Cas huffed and hid his face again, no less red than before. "I'm clearly so mistreated."
Cas huffed and hid his face again, no less red than before. "I'm clearly so mistreated."
“Aw, poor you,” Nick teased, still smiling. “How awful it must be to have a loving boyfriend.”
"I know, right?" He gripped Nick's shirt, keeping his face hidden as best he could.
Nick chuckled and continued to hold Cas tightly.
After a few seconds of silent cuddling, Cas spoke again. "I love you…"
Nick smiled. “I love you too…”
Cas kissed Nick's neck softly, that place being the only one he could currently reach.
Nick shivered at his touch, somehow even now still feeling tingly when Cas kissed him.
Cas glanced up at Nick and pressed his lips to the other's jaw. "Do you like that, love?"
“Yes,” Nick mumbled. He looked into Cas’s eyes for a moment before closing his.
Cas closed his eyes as well and started to lightly suck at the skin on Nick's jaw.
Nick began drifting towards sleep. He felt very warm and cozy here with Cas.
Cas gently kissed the mark he'd made and curled up in Nick's arms, soon dozing off.
Nick fell asleep soon as well, his sleep void of dreams.
Cas awoke to knocking on the door. It took him a second to realize what was going on, but when he did, he jumped off the bed and hid underneath it.
Nick blinked awake slowly, starting when he realized someone was knocking on the door. He bit his lip nervously and straightened his clothing before opening the door.
It was just Jane, but Cas didn't know that. He remained under the bed, holding his breath and quietly panicking. Luckily, his cats had followed him under here.
“Hi, Nick,” Jane chirped. Nick let out an audible sigh of relief. “What’s going on? Where’s Cas?”
“Say that louder, why don’t you?” Nick asked sarcastically, before letting her in. “He’s fine, just hiding. Maybe we should come up with some sort of code.” To Cas he added, “It’s just Jane. You can come out.”
Cas hesitated before coming out from under the bed, clearly shaking violently from fear. He clutched Nix close his chest to try and calm himself down. Nick's clothes hung on his thin frame.
Nick noticed his state and quickly went over to Cas, pulling him into a hug. Jane felt a bit of guilt deep in her stomach, not knowing that the two of them, especially Cas, would be scared.
Cas stayed close to Nick, his trembling violent enough to make Nick shake as well. He'd been sure that there were guards at the door and that he was a goner.
“Everything is okay, Cas,” Nick whispered, trying to calm him down. “We’re going to get everything figured out and leave with the pirates and then we won’t have to worry about being found.”
Cas nodded weakly, running his fingers through Nix's fur as he huddled against Nick. "I'm… I'm sorry…" He whispered. "I thought it was the guards…"
“It’s okay, I did too,” Nick admitted. “At least it wasn’t actually them…”
He nodded again, closing his eyes with a shaky sigh. He didn't look over at Jane since he didn't want her to think he was trying to accuse her of anything.
