(Hey sorry I disappeared for a moment, went through a bad break up…)
Lucifer inclined his head for then to follow. Alex kept Beau impossibly close to him, on edge and alert.
(No problem. Hope you're okay <33)
Beau kept letting Alex lead him, but the further they went, the worse he felt. He was trembling and hot, and his wings were just limp behind him. He supposed he wasn't surprised that angels didn't do well in hell.
(Thanks x)
"We'll be somewhere cooler soon, I promise." Alex mumbled. The castle was in view now and it wouldn't take long to walk there. I was kind of creepy who different the temperatures were but for once he was glad of it.
Beau nodded weakly, holding tightly to Alex's hand while they walked.
Soon enough, they were inside the castle and the change in temperature was drastic. It wasn't boiling hot, but a nice, cool temperature that would be tolerable for everyone.
Beau breathed a sigh of relief, but he didn't move away from Alex. He did seem to perk up slightly, though.
The deeper they moved into the castle, it got slightly colder but not by much. Eventually, they made it to Lucifer’s office.
Beau was still clutching Alex's hand when they reached the office, seeming a buy dizzy, but otherwise okay. "Did… did we make it?"
Lucifer nodded, “There’s a room next door where you two will stay.”
"Thank you, sir…" Beau glanced around, running his fingers through his hair.
Alex tugged on Beau a little, “Come on.” He said gently, leading him towards the room.
Beau let Alex drag him away, trying to keep his wings from dragging on the ground to the best of his ability.
