"I only have two eyes. I'd only have three if I was wearing a fuckin' monocle or something." Cas refused to look over at Grey.
"I only have two eyes. I'd only have three if I was wearing a fuckin' monocle or something." Cas refused to look over at Grey.
“Such a spoil sport,” Grey sighed, shaking his head, “You're no fun sometimes, I hope you know that.”
"Mhmm." Cas leaned his head against the window with a sigh. "Apparently I can only have fun when I'm breaking the law."
"I can tell," He mumbled, "It's not exactly a good habit to have. Eventually you'll end up being charged for something you can't get bailed out of."
"Yeah, I know…" Cas fidgeted a bit. "I can't always help it, though… I don't exactly have a lot of self control."
"I know, Cas, I know," Grey sighed, "It's something that can be worked on if one day it gets you into too much trouble. And hey, I'll always be here for you mate."
Cas nodded, biting his lip and looking out the window. "Thanks, Gray… I… um… it means a lot."
Grey offered a smile, "Don't mention it. Seriously, if you ever need anything I'm here for you."
Cas nodded again and smiled weakly in return. He fidgeted nervously as he looked back out the window. "Sorry for being such a mess all the time."
"Been there, done that, still am there. I get it, life is hard, sometimes being a mess is necessary for personal growth." Grey shrugged a shoulder, pulling into the parking complex of the apartment building.
"I guess so…" Cas unbuckled himself and got out of the car with a soft sigh. He stayed close to Grey as they walked into the apartment building.
"Trust me, Cas, if only on this one thing." Grey led them into the lift and up to the apartment, pulling his keys out his pocket. He didn't mind the other staying close to him as he unlocked the door and held it open for Cas.
Cas nodded a bit and headed into their apartment once the door was open. "Alright, alright… I'll try my best, Grey."
Grey sighed softly and nodded, “I know you will.” He replied, shutting and locking the door behind them.
Cas flopped down on the couch once they were inside and sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "Mm… I'm gonna be sore tomorrow, huh?"
Grey chuckled softly, “For sure, need any ice or anything?” He asked, a flicker of concern clouding his features.
"Not yet. I'll probably just take a hot shower tonight and hope for the best… Tylenol or some shit would be nice, though."
“Tylenol it is then.” Grey headed into the kitchen, humming softly as he grabbed the desired painkillers and a glass of water.
"Thanks, Grey." Cas accepted the water and pills from Grey and swallowed them together, wincing a bit after he did so.
“No problem, you sure you don’t need anything else while I’m up?” He asked again, wanting to make sure Cas would be okay.
"Nah, I'll be alright." Cas sighed. "Thanks. See you in the morning, Grey. I'll make breakfast. Probably just cereal, but hey. I try my best."
Grey chuckled, giving Cas a mock salute before heading towards his room, “Try not to burn the place down if you can. Night.”
"I'll try. G'night, Grey." Cas waved and sighed as he huddled up on the couch. Once the meds kicked in, he planned on showering.
While Cas was still on the couch, Grey had a quick shower himself. He had a little school work to do but it wouldn't take long before bed.
After Grey showered, Cas got up off the couch and headed in to do the same. He soon finished and headed off to bed.
