"Goodnight…" He mumbled a little, falling quiet. It was only a matter of minutes until Phoenix slipped off as well. Though his hold on her was the same. Firm and protective, as if he was scared to let go.

Cicada was awake for a few more moments before she finally started to feel her consciousness slip. She tried to hold onto it a little bit longer, but it was hard too and she ended up falling asleep.

When the sun rose the next morning, Phoenix woke up with a groan. He felt completely sick. Rubbing at his eyes, he started to wake up enough that his senses were picking up. And slowly, he realized he had his arms wrapped around a second figure lying next to him. “H-huh?” He pulled back in confusion, and his brows shot up. When he saw Cicada’s face, his own was growing incredibly red. “C-Cicada?”

@ShadeStar

Cicada flinched a little as she heard Phoenix. Her head was pounding and she felt a little sick. What the… What the fuck happened last night? She let her eyes open slowly blinking as the sunlight flooded her eyes, though it didn't. Instead, she saw clothes… Shit. She looked up to see Phoenix and let out a sigh of relief, "Phoenix? Can you be quiet? I've got a headache."

"I- sorry…" Phoenix whispered, his face still incredibly red. Slowly he started to get off the bed, and felt a wave of dizziness rush over him. He couldn't keep standing, and fell back onto the bed. Groaning, he gripped at the sheets to try and steady himself. "Why is the room spinning?" He muttered, shutting his eyes tightly.

@ShadeStar

Cicada hissed a little as the light finally hit her eyes. She had to shut them for moment before she sat up trying to lessen the light using her hand. She ended up getting the same reaction and reached for Phoenix because he had successfully sat up, something Cicada couldn't do, "Probably because you're hungover. What happened last night anyway? Well, better question, how much do you remember?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"I'm never drinking again…" He muttered, hearing a throbbing echo in his ears. He barely heard what Cicada has said, but wasn't in much of a state to think about it. Yet he tried anyways. "We… we were playing a board game… we both got bored…" He mumbled, trying to pick up the story. "So- we played a different game. I don't really remember what it was exactly. We were drinking- and everything is a little fuzzy after that…"

@ShadeStar

"I think, I think it was Never-Have-I-Ever," Cicada replied barely. She tried to rack her head and let out a long sigh leaning against him cause again, he was sitting up fine and she was struggling. How much had she drunk last night anyways? "Fuck I was really hoping not to forget everything in the morning. Guess that didn't happen."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Give it a couple of hours. Maybe when we aren't feeling so crappy." Phoenix mumbled a little, loosing his voice when she started leaning against him. Why was she so touchy all of a sudden? His heart beat a little faster, and he started to fidget with his clothes. He put his thoughts onto trying to remember last night, and slowly pieced together how their game went.

@ShadeStar

"Yeah, want to just hang out here until then?" Cicada offered him still holding onto Phoenix. She started to realize that maybe she shouldn't be holding onto him. She stayed close to him as she looked down still leaning on him, "Sorry for, uh, leaning on you. Can't, um, sit up easily at the moment."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"It's fine…" Phoenix replied in a whisper that was barely audible. Sucking in a deep breath, he glanced over at her. "And yeah… I don't think I could walk back anyways." He mumbled before gently resting his head against hers. The room was still spinning quite a bit, and he felt like utter trash. It was a surprise he hadn't gotten up to throw up yet, considering how awful his stomach felt.

@ShadeStar

"Okay, we, we should probably grab a trash can. In case we, well, you throw up," Cicada told him softly. She didn't want to speak very loudly given both of them being very much hungover. Loud sounds were only going to make their hangovers worse, "I don't feel super sick cause I've had alcohol before, but you. This is your first time right? We're going to need a trashcan."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

Sighing weakly, Phoenix started to push up off the bed to make his way to the bathroom. "Not my first time, but it's been years." He mumbled, leaning against the frame of the bathroom. "I might just sit here for a bit, honestly." He added on, starting to slide down onto the floor. If he felt like throwing up, he could just scoot over a few feet, and he'd could do so without having her need to clean anything up.

@ShadeStar

"That's fine," Cicada laid back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. She let one of her arms rest over her eyes so the sun wasn't bothering her so much. She let out a long sigh as she took a deep breath in and out, "Probably better anyway. Less for me to clean up later."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"That's what I thought." Phoenix said softly, feeling his eyes fall closed. He was honestly so weak and tired. Though he wasn't going back to sleep. He didn't really think he could. "How long does this normally last? And why didn't you tell me it was so awful?"

@ShadeStar

"It normally lasts a morning, or a day, depends on how much we drank," Cicada told him as she slowly tried to adjust to light coming through her window. She glanced over at him and gave him a little grin, "Aaand if I told you how bad it was you probably wouldn't have agreed to drinking right?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Mm, yeah… you're probably right." Phoenix mumbled, glancing over to her with a tired expression. "At least I wouldn't be feeling like this. I'm wishing I had been a wimp, and not drank." Admitting that, he tipped his head back so it was leaning on the frame. "But the past is in the past. Can't change it now."

@ShadeStar

"Nope," Cicada eventually managed to pull herself off the bed. She winced a little as she made her way over to the sink with a pair of cups. After a moment she offered Phoenix a glass of water, "But this will help with the hangover."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

Taking it from her, he gave a light smile before sipping from the glass. The room was still spinning some so it was a little difficult to keep his eyes on her face. "You don't remember anything that happened last night?" Phoenix asked softly, setting his glass aside.

@ShadeStar

Cicada ended up sitting down close to him as she drank from her own cup of water. She let out a little sigh as she thought, “I remember playing LIFE and then getting bored so we started playing Never-Have-I-Ever. The last thing I remember from last night was finishing up the whiskey bottle and starting to pour vodka shots instead.”

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Right… and things started to get weird. I don't remember what happened, but I know something must have." Phoenix whispered a little, trying to think. "We woke up snuggled together. I don't know what that was about." Clicking his tongue a little, he reached over and picked his glass up once more.
