Quinn’s fingers ran through Ollie's hair, a soft hum leaving his lips. “It’s going to be okay.” He murmured, wrapping an arm around the boy he knew he loved.
Quinn’s fingers ran through Ollie's hair, a soft hum leaving his lips. “It’s going to be okay.” He murmured, wrapping an arm around the boy he knew he loved.
Ollie snuggled more into Quinn's embrace, slowly relaxing and calming down. It was clear he was still going to be anxious no matter what, but he was calmer then he had been.
“Ollie…?” He started quietly, hugging the other a little closer. Quinn sounded a little nervous, but as he pulled back to look at Ollie in the face his expression was soft. “I hope it’s not way too early to start saying this but I uh… I really do think I’m in love with you. I love you…”
Ollie looked a little shocked at first. He'd never really heard those words said to him before. His mum never said it before she left and his dad well… so too say he was emotional was an understatement, "You… Y-You love me?"
Quinn blushed as he nodded. He leaned his head against Ollie’s, hiding away. “Yes… I love you. Y-you don’t have to accept my love, I understand if it’s too early or too weird but I’ve got all these emotions and things I feel around you and I haven’t felt them before…”
Ollie shook his head slightly, "No, No I-I accept it I just… n-no ones ever said that to me… until you…"
“You should get to hear it everyday, Olllie.” Quinn pressed a kiss to the other’s forehead and smiled weakly. “From now on, I’m going to say it every day. You deserve the world.”
Ollie blushed, happy tears forming at the corners of his eyes, "Quinn I… I love you too."
Ollie was too cute for his own good. Quinn dropped his bags and cupped Ollie’s face, pulling him into a passionate kiss.
Ollie melted against Quinn, dropping his own bags to wrap his arms around his neck. He pushed himself up against him, kissing back just as passionately.
Slowly, Quinn’s arms dropped to wrap around Ollie’s waist. He let out a happy hum, pulling out of the kiss a little while later.
“You’re going to be stuck with me for a long time, Ollie.” He teased, grinning.
Ollie blushed bright red and giggled softly, fiddling with the collar of Quinn's shirt absentmindedly, "I-I don't mind that."
Quinn bumped their noses together, grinning wider. “Good.” He hummed in content and pecked Ollie in the lips. “Let’s go get everything inside.”
Ollie sighed softly and pouted, hiding his face in Quinn’s chest and holding on tightly, “I don’t want to..”
Quinn mentally had to smack himself. Never had any other female, male - or any other person in that matter - ever looked so cute. “I know you don’t. I don’t either. But if we get everything done I’ll take you out for a small date.”
Ollie pulled back slightly, the pout still present but his eyes seemed to look brighter, “Y-You will?”
Quinn nodded, stealing a quick kiss. “Yes I will. Now don’t look so cute or I might have to kiss you again.”
Ollie did his best to pull his best puppy dog eyes. If there was even a chance he could get another kiss he'd do it.
Quinn made a face at Ollie but leaned down to kiss him softly. “You’re such a dork.”
Ollie giggled softly, "You like it though." He stuck his tongue out at him before picking up the bags.
“I do like it. I like it a lot.” Quinn hurried to snatch up more bags than Ollie so the other didn’t have to carry a lot in. “I got these, now let’s head in.”
Ollie tried to protest, knowing he could take the bags but knew there was no point in even trying, "Yeah… let's go." He sighed, a kernel of dread in his gut before he walked the rest of the way to the bar.
Quinn followed close behind Ollie, a bright grin on his face. He felt like he truly belonged with Ollie and he loved that. Even if the sight of the bar made his stomach queasy, Quinn could bear it to stay with his love.
As they entered, no one seemed to pay any attention to the two, much to Ollie's liking. His dad was in the corner, conversing with two other big men and didn't see them. Ollie was glad of that, and led Quinn up to the apartment.
Quinn had subconsciously ducked his head, avoiding anyone who might have even glanced their way. No one really did. He felt relieved to notice that. Quinn grabbed Ollie’s hand and sighed deeply.
