Marius huffed again and turned away to switch out his mask, not wanting Tristian to see the scars on his mouth. Once it was on, he turned back, his hands on his hips. There. That should be fine. Now I resemble one of the peasants, yes? There's enough of my species here to not be suspicious.
(I drew him in disguise because I can >:D)
"Yes! You look great~ Now, before we do anything else, i don't think i actually know your name."
He chuckled a bit, moving to take off his shirt showing off his well structured chest area.
He reached for another shirt to put it on, pausing for a little bit to wait for an answer, before pulling it over his head and getting stuck half way and falling on top of Marius,
"oops-"
Marius. Prince Marius. He replied, adjusting the sleeves of his oversized shirt as he watched Tristian. He staggered and fell to the floor as Tristian fell onto him, grimacing and trying to push him off. Get off of me, you oaf! You're crushing me!
"I'm tristian!" He chuckled a bit as he tried to get off of Marius when really he was just flopping around on top of him, the pushes did help and he fell out of the carriage onto the ground,
He chuckled a bit before wincing, "ouch.."
Marius got up off of the floor as well and huffed, looking off to the side. We should get going if you're not interested in getting caught up with. I'm sure it won't take them very long to find the carriage. He opened the door and carefully stepped out, not wanting to fall.
He got up from the ground, struggling to get the shirt on all the way before being able to pull it down he messed with his hair, tying it up into a pony tail adjusting his red bangs.
If marius would look over at him he could see the heterochromia in his eyes, before he reached for a hair extension, one colored mint green and attaching it to where it was covering one of his eyes and he made it look natural.
"okay, ready."
Where are we going? Marius asked, fiddling with his shirt again as he walked. It would probably be easiest to skip town if we're looking to avoid being caught. They wouldn't expect me to leave. I've never left the town in my life. Hell, I hardly leave the castle.
"Alright Well they would definitely expect me to leave town, but if they wouldn't expect you to then i suppose we should skip to the next town over. Should we take the carriage or should we just ditch it?"
He stretched his legs and arms out, looking look normal town folk.
Whichever. If we leave the carriage, it will be harder to travel, but then they also couldn't track it. If we go on foot, it'll be harder to identify us. He started walking along at Tristian's side, looking around warily.
"Well then leave the carriage it is, hmmm should we burn it or just leave it behind the tarp? If they find the disguise in it, then they might think to look for something different then what we normally look like."
He looked at marius as they walked away from the carriage.
I suppose burning it would work. Marius sighed softly and formed a small ball of fire in his palm, looking up at the carriage with his few belongings inside. Anything you want to take out before we burn it?
He jogged back over to the carriage reaching inside of the bag he brought, and shoving something into his pocket before jogging back.
"okay I'm ready."
He waited for the fire to burn the carriage, though he was amazed at the way marius held the fire.
Marius hesitated for a moment, but then stepped up to the carriage and touched his hand to the wood, watching as it began to burn. It won't take long for the flames to overcome it. We should probably get going now so we can put some distance between us and this place.
He watched as Marius set his hand on the wood and the carriage begun to burn and smolder, probably sending a lot of smoke through the trees.
"yeah, the smoke will make them come closer so we should probably get as far as we can as fast as we can."
How fast can you run? Marius asked, starting to pick up the pace himself. Even if he were going full speed, he had no chance of keeping up with Tristian, and his Stamina was pretty terrible too. His short stature and lack of exercise really wasn't helping him here.
"I can run alongside with some horses." He smiled at marius giving a thumbs up to him. "if you want i could pick you up and run. It might be faster that way."
Marius sighed softly as he considered, soon slowing to a stop and holding his arms up to Tristian, feeling painfully like a helpless child. Very well. We never speak of this.
He chuckled a bit, "Okay Then Mar Mar." He grinned at marius as he picked him up into his arms, begining to run away from the carriage very fast and marius could see the carriage getting far away from them as he ran.
Don't call me that. Marius huffed indignantly, watching as the carriage burn and fade away behind the trees and the horizon. We've never met before, have we? I don't know anything about you.
"Aww why not? It matches how cute you are~" he chuckled a little, "yeah i don't think we have met before, i would have remembered someone like you." He kept a firm grip on marius as he ran, making sure not to drop him.
I'm not cute. And I'm sure I would remember… someone like you. Marius replied, looking away in annoyance. He adjusted a little in Tristian's arms to feel more secure, not wanting to fall. Are you older than me too, or are you just absurdly tall because you're human?
"heh~ someone annoyed?~" he booped Marius, chuckling a little bit feeling him move around. "I don't know, how old are you?"
