@Hawkeye
Reed shuddered, coming up with a few memories of what the man had done to him and his friends.
(Do you care if I pretty much make up an entire character for this dude, or do you have something in mind?)

(Not really. But at this point they'll probably press on to the next city so you might wanna have that guy follow them..)
(Yep)
"So I take it you realize we are not just going back through the primal just like that right? Asked Firiko.
“Well, of course.” Then Reed paused, and began walking slightly faster. “Stay quiet, head down, find a spot to hide.”
Firiko didnt say a word as he banked of into the forest leading Reed to a slight ravine and ducking down in it. "What was that for?" He mouthed.
“Someone’s following us.” Reed said, shortly. The one time when he wanted a prophetic dream, it wasn’t coming.
"Great" said Firiko, carefully turning around. Pulling up his hood he peeked over the ridge to see, looking for a good ten minutes he spotted some of the guards tromping through the forest.
Reed closed his eyes for a second, before seeing an exit out of the ravine out of the guards’ line of sight. “Come on.” He whispered, barely audible.
Firiko moved slowly back down out of sight and followed Reed down the ravine.
Eventually, Reed found what he was looking for, he dip in the wall of the ravine. He pulled himself up, making sure to stay down, before getting out of Firiko’s way.
Firiko pulled himself up too, trying to keep his wings hidden as he moved.
“You good?” Reed asked, walking up to a couple of trees before beginning to climb them.
Firiko followed Reed's lead, "yeah" he said softly.
Reed sat himself on a branch, one that was high up, but well hidden.
Firiko pulled himself up to another branch that was a little more precarious than Reed's but he had wings so why not?
Reed looked up at Firiko, before saying, “Sorry about that.”
"There's nothing to be sorry about" said Firiko confused.
“I have a very bad feeling that that man recognized me.”
"oof.. Ok.. We'll figure it out" said Firiko softly, curling his body so that he was balanced on his toes with his back to the tree and his knees pulled up to his stomach. "First I think we should hang around up here til nightfall, then we can keep moving."
“Not sure how much that’ll deter him.” Reed realized he was being pessimistic, so added, “But I’m sure it’ll be fine.”
"You're right actually," said Firiko, "It won't deter him,"
“Then….. why?”
"Cause if you're sure he's dangerous then King Mara's suspicions were correct." said Firiko. "Meaning we have to get to the capital and find out what's going on here."
“I’m sure.” Reed said, shaking his head slightly, attempting to rid himself of the sound of some friends’ screams.
