She nodded. "Yeah it's nice," She said smiling softly. She finally got to the stand and ordered their food.

Aurelie wanted to take off her hood, but she knew that if she did it would only raise questions in those around her. Questions that she didn’t need. So she waited for the food, tugging her hood the tiniest bit forward to hide her face better.

The food came fast. She took the sandwiches and motioned for Aurele to help with the drinks. She placed the food down on a small picnic table away from anyone else.

Aurelie took the drinks, following Cat to the table. She sat down gracefully on one of the seats and took a sip of her water.

Cat placed a sandwich in front of Aurelie and took her own drink. She opened her wrapped sandwich and took a bite.

“Thanks,” she said with a brief smile before unwrapping and taking a bite of her own sandwich. It was pretty good.

"You're welcome," She said taking another bite. "Do you like it?" She half-covered her mouth as she spoke.

Aurelie nodded, giving a goofy close-lipped smile since her mouth was full of food. She chewed and swallowed before asking, “Do you?”

She nodded. "yeah its good I've eaten from here before," She said holding back a laugh again. She doesn't think she'll ever stop finding this girl adorable.

“Why don’t we just spend the day together? No offense or anything, but I would much rather spend a day with you than with a series of random girls,” she proposed with a smile before taking another bite.

Cat swallowed her bite hesitating. "We don't need to go talk to anyone but I don't think us hanging out would be a good idea," She admitted.

“And why is that?” Aurelie asked, raising an eyebrow. She felt suddenly defensive. She took another bite of her sandwich, annoyed.

Cat's leg bounced slightly as she stared at her food. "I'm not going to be here that long. Plus you barely even know me… and you already hate me enough as it is," She said. She knew that if Aurelie got to know her she probably really wouldn't like Cat.

Aurelie pursed her lips. “I’m going to be asleep in less than two days, possibly forever,” Aurelie responded. “And when I eventually do wake up, everything will change. Why are you trying to deny me one day of fun with you? You’ve said that you don’t hate me but I’m not convinced.”

Cat bit the inside of her cheek. "You aren't exactly going to have much fun with me. Like I said you hated me a few hours," She said taking another bite.

“Caterina, I didn’t hate you, and I don’t care what I said earlier,” she sighed. “I was angry with you, understandably so. I’m actually relieved to be telling you. I’d hate to have my curse in effect with you thinking I hate you.”

Cat swallowed and then looked back up. She actually relaxed slightly at that but wasn't sure what to say. She chose to stay silent instead. thinking.

Aurelie drew her brow together. “So? Are you going to say anything? Do you even care?” She took a deep breath. “I’m being dramatic. Say something, don’t say something, it doesn’t matter.”

"I umm I do care. You aren't being dramatic you have every right to be mad," She admits.

Aurelie released a breath she didn’t realize that she had been holding. “Oh, um, good. So you don’t hate me either then?”

"No I don't," She said biting her cheek again. Taking a sip of her water.

“Good. So, now that all of that is out of the way, I think that we should just enjoy the rest of the day,” Aurelie added, taking another bite.

"Sure," Cat gave in continuing to eat her sandwich.

Aurelie finished her sandwich and took another sip of her water. “Is there anything specific you want to do? And don’t say talk to more girls.”

Cat rolled her eyes but smiled. “No not really and like I said before I ran out of girls for you to talk to,” she said finishing her sandwich as well.
