervous.
Once Sire looked at her again, she wanted nothing more than to stay right there beside him. Standing up, picking her bag up with her free hand and keeping her hand in his as she looked up at him with a bright smile. "ready to go?"
Sire was surprised when she didn’t let his hand go, but hey, he wasn’t one to complain.
He got up as well, rising with her. He grabbed his own bag with his free hand, slightly awkwardly holding his gauntlet and book in one hand. The other was occupied, clearly, and couldn’t be moved. Didn’t want to, actually.
Sire contemplated whether he should let go or not. What if people saw? Surely there’d be publicity. Seo Hyeon and the outcast son of the headmaster. The socially askew student who skips class like a delinquent and a good kid, dating.
But who was he to care, if she didn’t?
He paused for a moment, slowing down his thoughts as he took a deep breath.
They weren’t even dating. He didn’t know if they would. Heck, they were just holding hands. He needed to get his mind out of the… quite delightful-seeming gutter.
He shook his head, looking back to Seo Hyeon. He took the headphones and wrapped them back up, slipping them into his pocket.
He squeezed her hand slightly, nodding.
“Yeah,” he replied, gesturing forward. “After you.”
Her smile grew when he showed the fact that he didn't want to let go. Her heart stuttering and tripping over her thoughts.
What was everyone else going to say if they saw them hiding hands? The freak and the headmasters son? He would definitely have a bad view by everyone in the school. Maybe even bullied!
No, she was being dramatic… Right? Right?!
Leading him out of the bus as their arms grew farther apart but their hands stayed locked with the key thrown in the gravel below this huge bus. As if she were showing him off, which is was obvious she wouldn't as she was never the type to do such a thing as show off.
Once she stepped outside and off of the bus next to Sire now, a visible shiver went through her "eek" she squeaked as she moved closer to Sire, wrapping her other hand around his arm as to keep her there, soaking up his warmth. "it's a bit chilly" she says with a small laugh
Sire let her lead him, like a puppy who didn’t care for his own freedom. Once off the bus, greeted with the frigid air, he felt more alive than ever. It was beautiful out here— the deep grey of the sky causing the dark green of the trees to stand out among it. Fog held in the air, giving it a slight damp feeling.
His eyes wandered past the students, taking in the camp grounds. It looked exactly like it sounded. Small cabins lined the far side of the massive clearing, pine needles, bark, and dirt coating the ground. Directly in the middle was a gigantic campfire, although it was put out at the moment. Logs lined it, meant for small groups, but with gaps to fit more logs if needed. To the right lied two other cabins, likely for a medical tent and the teachers/instructors.
Based on past experiences, Sire knew training happened elsewhere. There’d be a small trail off behind the cabins that they would take, and end up in a sort of large, cleared out cavern almost.
He glanced back to see the bus taking off once again. Stuck here.
But as Seo Hyeon hugged his arm, he didn’t really care.
“A little,” he replied in a soft mutter. “But it’s nice.”
The professor turned, addressing the whole group that had exited the bus.
“For now, you are to go to your cabins. Since we have a small group, we’ll be taking the two leftmost ones. Girls will have the cabin on the right, boys, left,” he commanded, gesturing to the six lined up on the opposide side. The two the class had were next to one another.
“Set your stuff down, then acquaint,” he informed. “Meet at the fire at 12. I’ll go let them know we’re here.”
With that, the professor walked off.
She stood there listening to him but not actually laying attention. She was too busy overthinking everything possible of overthinking.
She was pretty good at that.
Overall she was nervous about this camp. What they were going to do and how hard they all were going to be pushed. What was this going to be like? Was she overall just going to hate it? She was pretty sure she wasn't going to love it. But hey, she was going to give it a chance. She never liked going into things thinking she'll hate it.
Once the professor was done talking, she turned to Sire with a bit if worry in her eyes, that she quickly pushed down. "so I guess this is where we part" she says with a nervous laugh and a smile. Honestly not wanting to leave his side. He was the only one she felt comfortable around. What was she going to do?
Hopefully the girls were nice.
Sire gave a nod, gently wresting himself from her side. He looked back with another one of his timid smiles.
“I’ll see you in a sec,” he said softly, turning back and continuing to walk with the group of boys to the far cabins.
He pushed the door open, taking a top cot on the far side of the room.
Sire really didn’t mind rooming with people, but when it came to bunk beds, he hated them. At least these ones were fine— jutting out of the walls like shelves instead of being attached at the rim.
He set his bag down on top, kicking his feet over the side and setting down his book. He slipped his gauntlets on begrudgingly, sliding his book over to the diminutive side table.
After that, he surveyed the team of boys.
Aryan was here— to be expected. There were only four boys, including Sire. He noticed one of the younger years, Simon, a quiet boy with some sort of teleporting ability. The other, besides Aryan, was a kindly-looking fellow, or as other people would call it, “nerd.” He had large rimmed glasses with blonde hair, accompanied by large green eyes. He was about Sire’s age, if not younger. The others called him Tiki, Sire unsure what it was short for, if anything. Although it was a suiting name— having some power over fire.
The others took their seats on the cots, beginning to talk about the camp. The buzz was there— they were certainly more excited than they had been before.
Sire looked out the window, waiting for Seo Hyeon to finish unpacking and introductions. Maybe she’d come over once she finished and they could take a walk…? or not. He didn’t care. She could take her time. After all, they had about an hour or so until they had to meet around the fire.
Hesitantly, she left his side as well, bringing her bags to the cabin, though tripping a bit over a rock.
Quickly getting up, she smiled and opened the door to three other girls. Along with a few sets of weird looming bunk beds.
Obviously picking the top one as she loved the top bunk, she set her suitcase beside it and looked at the rest of the girls.
None of them she knew which she was actually pretty glad about that. She was a bit concerned that one girl she fought would be in here.
Looking down to a short haired Blondie, curly hair and hug blue eyes. Seo Hyeon was almost scared of her. Intimidated by her beauty. She was rather cute, she would never deny. She was talking with a black Haired girl she swore was going to kill her in her sleep. She sat across from her in the bunk bed, glaring at her every now and then. Finally there was another girl in the near corner with straight brown hair and freckles littering her face.
Seo hyeon decided it'd be best to talk to them a bit later, but now she was going to go out and meet up with Sire. Well, would that be too soon? They just got in and settled down. Maybe he would like to talk to his roomies.
So she just decided to get out her phone and text him.
"hey? You got any friends yet? 😄"
Sire’s phone lit up beside him, which caught his eye. He pried himself away from the “inclusive” conversation that was occurring. He held it up, heart beating a bit faster as he read the name it was from.
Sire wasn’t the kind of guy to keep silly contact names, or even nicknames. Though, as he read the name, he figured a small heart might look good next to it.
Shaking his head quickly, he opened up his phone and read the message. Taking a deep sigh, he texted back.
“mhm. It’s Aryan, Tiki, and Simon. You might know them”
He clicked it off and set the phone by his side again, turning his head back to the boys. As if on que, the blonde kid called up.
“You’re Sire, right?” he asked.
Sire nodded.
He returned the nod, letting out a smile. “Nice to meetcha. You excited?”
“Moderately,” Sire lied. “You’re Tiki, right?”
“Sure am. And this is my lil brother, Simon,” he replied.
Simon, the auburn-haired boy, gave a small wave. He looked nothing like Tiki, with small blue eyes and freckles. Sire never would have guessed.
Sire nodded. “I’ve seen you around before.”
Aryan instantly bounded up to Sire’s bunk, leaning an elbow on the side and giving a grin.
“And, of course, you know who I am,” he laughed.
“Mhm,” Sire mumbled. His gaze was still fixed on his phone. “Sure do.”
She sat on the bed, looking down at her pastel pink cased phone, charms and stickers of flowers and small cute chibi cats and puppies decorating it.
Her eyes lighting up as she saw the name. Sire with a Crown emoji and then a yellow heart beside it. Yes, she was weak for cute little things like that. She was a stupid teenage girl after all.
The small ding notification made her jump as she was zoning out, dropping her phone off the bed and into the floor. All of the girls eyes were on her.
"oh-" she squeaked before scurrying off of the bed and reaching for her phone. Though the scary girl got to it first. "oh? Is this yours? What's your name again hon?" she asked with a smile. Seo Hyeon stepped back and shakily answers "c-call me CC" she took a breath in
"oh? Hm, I'm Bee" the girl says with a smile. "so who's this uh" she turned the phone around to look at the name only for her eyes to widen. "Sire Huh? Oh how cute. The headmasters son." she laughed. "here you go." Bee tossed the phone back to the scared looking white haired girl. Who fumbled and dropped it once against. Quickly bending down, her hair in her face which she tried to brush off.
"thank you. I don't mean to cause any… Drama or… Anything" she looked away before climbing back on the top bunk and texting him back.
"right! Ive heard of the other two, but..Tiki? I don't recognize that name 😅"
Aryan continued yapping about stuff Sire cared nothing about. He picked up his lit up phone, the grey case flashing slightly in the dim lighting.
He glanced up from Tiki back to his phone, beginning to type back.
“think his real name’s Karson? Idk. The guy with the fire powers in the class below us. Simon’s older brother”
Sire paused after sending, still staring at his phone. He took a moment before continuing to type in a separate message:
“how are things with you?”
Sire waited to send it, hovering his thumb over the button. As Aryan concluded whatever he had been saying, his attention turned back to Sire. The boy quickly hit send, clicking the phone off once again and slipping it beside him.
“Ey, Sire,” Tiki began, standing by the door. “We’re going out to scope the training spot this year. You coming?”
Sire blinked. He wasn’t normally included in things, but the perfect combat by Tiki’s friendly demeanor seemed to break him. Or all the social practice with CC.
“Yeah, I’ll be out in a second,” Sire replied, glancing to his phone.
Aryan gave a firm pat to Sire’s back, following the rest of the boys out the door.
Sire kicked back, happy to be alone for once. He held up his phone in his hand, looking at the dark screen.
She laid back in her bed before looking down at her suitcase, debating whether to get her pillows out. She didn't trust these ones.
Leaning against the wall on her bed as she looked on her phone at his text.
"well, it's alright. The girls are a bit scary so I might take a walk outside. If you wanna join? <3" she typed with a small smile. Hesitating to put the heart. But shrugging it off and sending it anyway.
Afterwards she set her phone on the bed quickly and looked at it as if she had just confessed her feelings to him over a risky text.
Not…. Not that there were any feelings to confess..
Totally.
She soon got out of the bed and took her pillow and small blanket out, laying it on the bed. Debating about changing, but deciding against it. Even though she was wearing a pretty short skirt, she was sure Sire wouldn't mind. He wasn't a pervert so she didn't think about it much
Sire had to resist the urge to smile when he saw her text. Not only the heart, but the fact that Seo Hyeon would think the other girls as “scary” seemed an awful lot like her. And he didn’t mind that one bit.
He remembered he was in the room alone, and took a deep breath. As he exhaled, he let himself smile. No one was there to see, after all. So, what did it matter? She made him happy. He wanted to show it. Just… to no one in particular.
He clicked off his phone, deciding not to reply. After all, the cabins were just next to one another. He hoisted himself down from his bunk and made his way to the door, putting his gauntleted hands in his sweatshirt pocket before wiping the grin off his face. He resumed his sort of stand-offish posture and demeanor, slipping out of the door.
His dark attire made him all but stand out from the dark forest surrounding the camp. If anything, he looked like he was part of it. Which he didn’t hate— he’d always been a fan of the forest. He’d only been there once, and read about them all the time in books. They always exceeded his expectations. A book is nothing like the real experience.
He breathed in deep, feeling the heavy cold air seep into his lungs. It was no longer raining, but the drops of water glinted off the trees beautifully. It smelled like rain, too. One of Sire’s favorite things.
He made his way over by the balcony of the girls’ cabin, waiting outside for Seo Hyeon.
She looked at the text tapping her finger nervously as she saw that he looked at it. Though after a few seconds went by and he didn't reply, she decided he didn't want to come. So, she got down and stepped up to the balcony, looking outside and feeling the air on her face, not noticing the fact that Sire was there as he blended in way too much. Taking her hair out of the ponytail and letting the small breeze flit through the white strands of her hair with a small smile. "perfect time for a walk. Whether I'm alone or not" she says happily to herself before noticing Sire and almost yelping.
"ah! Sire? Oh golly sorry." she looked away for a second as her face turned beat red and it was noticeable. She didn't even know what she was apologizing for, but she found herself looking at him Nervously as she twirled a small blue flower in her fingers
