"Well, I know that," Teresa scoffed. "Your aura is much more powerful than one of their children, They're all weaklings."
"Well, I know that," Teresa scoffed. "Your aura is much more powerful than one of their children, They're all weaklings."
Tessa was surprised, and she raised a curious brow. This was new. "Zirion, ruler of Reavitaven's Middleworld–the Fire Realm."
(Here's the info on my universe if you need it)
(Cool, thanks!)
"Huh," Teresa said. "Were you born able to shapeshift?"
She's getting a little too accurate for my taste… But she has that same powerful aura Cin does… She shrugged nonchalantly. "A dormant trait in my mother that was amplified thanks to my father. So, yes."
(You're welcome!)
"Didn't know that was possible," she said. "Then again, I'm part alien, so, anything's possible."
Now Tessa's interest has been peaked. She cocked her head to the side and pulled out the other earbud. "What kind of alien?"
"Krie," Teresa said with a shrug. "Doubt you've heard of them."
"Nope," she said, popping the P. "But I have lots of alien friends, so it's nothing new."
Teresa grinned. "Well, we're only popular on the south side of the galaxy."
She flashed double peace signs and stuck her tongue out the corner of her mouth. "I'm popular for the wrong reasons."
"You too?" She grinned. "I kill for fun and have a habit of joining the wrong side of the war. I'm also a Black, so that doesn't help either."
Tessa took a bow. "Mafia legend that takes shit from no one. Also walking bomb, so there's that."
Teresa grinned. "I'm Teresa Black."
"Theresa Hunt, but just call me Tessa."
Teresa jerked her wrist, a knife sliding into her hand in the blink of an eye. She threw at in Tessa's direction. It hit a guy who had been trying to creep up on her in the throat.
Tessa whirled around, arm swinging in front of her in a defensive position while it burst into flame. When she saw that Teresa had taken him down, she relaxed and doused the flame. "What the fuck, dude? It's rude to sneak up on women like that."
The man choked on his own blood and collapsed. Teresa walked calmly over, pulled her knife from his neck and wiped the blood off on his shirt.
"Thanks for that," Tessa said, only half meaning it since she technically wouldn't have been affected.
Teresa shrugged. "I didn't do it for you. I was bored, and he was right there. Also, he's a vampire, and I've seen what happens when they drink ichor and trust me, it is not fun."
"They burn up as if they've touched sunlight?" Tessa guessed with a raised brow.
"Yep. And they expel a burst of energy that destroys everything non magical for miles around."
Tessa whistled, impressed. "Damn. Bad. Ass. Too bad I've never encountered a vampire before now."
Teresa laughed. "I've seen many of them. It's actually really cool."
Tessa ticked off her fingers as she spoke. "I've encountered gods–duh–wendigoes, demons, aliens, giants, titans, kitsune, dragons–again, duh–elves, werewolves, hellhounds, faeries, and a bunch of other things I can't be bothered to remember."
Teresa smirked. "And now you've met a Greek Primordial."
"Just one more thing to the list," she shrugged. "Honestly, it's all becoming less and less impressive the more I see. Less of an 'Oh my gods, they do exist!' feeling to an 'Oh my gods, another one?' feeling."
"I get that." Teresa shrugged, her wings emerging from her shirt.
"Oooo, you got wings too!"
Teresa grinned. "So do my brothers." She made a face.
