Weapon to weapon.
It takes place in Time, as you already know, and since they're both away from their power sources, I think it would make the most sense if neither of them had magic.
Maybe Alice uses some potions to augment her strength or something, but prob not. But I don't want her to have access to her ruby bc like… idk I feel like she wouldn't even want to take Peter's youth (they're friends) so it would just be easier to like… not even have her have it at that point in the story. Maybe she left it in her castle. Or lost it in the river as she crossed over to Time

@kat_i_am

PETER PAN STOLE IT TO STOP HER "REIGN OF TERROR" (realistically it wasn't that bad to justify that name) AND NOW SHE'S FIGHTING HIM FOR IT

@mckapo

I just want to say that I WANT TO READ THIS !!!!! LIKE right now. It sounds awesome!
And I love good retellings. I'm working on a dark fantasy retelling of Peter Pan, and AiW has always been once of those ones that has intrigued me…
Anyway, when you have some stuff written, I would love to read it, look it over, edit, proofread, all that fun stuff (:

@kat_i_am

Okay, thank you MC Kapo! I just commented over on that thread, I've been following it but I think it's the first time I've commented lol

@mckapo

Okay, so I read through this whole thing, and I'm wondering, why is Peter against Alice and her wanting to stay young? He doesn't want to grow old either, so I don't see how he would have a problem with Alice wanting to stay young and taking youth from 'criminals' in order to do so. (Hell, Peter steals children in the night and brings them to Neverland and puts them in extremely dangerous situations and then wants them to stay with him in Neverland [an I do believe in the original canon for Peter Pan, he offs his Lost Boys once they decide they want to grow up]).
So, maybe I missed that part in the discussion?
What is the conflict between Peter and Alice? (LOVE the crossover idea)
Once Peter falls through that Rabbit Hole (I love that idea by the way, with the White Rabbits being the Guardians, and you know, just this whole idea you've got going on, it sounds just lovely), is he going to be in Wonderland for the rest of the story? Would he have to be, in order for the conflict between him and Alice to rise to a point where they decide they are going to fight each other, possibly kill one another in this epic final battle? (I also like that you are going to kill one off, I love when writers rip out the readers hearts at the end when they decide to kill off a beloved MC…. yes… dark… I love it…)

@kat_i_am

He doesn't agree with her methods- he's not about killing "criminals" to stay young. I have this argument planned where it's all v emotional and…
Peter: You could have come to Neverland with me! You didn't have to hurt anyone!
Alice: YOU LEFT AND NEVER CAME BACK WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO???

As for him being in WL, the White Rabbits close the hole without realizing he fell through. So we have this section where he's in WL and he's trying to figure out how to get back, but slowly he's learning about Alice and what's going on in WL.
But I guess technically he doesn't go back to NL. My ending kind of just leaves it all hanging

@kat_i_am

Also just in general my Peter is a lot more like the Disney Peter. He's soft.
Alice, on the other hand, gets progressively darker and just kind of falls into madness. You know Azula from Avatar the Last Airbender? Not as sadistic, but kind of like her arc.

Maybe Peter Pan kills Alice and becomes the king of both Wonderland and Neverland?

@kat_i_am

My plan is that Alice dies in their battle, but Peter is grief-stricken. He's not interested in ruling WL, he's just lost his best friend. My final line is:
After all that happened, the Queen of Hearts was nothing more and nothing less than a child.

Alice dies….so the throne is left empty for someone else?

@mckapo

Descent into madness.
awesome.
(Azula's character arc was AMAZING)
I love that final is great tbh.

@kat_i_am

I'm so excited honestly.
Characters that descend into madness are my favorite.
I just hope I do it well lol

Are you going to write the entire story from when Alice found wonderland ?

@mckapo

Are you going to write the entire story from when Alice found wonderland ?

Oh, yes, where is the beginning going to take place? I think some flashback chapters with her interacting with Peter would be cool.

I was thinking about that too.

No, I'm going to pick up sometime after the story I think. Or maybe after the looking glass. But I'm going to essentially start it with the Rebellion that someone suggested…. But I'm also going to write in time fragments and time jumps. Like I'll end up doing a flashback to Alice's first Mad Tea Party as background for the magic teas.

Have you written anything as of yet?

Just a lot of planning and character stuff and everything. It's going to be my NaNoWriMo for this year I think. I've never done it before, but I had this idea few months ago (like… in March? or April?), and didn't want to start it right away bc I already have a big project going on (I'm in the middle of a trilogy I'm writing), plus I always need a novel idea come november lol, but don't have one.

You, girl have officailly got me into a Wonderland phase.

Oh man, November… so far…
(I am interested in this trilogy. Do you perhaps have an account on another writing site with your writing uploaded? …where I could possibly read said trilogy? :)
