Firiko raised an eyebrow at that but stayed silent best not to pry here he thought to himself.
Firiko raised an eyebrow at that but stayed silent best not to pry here he thought to himself.
“Just ask if you’re going to ask.” Jack said to Firiko.
"Dont tell me you're a mind reader too" said Firiko.
“I’m not. But you’re likely curious, because, by human nature, most people are. So just ask.”
"Not my business" said Firiko getting to his feet, and stretching.
Jack rolled his eyes. “Whatever.” Reed looked at Firiko, and hoping that the link still worked, thought, “I’ll tell you later.”
its none of my business so dont bother said Firiko shifting to wolf form and pulling a wing over his head to get some shuteye before morning.
“You should sleep.” Jack and Reed said to each other at the same time. Reed laughed, and they both laid down.
(Timeskip?)
Firiko smiled and looked up at the stars with one eye. After that is wasnt long before he drifted off to sleep.
(Yep)
Reed woke up after everybody else. He didn’t notice the cut on his arm, and he didn’t notice the knife in Jack’s pocket. He yawned.
(And the cut and the knife are important why?)
Firiko padded back into the clearing with his catch, putting it down he smiled at Reed. "Morning mate" he said.
(Also my boi is up at the crack of dawn..)
(It’ll be important eventually(Jack’s being a self-preserving Slytherin, as always), and I changed the post, my autocorrect is annoying and freaks out sometimes)
“Morning.” Reed said, smiling.
Jack suddenly appeared, holding a few pieces of fruit. When Reed looked at him hopefully, he resided an eyebrow and said, “This is mine.”
"Don't worry Reed" laughed Firiko "I brought enough for both of us!" He brought the large furry thing over and quickly skinned it and charred it with his fire aura, handing about half of the meat over to Reed as he went.
Reed gladly took it and began eating it. Jack cringed and looked away.
"Its cooked ok?" Said Firiko slightly offended by Jacks face.
“That’s-“ Jack’s stoic face turned into a look of desperation, and turned to walk into the forest.
"Whats up with him?" Asked Firiko with confusion.
“Funeral rituals involve burning the body.” Reed said, watching Jack disappear. “Meat bothers him now, especially watching it get cooked.”
"Oh.." said Firiko a bit sheepish as he half cooked the last strip. Biting into it and letting the last bits of liquid run a little.
“Don’t worry about it. He’ll be alright, but next time give him some warning.”
"Next time Im about to do something thats gonna upset him warn me first ok?" Said Firiko
“Yeah.”
Firiko finished his share, "should we go find him?"
“I’ll go. He’ll get mad either way, but he’ll get violent if you come.” Reed said, standing up and walking in the direction that Jack had gone in.
Firiko watched him go, debating on following.
“Jack?” Reed finally found him, sitting on a log.
“You killed him, you know. I tell you that you didn’t, but you did.” Jack said, sounding extremely odd. “You shot him.”
(Bump)
Firiko watched the trees for a moment, before setting to work on cleaning up the campsite. I hope Jack's gonna be okay.. I mean we've had a pretty rough start..
Jack slowly got up, and before Reed could respond, punched him in the face. Reed reeled back, and when he opened his eyes again, he saw Jack looking very angry.
“No. No, not again.” Jack said. “Listen, that….. that was something else, it won’t happen again.”
Reed raised an eyebrow, noticing his bleeding nose.
“I promise.” Jack looked genuinely sorry.
“Let’s just go back to camp, ok?” Reed said.
Jack nodded, following Reed.
Firiko looked up as Reed came out of the trees with Jack at his heels. Raising an eyebrow he decided it would be better not to interfere. as long as they aren't causing trouble so bad that one or both gets seriously injured it's best to stay out of it…
