"Yeah, well it's a big deal to me." He huffed at him, before just listening to him talking and nodding on to what he was saying as he walked along the path.

It's fine… I'm used to it by now. My parents never really wanted to deal with me. They just wanted my problems to work themselves out so I could be king, I guess. Marius sighed. Never really favored myself in a position of power, though.

"They sound like terrible parents, like jeez." He huffed, letting out a sigh and passing a glance to the bag strapped to his side that he got in the tavern earlier.

Marius shrugged again. That kind of thing isn't really uncommon. Especially amongst royalty. People aren't supposed to know we have issues. He kept walking, looking a little bit tired from the pace.

"Well, yeah…your right, my dad would probably do anything to get his hands on me and seize me down to the throne, he hates when I do stuff like this.." he sighed putting a hand to his neck and looking down.

Yeah, I'm sure he's not pleased with you running off like this all the time. I guess you don't typically have much of a plan, do you? He asked. You kinda just run off.

"Not really, i just want to get away so badly i just, run. He's never pleased with me otherwise though, he doesn't really like me in general." He sighed, looking away.

Marius nodded a bit. I don't interact with my parents much. They just leave me to do my own thing, or to do whatever they've asked me to do. It could be worse, honestly.

"Yeah, i get that. My parents are always onto me about rulling the kingdom and that i cant always do what I want and picking a bride to wed."

Right. I never really saw the benefit of marrying off your kids to some random other kid off the opposite gender as soon as they turn eighteen. Marius sighed and looked around, hoping the town was close.

"Yeah if i ever got married…i would want it to be for love, and not for some arranged marriage…they haven't found someone for me yet luckily, but that's bc almost every kingdom knows about the runaway prince and doesnt want to wed a bride to someone who might leave them the day after the wedding."

Yeah, that makes sense. My parents keep holding balls and stuff to try and find a suitor for me. I haven't been able to find a good way to tell them that I… well… don't like women.

"Oh..that is a difficult subject to talk about indeed." He put a hand under his chin in thought before just looking ahead as they walked.
"I just haven't yet found a person i really want to be with."

Yeah… I'm not super interested in romance. Although that could be because the only prospects for romance that have been offered are with women, and that doesn't sound great to me. I'm more interested in the stars at the moment.
