"Yes we're almost to city and hey not everyone can run forever ya know." He chuckled a bit at the lavender wig infront of his face, awwing a little bit before fixing it up with one of his hands. "There."

Marius huffed indignantly when Tristian cooed at him and touched his face, obviously annoyed. At least we'll be there soon. Then we can blend in.

"Yeah, and i can check in with people in the village that i know that won't give me or you away."
He nodded in agreement, "Hey your wig was messed up i just fixed it."

We'll want to interact with as few people as we can. I think the best course of action is to get out of town as soon as possible. Marius looked over his shoulder, humming uneasily.

"I suppose that could be true, but just a few people won't hurt right?" He looked down at marius, "Do you want me to set you down now since we're just walking or are you enjoying being carried?"

Put me down. He replied, pulling away a bit so that he could get down easier. What do you plan on saying to these people, anyway?

He chuckled setting him down, "Alright your highness." He stretched out his arms. "i wanna see how they are and what they could offer to help us out"

Marius rolled his eyes and huffed, crossing his arms as he followed Tristian along. Make it quick, then. We don't have time for idle chit-chat.

"Yeah well i want to make sure my people are doing well even if I am leaving, i still care for there wellbeing and think of them close."

Marius sighed and kept walking. Yeah, yeah. We don't want to get ratted out, though. I don't want to be recognized.

"They won't rat us out, you think this is the only time i have snuck out in the past? The people i visit are as loyal as they come." He seemed very confident, but did he not.

Well, I'm not going to try and speak to them at all. Most of my species aren't proficient enough with magic to speak telepathically, so it would be suspicious. Marius kept close to Tristian, still seeming pretty annoyed. You'll need a good excuse.

"Right well no one said you had to speak to them." He shrugged, but stayed near Marius so he didn't walk to fast. ."Excuse?"

For your friends or whatever. You'll probably need to explain why I'm following you around and not speaking. It isn't exactly common for my kind to be mute. He glanced around uneasily, picking up the pace to keep up with Tristian's longer legs.

"Ohhhh Yeah, your right you right. I'm sure I'll think of a good one by the time we get there."he grinned smiling as they got closer.

Wonderful. It doesn't need to be anything fancy. Just believable. Marius narrowed his eyes a bit as he walked into the town, still uneasy.

"Oh yeah i totally get what your saying." He winked at Marius, heh.
He walked into the town with confident strides and bright friendly smiles waving at everyone who waved at him.

Marius stayed close to Tristian, obviously uncomfortable here. He kept completely silent (not that he had much of a choice) and wandered alongside the other prince.

He put an arm across marius shoulder, whispering to him. "stay calm, don't fight it. A lot of people are less likely to talk to you if your with me rather then on your own trust me."

Marius rolled his eyes and shrugged off Tristian's arm. I'm perfectly calm. I just don't like it here. It's filthy and crowded.

"It's not so bad, i think your being overdramatic." He chuckled slightly, waving at people. He pouted a bit when he shrugged off his arm. "Sorry i was just trying to help."

I don't like it here. Marius repeated, crossing his arms and turning his ears back as he looked around warily. Just do what you need to do so we can get out of here.

"Sure Mr grumpy" he huffed, walking a little bit faster paced heading towards a tavern.
