"Well, I'm only eighteen you know." Wait why's he leaving me? Beau stood up as well and got dressed, carefully tying his bandanna around his neck so that it would hide the mark that Alex had made. "Um… d-do you wanna go somewhere to day? I mean… you said you don't have work, and I already cleaned the house yesterday…" He looked down at his hands shyly. Did I just ask him out on a date? Are we like, dating now?
(Beau is so paranoid like baby, Alex is just hungry that's why he got up)
Alex grinned, slipping his own clothes on before turning to face and pull Beau into him, "You're so adorable it's unreal. And yes, we can go out together," He frowned a little, tugging at the bandana, "Damn, I wanted people to see the mark, that why they know you're mine." He winked.
(He's feeling needy today lmao)
Beau stumbled slightly when Alex pulled his bandanna, but he was smiling. "Great! Where do you wanna go?" He was ignoring Alex's last comment for the time being, but he was still blushing. He hugged Alex tightly, very content at the moment.
Alex hummed in though, running his hands through Beau’s hair as he did so, “There’s this small cafe we can go to. Serves pretty good coffee apparently.”
"Coffee!" Yes. Beau looked up at Alex, grinning. "Get your shoes and let's go!" He took Alex's hand and pulled him over to the front door where their shoes were. He let go of Alex's hand for a minute to put his tennis shoes on.
Alex couldn’t help but laugh at Beau’s eagerness but he didn’t say anything about it. He put his boots on and then pulled his leather jacket on, too before he grabbed his keys, “Ready?”
"Definitely!" Beau got into the passenger seat of Alex's car and buckled himself in, tapping his feet anxiously. When Alex got into the car, he said, "You gotta teach me how to drive at some point. These things (cars) are so cool!"
Alex chuckled, buckling up, starting up the car and turning the radio on, “Sure. But if you crash my car you’re in so much trouble.” He looked behind him and backed out the driveway.
"I won't! Well, I'll try not to." Beau laughed a bit, looking out the window and watching the landscape go by. For some reason he was immensely fascinated by the experience of being in a car. (You know, like dogs lol)
(My cat got trapped in my car yesterday and that’s how I’m currently imagining Beau)
Alex grumbled something under his breath that was probably a threat if some sort before turning his attention back on the road. His fingers tapped the beat of the song on the steering wheel and bummed the tune quietly.
(Lmao)
Beau wasn't familiar with the song playing on the radio, but he wasn't paying too much attention to the music. "Oh my god look there's a dog!" He pointed out the window at a person walking their dog on the sidewalk. "How far away is the coffee shop?" (Beau does not understand that he shouldn't distract the driver with his cuteness)
(Lol)
“About five- ten minutes.” Alex smiled a little. If he keeps this up I might crash. He shook away the thought and went back to humming.
"Oh my god another dog! How many humans have dogs anyways? Can we get a dog?" Beau looked over his shoulder at Alex, grinning. "I don't think seat belts are made for people with wings… it keeps rubbing."
“Lots of humans have dogs, they’re like a companion or a comfort animal,” Alex explained, “I will think about getting a dog but that means you’ll have to walk it, clean up after it, train it and so on since I’m at work a lot. And you forget that humans don’t have wings, kitten. No, you can’t take your seatbelt off to help, I don’t want you hurt.”
"Yay, puppies!" Beau tried to keep himself from squealing. (Oh yeah, when Alex asked him about himself he forgot to say that he really likes dogs lol) "I promise I'd take good care of it!" The seatbelt is still rubbing, though. He shifted his wings a bit in an attempt to make the seatbelt less uncomfortable.
“You better. We’re nearly there now, then the seatbelt won’t run anymore,” Alex sighed a little, speeding up slightly.
(Does Alex have wings or horns or anything that show he's a demon?)
"Okay! I'm excited!" Beau smiled again and put his hands on his knees, continuing to watch out the window. In the two additional minutes it took to get to the coffee shop, he had pointed out five squirrels, three birds, a butterfly, and a motorcycle. "There's so many weird things on earth, huh?"
(Uh… he has horns but he can hide them so he looks more human)
Alex hummed his agreement and pulled into a car park, pulling into a free space, “Yes there is.” He unbuckled his seat belt, “Here we are.”
(Aight)
"Yeah! Let's go!" Beau opened his door and first tried to get out of the car with his seat belt still on. Dammit I'm stuck in the car. He tugged on it for a second, seemingly having forgotten how to undo it. "Uh… Alex I think I'm stuck."
(Alex: Do you are have stupid)
Alex looked over and shook his head with a smile. He reached over and undid Beau’s seatbelt, “There you are, now you can get out.”
"What? How'd you do that?" Beau was confused, and he examined the seat belt with a look of distrust. "Weird… um… w-well anyways, coffee!" He got out of the car and took Alex's hand.
Alex laughed, giving Beau’s hand a small squeeze, “You can’t learn how to drive if you don’t know how a seatbelt works, you know.”
"I-I'll figure it out… I'm just not used to this sort of thing." Beau walked into the coffee shop, which was pretty barren, and ordered his coffee. (I gtg shower but I'll try to be back soon)
(Okie dokie)
Alex ordered a tea for himself and payed for both drinks. He couldn’t shake the feeling they were being watched, but he just assumed it was paranoia then anything. His hand tightened a little on Beau’s hand.
(Oof I'm back)
"Hmm?" Beau looked up at Alex when his hand was squeezed, but didn't really say anything. He looked around to see what could be bothering Alex, and he spotted a demon staring him down from across the room. His heart quickened and he tried to get Alex's attention. The demon looked almost as though he wanted to hurt Beau.
