Oh a rebellion? Why are the people rebelling and who is in charge of it?

MC Kapo- I've only finished the first book in the trilogy, and it's just on my GDrive rn lol.

IDK yet. I'm still blanking on the username (I'll scroll up and find it) but they suggested a rebellion to overthrow the old Queen of Hearts (off with her head!)
Update- Riorlyne suggested it on p 3
Maybe so the rebellion overthrew the Queen of Hearts and the people chose Alice to take charge of the throne.

Yeah, that's exactly my plan. I just don't have the details of the rebellion itself planned out
Someone convinced the people to rebel, maybe a friend of Alice's?
Probably
Maybe the cheshire cat.
You know the archetype of a trickster god? I think I'll prob have him fill that.
He comes in times of need, creates chaos, but in the end, leaves everything better
Yeah that would work too, so do we want him to kill the Queen of Hearts though? Or someone else?
IDK, maybe the Knave of Hearts kills the Queen. He's often a military/assassin type in lots of retellings, and I lowky have him planned as a character vying for the throne. If he killed the Queen, he may have been expecting to become the new ruler, and is surprised when Alice is named Queen.
GASP I JUST FIGURED A THING OUT
YES SO THAT HAPPENS, AND THE JABBERWOCKY COMES IN (I have him as having an alternate ego/human form) AND THE JABBERWOCKY MAKES A DEAL WITH HIM TO HELP HIM GET THE THRONE BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE JABBERWOCKY IS LIKE… TEACHING ALICE DARK MAGIC. HE'S SELF-SERVING, AND HE WILL END UP ON THE THRONE EITHER WAY (ONCE ONE OF HIS MINIONS, ALICE OR THE KNAVE, EITHER CEDES THE THRONE TO HIM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT I'll figure out government power passing on later lol)
SO I HAVE 3 OR 4 PLOT LINES ATM (at the moment)
Don't forget the final battle! So what do you think the rest of the book will be about? Alice's time on the throne?
Yes, I have a few sections planned out.
Maybe you should write about her adventure to get something or somewhere?
ooh the inclusion of the Jabberwocky is dope, like a being that has its own motives and couldnt care less what happens as long as he gets his way in the end, which it seems like he will.
So, at the end, once the reader gets over the fact that Alice the MC is dead… then they're going to say, okay, now Wonderland is going to be in control of the Jabberwocky, and now the book has ended, AH.
Nah, I don't really wanna do a quest. My trilogy is kinda like that, and I feel like it would just be too similar. I need something radically diff from that (otherwise I'm gonna be v bored and prob won't finish it)
This should be a series…
I'm thinking just one v big long novel. Like 400 or 500 pages at the end. But like 50,000 words is only like… 100 pages in Google docs with default formatting. Put into industry format, it's like 200
Woah! Thats cool though!
Thank you, thank you
I gotta go, but if all y'all wanna keep brainstorming I promise to read it when I come back
Bye, and thank you for all your help so far!
Its No problem! You actually got me into a WonderLand Phrase and now I want to write a book about Wonderland.
I just remembered, Isn't there a jester too?

That would be around 100k-130k, roughly.
I enjoy long books.
Great, now I really want to write a Wonderland story, but don't know what it would be about
Alice dies….so the throne is left empty for someone else?
Canonically, Wonderland is a creation of Alice’s dreams (in AiW she falls asleep due to her sister reading a boring book and in TtLG she falls asleep by a warm fire in front of the looking glass) so if she dies, you could consider that having rather a large effect on Wonderland. Idk if you want to take that route, but if you did you could foreshadow it earlier in your story by having Wonderland ‘react’ to things that happen to Alice (weather could reflect her mood, certain things could go wrong if she gets injured, etc.).

I'm gonna have it be an actual physical place bc it being a dream-world/solely a product of her imagination would be tricky to handle, I think. I think the story would be better served by having a physical location.
@AmericasFavoriteFightingFrenchGirl_LAFFETTE! WRITE A WONDERLAND STORY FOLLOWING SOMEONE OTHER THAN ALICE OR THE QUEEN OF HEARTS (everyone does those two). DO A ORIGIN STORY FOR LIKE, THE MAD HATTER but give him a new name (or genderbend him into a girl!!!) and don't let the reader know that the protag will become the mad hatter

Thats a really good idea! ButI just got this great idea, but I don't know if I should say it for copyright reasons!
