"Of course I am. I really do like you, and want the best for you. So… if things aren't working for you, tell me. I'll be alright if we can't keep going." Phoenix told her in a soft tone. He seemed genuine, and was trying to keep up a smile. Even if his head was killing him.
"Okay," Cicada gave him a soft smile in return even if it hurt her head a little. Stupid hangover. She nuzzled against him lightly with her soft smile, "And, and if things don't work for you tell me as well okay?"
"I'll do that, Cicada." Phoenix mumbled a little, leaning against her. With closed eyes, his head wasn't hurting as badly, since the light was blocked out. "Is there anything that helps a hangover? I'd be enjoying this much more if I didn't feel like throwing up."
"Water, sleep, McDonald's sometimes," Cicada told him speaking softly. She understood he wasn't doing well with the hangover. Even though she was doing similar but she was handling it better since this wasn't her first time.
"Food sounds repulsing right now, actually." Phoenix mumbled, meaning his exaggeration. The thought made his stomach turn, so he assumed he wouldn't actually be able to eat it. The best he could do was just drink water and sleep.
"Hah, thought so," Cicada let out a little laugh. He wouldn't be in the bathroom if food was a good idea. She hummed a little as she thought, "If you're feeling alright then maybe we should go to the bed so you can nap."
"Can wait a couple minutes? If I can get up, then we can totally nap. I'm just feeling kind of sick." Phoenix admitted, reaching for his water. Slowly he began to sip from it as he waited for her reply.
Cicada looked up at him before going to drink from her own glass of water. She understood the feeling, "Yeah we can wait as long as you need. There's no hurry ya know?"
"Right. I should be fine in a few minutes, though." Phoenix hummed, before draining off his glass. Setting it aside he started leaning into her with a soft sigh. "What until then?"
"We could just sit here?" Cicada offered to him as she sipped from her glass of water. It was still decently full since she hadn't drunk much, "It's just an offer."
"Fine by me… I just didn't know if you'd wanna talk about something specific." Phoenix shrugged lightly, glancing down to her. He kept up a light smile as he looked over to her.
"I mean, unless you have something you want to talk about I don't," Cicada told him with a light shrug. She mirrored his smile before leaning up against him again.
"No, not really. I just didn't want to bore you, while sitting here." Phoenix shrugged back. Gently he rested his head against hers with a little sigh. "I feel like I tend to do that."
"You don't," Cicada responded quickly. She looked over at him and kissed his forehead softly before looking at him, "Promise. I enjoy spending time with you even if it's just sitting here."
"You sure? I know I'm not the most interesting person in the world." Phoenix insisted with a soft look. When she had kissed him, his cheeks had flushed some, but he seemed relaxed.
"I'm positive. I'm more than interesting for the both of us," Cicada replied softly with a little smirk on. She ruffled his hair gently as she kept smiling on him.
Phoenix laughed, sounding more like a giggle than anything. "That's true. Maybe you should give me some of your interesting-ness." He hummed lightly, gently kissing her cheek.
Cicada laughed as he kissed her cheek relaxing at the touch. She hummed a little in mock thought before giggling, "Nope, because then I wouldn't be as interesting and frankly, I like being interesting as I am."
"Mmm, but I wanna be interesting tooooo~" Phoenix whined a little, pouting at her. Slowly he gently nuzzled up against her with a soft sigh. "It's not fair…"
"But you are interesting, just in different ways," Cicada told him softly running her fingers through his hair again. She had a soft smile on as she looked at him, "It's just I'm more interesting in the way society wants me to be."
"Isn't that the only way that really matters, though?" Phoenix asked softly, humming a little when she ran her finger through his hair. It felt nice to him. "Or is there a secret thing that matters more?"
"I guess there's a secret thing," Cicada shrugged a little as she continued to run her fingers through her hair. She hummed a little with a smile, "As long as you think your interesting nothing else matters. Society can fuck itself anyway."
"Mm, I really don't, though." Phoenix mumbled leaning his head against the wall. "Should we go lie down on the bed? Or just stay here?" He asked, starting to feel himself nod off a little.
"Let's go to the bed, it'll be more comfortable for you," Cicada told him softly going to stand up offering him a hand. She would carry him to the bed if he wanted to, "I can shut the blinds if you want me too."
"That would be greatly appreciated." Phoenix told her, barely making it on to his feet. Once steady, he slowly made it over to the bed before sitting down on the edge. "Can we cuddle?"
