Alex knew he didn't need a job. He didn't have to go out and find one as it all felt too… human to him but he'd gone and done it anyway. In same ways because he wanted to and others to just relieve his boredom during the day and so he didn't kidnap anyone else. What he didn't expect was the late hours he sometimes had to work, dealing with idiots at work so he often came home grumpy and exhausted. Tonight was no exception. He pushed the key in the lick and opened the door to the house, dropping his bag and taking his shoes off a second later with a sigh. All he wanted to do was go to bed, even though he had barely eaten all day.

Beau woke up when he heard Alex come into the house (he lives here now lol and he was just sleeping on the couch waiting for Alex to return) and grinned. He snuck up behind him and wrapped his arms around Alex's neck. "Hey, Al! Welcome back! You were out late today…" Beau yawned, leaning more against Alex. "Reaaaally late… what time even is it? Like… midnight…? I'm exhausted…" Beau didn't have a job, but he did like to wander through the town and do things around Alex's house, like cleaning. Damn demon never cleaned anything.

The demon turned around and wrapped his arms around Beau, burying his face in the crook of his neck with a soft sigh, "You should be sleeping…" He muttered, bringing the angel almost impossibly closer to his body, "I'm sorry if I woke you, I didn't expect to be back so late." He tried to keep the exhaustion out of his voice but it was obvious how tired he actually was.

"Mmm…" Beau closed his eyes and soon, his full weight (which really isn't that much bc he weighs less than humans. Hollow bones for flight purposes and stuff) was upon Alex. His breathing was slow and relaxed, which made it evident that he had fallen asleep. His wings hung loosely on his back, and his arms were still around Alex's neck. (He's a light sleeper tho so he'll wake up)

Alex couldn't help but smile, pressing a light kiss to the top of Beau's head, "Guess I'm carrying you then." He gently picked Beau up wrapping beau's legs around his waist as he carried the angle to the bedroom. He placed him gently on the bed before stripping himself of his work clothes.

"Nngh… I must've fallen asleep…" Beau slowly opened his eyes after a few seconds of being on the bed and saw Alex taking his clothes off. His face flushed and he tried to look away, but he kept wanting to look back. He sat up and rubbed his temples, as he was getting a headache from exhaustion.

Alex looked over his shoulder and smirked a little, "Yeah, gave me the opportunity to carry you though so I'm not complaining," He shrugged, taking off his boxers and replacing them with a clean pair and a pair of sweatpants, "Why are you sitting up and not lying down?"

"Um… b-because I woke up…? You know, I'm more likely to fall asleep again if I'm laying down, and I'd like to hear how your day was." Beau yawned again, rubbing at his eyes. I'm gonna have eye bags tomorrow… but it's worth it. "It's really hot in here…" His face was still flushed, and he took his sweater off. He was wearing a simple blue t shirt underneath.

"It's really not that hot," Alex stretched his back out, the muscles flexing before he crawled on the bed and slipped under the covers. He pulled Beau close to him, "My day was boring, as per usual. Though there were more idiots then normal which made me feel like I was back in Hell but hey, I made it all day without killing anyway because I knew how upset you'd be…"

"Aww, you care." Beau smirked, laying his head against Alex's chest. "I've heard the term 'Hell on earth' before, so maybe that's it. I didn't do anything interesting. I just… cleaned some stuff…: He yawned again, fighting to keep his eyes open. He wrapped his arms around Alex and sighed, relaxing more. I'm really tired…

Alex smiled a little, snuggling into the bed a bit more and tangling his legs with Beau's, "Maybe it is, and if it's not I don't want to find out what it is," He ran his hands through the angel's hair softly. Cute… "Sleep, you need it." He said quietly.

"Nngh… but I wanna… stay awake… with youuuu…." Beau finally gave in and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep. He moved even closer to Alex in his sleep, seemingly cold now despite the fact that he'd felt hot a minute ago. His hair was fluffier than usual due to him having showered that morning, so it was clean.

"Goodnight, cutie, we'll talk in the morning." Alex kissed Beau's forehead, continuing to run his hand though his hair softly, staying awake for a little while longer before exhaustion finally caught up with him. The demon kept Beau in his arms tightly all night, not once letting go.

Beau woke up to find Alex's arms wrapped around him. He smiled softly and held onto Alex as well. "Hey… wake up. I think it's morning." He yawned and shook Alex a bit. They hadn't slept in the same bed before, so he wasn't sure how deep of a sleeper the demon was.

Now, not only was Alex a deep sleeper, the exhaustion had finally caught up to him and he was catching up on some much needed hours. His hair was a mess, lips parted slightly but when Beau shook him he groaned a little and nuzzled his face into the crook of Beau's neck, still fast asleep.

A chill went up Beau's spine when Alex touched his neck and he shivered, but he shook it off so he could keep trying to wake him up. "Alex! Hello? You in there?" Beau sighed. How the hell am I supposed to get him up? He thought for a moment before something seemed to click in his eyes, his cheeks turning red. Well, here's something I haven't tried before… He hesitated for a moment before kissing Alex. Maybe that'll wake him up… (Also this is assuming they haven't kissed before)

It took a moment, but soon Alex's eye fluttered open. What the… To say he was surprised was and understatement but he didn't pull away or push Beau away. Instead, he kissed back., resting a hand on Beau's hips to tug himself closer and deepen the kiss.

Hey, it worked! Guess I'm not a total retard all the time! Beau wrapped his arms around Alex's neck again. He remembered that he'd kissed someone years back, but this was definitely his first time in a good while, so he wasn't super sure what he was doing. Since Alex had woken up, Beau just decided to sort of let Alex take the lead.
