Tessa was glad the park was empty, as she was itching to little ditty today. She set her music player on a random picnic table and pressed play, hips already moving to the beat as she waited for the right moment to start freestyling it.

(You're fine.)

"Resa? Where are you?" Gavin called. He sounded close. Teresa cursed and glanced around before standing. Her twin noticed her, and started towards her. Sticking out her tongue, she vanished, reappearing in a park.

R.I.P by Sofia Reyes (feat. Rita Ora & Anitta) was playing, and Theresa closed her peepers and moved her body and hips to the song, not noticing the girl that appeared in the park.

Tess cracked open an peeper, then rolled it as she saw a girl standing there. She just shrugged and kept going, hips circling and body rolling to the music.

The song ended, and Tess sat on the ground, cross-legged as she savored the feel of the sun on her skin, recharging her energy from yesterday's adventures.

Tessa strolled through the dark streets, not on low battery thanks to her sunlight absorption, and hummed quietly to herself as she listened to the music coming through her earbuds.

Teresa heard humming and glanced down to see the dancing girl from earlier, walking down the street. She dropped silently down and followed her.

Tessa twirled around with a flourish, popping out an earbud. "Ah, so you're not mortal I see." She didn't look the least bit afriad–and she wasn't. She lived in a city filled with hundreds of gods and was even friends with four of the highest-ranking gods.

Tess crossed her grabby limbs over her chest as she smirked as well. "That would be because I am of a higher power level, thanks to my oh so gracious father."

"He EXPELLED us because HE was being a dick and my friend pulled rank and called him out!!" She huffed and glared at the sky, as if her glare could penetrate the heavens and reach him from where he sat, lazing about doing who knows what.

"Not Greek or Roman or any of that," Tessa said automagically. Everyone that wasn't cognizant of the Ancient Ones–which was kinda the point–automagically thought she was a Greek or Roman demigod thanks to freaking Rick Riordan. No, she was not. She was much more powerful and had a higher chance of surviving on her own.
