"Don't worry, if you can't I will." A bit of a deadly tone came out as he said that. It was unusual for Uriah to act this way, he was usually the funny, try to keep everyone happy guy, but being here changed him a bit. "We will get him, and I will kill him."
Cyrus laughed, "Oh, I'm plenty happy with killing him too. I have my reasons…"
He paused for a second. Did Uriah even know about his relationship to Panther?
"I'm a little scared, quite frankly. I've never felt bloodlust before like this."
"That's something I thought I'd never hear from you." Uriah chuckled just thinking about Cyrus killing anyone. "Well I've felt it many times." One being his father, then the man that killed Zhavia and now Panther, the man putting all his loved ones in this situation.
“Me neither.”
Cyrus’ voice started to get increasingly thin and fragile-sounding.
“So I don’t know if Panther mentioned this, or if you’ve caught word of it, but I’m allegedly his grandson,” Cyrus explained.
"Oh, really?" Uriah eyes got wide. It wasn't like he blamed Cy, but he was a bit surprised. "It makes sense a bit. Your parents were assassins there and you grew up there. Most kids don't just grow up in a guild ."
“They don’t steal all of their kids,” Cyrus sighed, “I’m not that much of an anomaly. How could I have even guessed it?”
"Well I don't know. I only became an assassin a year ago." Uriah was still trying to figure things out. He didn't know everything about assassins, but he was glad that he had the skills of one now. "So, do we have any plans yet, or are we going with the flow?"
“We shall see… Are either of us ready for a fight as it is?” Cyrus asked, “because we’re both in rough shape and unarmed to my knowledge.”
"I could probably fight a bit more, but I am pushing my body to it's limit. I feel I am going to have some permanent damage after this." With how he is now, Uriah shouldn't even be moving, but he had no choice at this point. "Are you going to be okay?"
Luna managed to sneak herself out of the infirmary once she had calmed down Sparrow right behind her. Her first move was to go back to where there clothes were and change back. She couldn't stand being in those nurse uniforms any longer. Once changed she pulled her hood up and began sneaking to where Uriah and Cyrus now were, only a few steps behind to stay unnoticed.
“Yeah, I’m in pain, but there’s not much I can do there. I probably can’t put up much of an actual fight though. I’m definitely more concerned about you.”
Cyrus kept pressing forward.
“This isn’t going to be a piece of cake.”
"You don't have to worry about me." Is what Uriah said, but he was definitely in pain. He did his best to hide it though. Panther could be anywhere in the building right now, but checking his office should be the first place.
“I still do,” Cyrus whispered, “but I’ll try to stay focused o the task at hand.”
He looked around.
“He’s probably in his office or something.”
"That's what I was thinking." There made it to the top floor. Uriah was good until now, now he was a but nervous. One wrong move and they would kill him, which would be easy with him in this condition.
“Just play along,” Cyrus muttered, “I have a feeling smooth talk is going to be our way out, not outright violence.”
Playing along was something Uriah was very good at. He had to do it pretty much his whole life. His father was controlling, so he had to play the perfect son. "I'll follow your lead." It was nice to have an friend next to him, someone he could trust.
Cyrus gave a halfhearted smile. He really hoped they wouldn’t have to drag this out. Then again, they couldn’t afford to be hasty either.
“Panther! We’re here!” Cyrus called towards the office, “You wanted to speak to us?”
Uriah didn't even wait for anyone to open the door. Slowly he opened it and walked in. "Hello." He bowed and wasn't sure why. Maybe he was a bit nervous. Calm down, your fine. Was all he could tell himself. Uriah went a happy place in his mind and took a deep breath.
Luna watched as Uriah and Cyrus entered Panther's office from an area that she and Sparrow wouldn't be seen from. Either from Panther or the cameras. She felt the panic rise in her chest, but forced herself calm so that she didn't make a sound.
(Heyo guys!! Sorry for going MIA, but I hadn't gotten my letter from uni and there was a week until classes started so I got super stressed, I've been really busy since then and totally forgot about this thingy!! Bec if you still want to help me flesh my rp out a bit more, I'd be willing to!!)
(It's totally understandable. I'm just happy you are back!)
(Yeah, good to see you back!)
(So we are just going to keep talking about planning to kill Panther because idk how I can add that in here without it being to predictable)
(So, we starting again? Because we are so close to the ending of the main story and honestly I can't wait. I'm excited to see what will happen next.)
(We can finish this part if the story I kinda have an idea of how I can start part two of this if you guys are interested)
