@Hawkeye
“Do they know you?” Reed whispered.
“Do they know you?” Reed whispered.
"Nope" said Firiko, "But I'm guessing we should do as they ask.."
“No freaking crap.”
"Come on scaredy" said Firiko walking towards the waiting guards.
“Oh, shut up.” Reed said, following.
Firiko smirked as the guards let them into the village, surrounding them and leading them to a large house in the center.
“Because random big houses in the middle of small towns always mean good things.” Reed said loudly.
the guards gave Reed a terrified look as they stopped at the door of the house, the lead guard motioning for them to go inside…
"I guess we go in?" said Firiko heading for the door.
“Probably.” Reed said distractedly, raising an eyebrow at the guards.
The lead guard led them inside the temple-like house. Once inside they hung a left down the ornate hallway. Turning into another room they were confronted by a man sitting behind a desk. The man ignored them until the guard coughed.
Reed started st the man, trying to get a read off of him. Sometimes his prophetic curse could give him the ability to read people’s minds, if only a little bit.
The man looked up, "And who might you be?" he asked.
"We are warriors sent by Mikalar's king." replied Firiko calmly.
(Feel free to manipulate this guy too. In fact please do because as much as I love this roleplay my brain keeps trying to clog the word despenser for this RP)
Reed squinted at the man before feeling his eyes widen. He knew this man, and he also strongly disliked him. Reed put his hand on Firiko’s arm.
Firiko raised an eyebrow at Reed, before turning back to the man as he spoke.
"Why have you been sent?"
"We came to aid you and your kingdom at the news of danger."
Reed squeezed Firiko’s arm, and whispered, “Shut up.”
Firiko gave him a weird look, but stayed silent.
The man behind the desk gave a slight motion to the guards and they were led back outside. The guard stopped just before releasing them. "You are welcome to stay the night, but we don't have anything that is needed." he said apologetically.
Reed looked at Firiko expectantly, not totally sure what to do, but relieved to be away from the man. He wasn’t totally sure where he knew the man from, but he was very sure he knew him. Something about a few friends of his…..
Firiko nodded to the guard then led Reed to a narrow alley out of earshot. "What was that Reed?" he asked not sure what to think.
“I know that man- the one behind the desk. I don’t remember where, but he was really, really bad news.”
"Got anything more than that?" Asked Firiko
(Can you bump our other Rp… I lost it when my chromebook died…)
“He….. he did something to a couple of friends. I don’t think he has any magic, he’s just cruel.”
"Hmmm" said Firiko. "Alright.. well I didnt get a good vibe from him either so we'll skip on outta here ASAP.." said Firiko heading back to the lead guard.
“Alright…..” Reed followed Firiko, trying to remember why the man made him so uneasy.
Firiko quickly thanked the guard for hospitality then explained that they'd be heading back to their own kingdom that night. And that theyd camp out in the plains bordering the Primal. Turning away to exit the gates they were soon out of the city with no trouble.
