“I don’t mean like that.” Az whispers, shaking his head.

Az shakes his head, “It’s nothing.”

"Please … im worried…"

“It’s fine, okay, Ty?”

"Promise?"

“I promise.”

"Thank you… and… thank you for keeping Trick from hurting anyone…I know he hates it…but … I wouldnt survive if we got caught… you know?" Tyler fidgets.

Az nods, “I know.” He murmurs.

Tyler rests his head against Carmens, "im scared"

“About what?” He murmurs.

"That hell do it again, and get caught…"

Az sighs, quiet.

Tyler takes a shaky breath, "I … I have always been scared"

Az looks at him, and then reaches up, brushing his hand over his face, “It’s okay.”

Tyler shakes his head softly, "it will happen…it has to…the … hes killed a lot"

“I know. . .” Az murmurs.

"I dont think ill ever be ready" he said sadly, tears filling his eyes

Az looks at him, “I’m sorry. . .” He whispers, kissing his cheeks.

"Why?" He takes a shaky breath

Tyler sighs, "theres nothing you can do Carmen"

Az sighs softly, kissing his cheek.

Tyler hugs Carmen tightly.
