@Tired-but-passionate
(Haha tbh idk where I wanna take Alister and Noel either)
(Haha tbh idk where I wanna take Alister and Noel either)
(Well, what did you have in mind?)
(i could stick to the classic winter soldier oh he wont go back to normal unless you knock him out or i could split from that and say that the tears were enough to make her question herself and then internal conflict)
(Ooooooooh ahhhh idk about that either XD)
(yeah)
Alister pulled away, suddenly mortified. “Ahhhh, what was I thinking? You’re the one who got slapped! Are you alright? Does it still hurt?”
He gently caressed Evan’s cheek, staring at him and searching his face.
(Flip a coin?)
he blushed a little at the gentle caress, "No it doesn't still hurt I'm alright Ali."
(Heads is classic winter soldier, tails is inner conflict?)
(i dont have a coin with meee, i'll flip an online one)
(okay i flipped fifteen times and still dont know)
He blinked, blushing at being called Ali. He lowered his hand, avoiding eye contact as he spoke. “O-okay, I’m glad. We should… probably find El. See if she’s cooled off.”
Arabelle stood outside the door to the inn, her heart pounding. She’d done this a thousand times. Why now was she feeling so tense?
A shadow passed underneath the crack of the door. Arabelle braced herself. The door opened, and a large shape towered over her.
”Collins 0721, Red Serpent Inn.”
The words sounded both like a deep growl and grating metal. Eleven eyes peered down at the woman’s form, attached to a dinosaur-like head.
“Affirmative.” She tried to keep her voice from shaking.
”Any humans of criminal, escapee, or experimentation status?”
“Negative.”
Eleven eyes blinked. ”Permission to search the premises?”
It wasn’t really a question. Before Arabelle could get a word in edgewise, the alien stormed in, a few others following behind them.
(lol bet can i have my shadow girl be with them?)
he blushed a little at the gentle caress, "No it doesn't still hurt I'm alright Ali."
"Wait," he grabbed Alister's wrist, "They're here." He pulled him down surprisingly strong.
(Uhhhhhhhh depends on who your shadow girl works for. She seems pretty powerful, so it’s possible even the Extraterrestrial Forces would take her in, but she probably wouldn’t be going around with curfew duties. They wouldn’t let her get that far.)
“Move, people. You’re blocking the door.” Duchess walked over before Alister could respond.
Duchess looked nothing like the other rebels. She had dark blue hair held up in space buns, and glinting jade green eyes. Freckles spattered her face, and her lips were pulled into a constant smirk. She held a small glass of gin in one hand. But the most striking thing of all was that she was wearing jewelry. Silver stars hung on her ears, and three silver earrings pierced her right upper helix. She wore a lip ring and a silver chain on her wrist. Jewelry and piercings were a luxury a very few had. She wasn’t just the bartender, either, but also the one who searched newcomers for weapons or communication devices. She checked most of the ‘6 rebels when they arrived at the inn.
She moved past the others, and closed and locked the door to the basement. “Nice ears,” she commented to Trenton. She looked over them all. “Now step away from the door, please.”
(Also pls I’m sorry but you gotta make a decision-)

Trent quickly got out of the way looking up to see who asked him and then she complimented him and he got a bit flustered, at the compliment before moving away from the door and taking evans wheelchair away from it.
"Thanks." he smiled at her.
Evan smirked a tad.
(okay wait, if kali and malachi were soulmates wouldnt when kali beat the crap out of him flowers?? or do we not want them to be soulmates ?)
(Ehhhhhh I didn’t really plan on them being soulmates)
(Besides, she didn’t grow flowers from all the other times he was injured. It would make it inconsistent)
She simply nodded. Alister moved with with others, out of her way. He was a tad intimidated by Duchess, if he was being honest.
She paused for a moment. “Ah, I should probably tell you guys. Not you,” she looked askance at Alister, who looked away nervously. “I don’t like you. So if you don’t mind.”
She twirled her finger, indicating he should turn away and give them privacy. He did so, slightly annoyed. People keep keeping secrets from him! He didn’t like not knowing.
Duchess turned to Evan and Trenton once she was satisfied, lowering her voice.
“Sorry about Arabelle’s little outburst from before. I think she’s more worried about the search party. They haven’t come back yet. And well, since August- you know her, right? She’s definitely worried about her.” She took a swig of gin. “They’re soulmates too, y’know.”
“Please, don’t go up there. There are humans taking shelter there, and they have nothing to hide.”
Arabelle pleaded her case as the EF officer started toward the stairs. The aliens had already searched the eating area and the kitchens, not hesitating to knock down a thing or two.
Xe scoffed. ”I’m sorry, we meant search the entire premises.”
Shoving her aside, the alien made xir way up the stairs. It was only a few moments before Arabelle could hear yells protest, then grunts of pain or discomfort. She cringed, praying to high heaven that they wouldn’t find the other set of stairs…
She hated how she could still feel what she now knew were irises still growing on her shoulder. She hoped none of the others noticed.

(yeah i was thinking about that)

Evan nodded along with the conversation glancing back at Alister at the mention of soulmates before turning back. "Yeah, it's okay we probably shouldn't have been yelling anyway."
Trent sighed, "Yeah, i could tell the storm would only get worse and kinda wish that they didn't send out."
He put a hand to his neck noticing Evan turning to look at Alister before looking back.
Ginger boy was around downstairs just sitting on his lonesome.
She showed no shock or suprise to his dodge simply going immediately into another attack kicking at his back before voiding in front of him and gathering darkness in her hand like a hamehamehaaaaaa move throwing it at him, before voiding grabbing his shirt and staring at him and voiding up the the tree and throwing him down at the ground and delivering a knee to his chest or back depending on how he fell.
At that moment, a large shape launched out of the bushes and slammed into Arden. A white paw the size of a dinner plate pinned her to the ground. A deep, throaty growl echoed through the trees.
The creature stood over the girl, her growl fading. Her expressionless face was wet with tears. You don’t feel familiar anymore…The moment Malachi hit the ground, he blacked out. He lay still, unable to move. His skin took on a strange texture, as if hardening. Even as crimson poured from his head, nose, and lips, he became indestructible.
she noticed the shape in the corner of her eye before it slammed into her knocking th wind out of her lungs for a little bit while she was pinned to the ground and she looked up at the creature, feeling the tears dripping down onto her face and then hearing the speech and her eyebrows creased, she started to collect darkness in her hand she looked over and noticed Malachi on the ground and felt hot tears run down her cheeks, distracting her enough for darknes beam to only graze the side of beast but still apply a lot of force and pain to it.
(Wait, is Keegan with Arabelle and the EF?)
(well i had the idea that he has reptilian eyes and can breath under water so like experimentee, but i can say that lik hes the buss boy for inn so he has to be there with her?)
