Cat stared at Aurelie and licked lips but then quickly looked away. Ducking back under. Just because they where becoming friendly again doesn’t mean Aurelie wants them to be as…close as before

Aurelie followed her under without thinking about it. She made a face at Cat underwater, puffing out her cheeks ridiculously.

Cat laughed holding her breath and ticking out her tongue. Hair floating around her again adding to the silliness.

Aurelie giggled and made another face, rolling her eyes back so the whites were showing. After another moment she went back up for air.

Cat whent up as well. laughing as she gasped for air. moving so she was floating on her back.

Aurelie floated on her back beside her. She was laughing as well, her face going as red as her hair.

Cat floated closer to her as her smile grew. "This place is so peaceful," She whispered listening to the birds and other animals in the woods.

“Mmm,” Aurelie agreed, her mouth curving into a smile. “It’s wonderful. Thanks for bringing me here.”

"You're welcome," Cat said smiling. She turned slightly so she was now floating on her stomach.

“Do you come here a lot?” Aurelie asked, staring at the sky. She smiled as she thought of different shapes in the clouds.

“I used too but I haven’t been able too lately,” she explains staring at Aurelie. She tried not too. Looking around at nature or the sky instead but Aurelie was more beautiful than any of that.

“Look at the clouds,” Aurelie said, oblivious to the looks that Cat was shooting at her. “Look at the shapes.”

Cat went back to floating in her back watching the clouds. “That one looks like a horse,” she laughed pointing at a cloud that did slightly resemble a horse.

Aurelie giggled. “It kinda does. That one looks like a bear pushing a baby carriage,” she added.

Cat laughed looking at the clouds Aurelie talked about. "you're right," She said floating right next to Aurelie.

“Oh my gosh that one’s a dragon in flight! Right next to a happy dog, or is that a lizard?” she commented, pretending not to notice how close Cat was to her.

She laughed again. "I think it looks more like a lizard but I can see dog too," She said her hand grazing Aurelie slightly but she quickly moved from her back to swimming upright.

Aurelie blushed at the unexpected contact, glancing over at Cat for a moment before looking away again. “And look, that one’s a mermaid,” she added, trying to pretend everything was normal.

She looked up at the clouds again. “Hmm yeah,” she said before looking back down at Aurelie. She lightly splashed her laughing.

Aurelie giggled and splashed Cat back with a bit more fervor. She hadn’t had a splashing war with anyone in some time.

Cat laughed again splashing her back. the wave bigger than before. going straight to Aurelie's face.

Aurelie sputtered and coughed a bit, spitting water out. She was fine, since the girls weren’t in very deep water, and shook it off. She splashed Cat back with an equally large wave.

Cat saw the wave coming and quickly closed her mouth. she whent under with the wave. Jumping up and splashing Aurelie a few seconds later.

Aurelie giggled and made a sweeping motion in the water, sending a wave out at Cat. She grinned triumphantly.

Cat pretended to trip causing a larger wave to hit Aurelie.
