Solmarum smiled warmly at her brother and pulled her hand away once he had finished kissing it.
"Thank you for introducing me, Brother." She bowed to her guest, smiling warmly at the King, who looked unamused and somewhat shy by how much attention he was receiving.
"Rumius, this is my sister. Solmarum, goddess of Day. Beside her is Amrus, god of Time. And this-" he gestured to the flame red god. "-is Ignisi, god of War."
Ignisi sized Rumius up with an intense look over. "Hm." He shook his head. "I thought he'd be taller being one of mine."
Amrus glanced up haughtily from one of his clocks, the metronome hand in his eyes ticking faster. He nodded slightly to the mortal.
Rumius nodded to each of the Gods the up at Ignisi when he spoke.
"What do you mean by that? I'm taller than a lot of my subjects."
"Well, you're not as tall as I had hope, mortal." Ignisi answered with a raised brow. Scronos coughed, interjecting. "To the matters at hand, my friends. Sister, please bestow you blessing upon the mortal."
Rumius opened his mouth to answer hotly before interrupted. He let his attention move to the only Goddess, who looked faintly amused with her pretty lips turned up in a grin.
"Thank you, brother. Ahh… Mortal, so young and bright. You may be under the spirit of Ignisi's bold soul, but do not let that distract you from the warmth of another. Let yourself fall into her embrace when she offers it."
"Ah….yes…" Ignisi smiled as he wrapped an arm about Solmarum, pulling her close. "She is your right hand now, there is no one more trustworthy. She is your 'brother in battle'. When you accepted that ring, you accepted her gift. She will die for you, whether it be in glory or in vain is up to you, Rumius. May you learn her, spend prolonged minutes studying who she is as you would the wisdom of your ancestors within scrolls. Connect with her, find your balance as though you train with a mighty weapon."
Solarum laughed and threw an arm around the other God's hips, telling exactly who was the man in the relationship to Rumius. The king couldn't help a faint, somewhat warm smile at it.
Amrus approached slowly, his chained clocks dragging on the pretty grass behind him. His clocked gaze was set on the king, watching the mortal smile. The mortal turned to the other God, raising his eyebrows expectantly. The God of Time didn't respond; he seemed to be studying him.
(O-ohohohohihij we should do a side story for the Gods (especially in relationships) like we did for Blue-Blood!)
((Oh! Yes! You're brilliant, Emi!))
Scronos looked to his sister and her lover, the legend was that Ignisi's very own blade of Eternal Justice was lit aflame when Solmarum touched it to the sun, an everlasting blessing for all his endeavours. In return, Ignisi had given her his heart, glady of course.
Scronos's gaze the went to Amrus, "Anything to contribute, my friend?" He asked.
Solarum had been more than happy to offer the flame to her Sun, legend had said. The gossip of the Gods said that Solarum had her eye on the God of War since they had met.
The second God seemed to have made up his mind.
"Be careful," The God said in a raspy voice, put beneath it, it sounded wise and humbling. "Be careful with the blessing she offers you. Consider how lucky you are as you lay your head next to hers. Be gentle, like a butterfly to a flower, but don't be afraid to insert yourself to her. She will welcome you as time wanes."
Scronos waited until Amrus was finished speaking before he did. "Do you accept this King Rumius? Do you accept the honor and responsibility? From now on, you're loyalty is to her and her alone. Is this what you want?"
Amrus turned away again as Rumius straightened to look st Scronos rather hotly.
"Of course I am ready to. By how you speak of her, she will be a fine companion, and I am looking forward to spending my years with her."
Solarum giggled into a hand. "He is most certainly yours, Ignisi."
Ignisi chuckled, "He most certainly is." He and Scronos said at the same time, those Scronos was less proud in his words. "Very well." He sighed. "That is all then. May return to rest." Scronos smiled a charming smile.
"And good luck."
Reene had shuffled over to the plush bed for slumber when she could no longer fight against the overwhelming feeling of exhaustion. It made everything warm and fuzzy, her body growing heavy in a unknown desire to lay down on something soft and close her eyes. She laid beside the sleeping figure of Rumius. Her master. He didn't look mean when he slept, so gentle and at peace. He looked kind. She poked at his cheek, his skin so soft, to see if he would arose with grumpiness once more. Was he truly slumbering?
Rumius looked down at his quickly fading hands, and slowly blinked, finding himself back into his warm room, being poked by a gentle, soft finger. He stirred slightly off the pillow, tiredly looking up.
"Reene? What are you doing?" His voice sounded soft and somewhat strained.
Solarum hummed when the mortal faded away, walking out of the arm of her lover and spinning, her dress gleaming a pretty orange-red. Her sleeves fluttered around her wrists, even when she finished.
"I think I will go back home," She told Ignisi, "you are free to follow me~. Good-bye, brother!" She turned to Scronos, waving to him before sauntering off, her pale, thin dress waving around her ankles.
Reene took her hand away, her eyes widening slightly. He had been asleep. "I… was curious of your emotional countenance. Will I look as peaceful and content when I slumber?" She asked.
Ignisi's eyes were alight as he watched her. He gave Scronos a knowing look and jogged after her. He scooped her into his arms and planted a kiss on her cheek. Smokey black hair fell down to shield his eyes as he looked down at Solmarum.
Rumius blinked at her slowly, setting his head back down. "I'm not sure, Reene. Perhaps you will. Sleep is very relaxing. Here, come lay down." He scooted over for her, yawning faintly.
Solarum giggled as she was scooped up into his big arms, and she flung her arms around his neck, brushing his dark hair out of his eyes with a gentle, tanned hand. Her own hair waved down below them as the wind blew through the golden-white locks, enflamed by his sword.
"Hey there, handsome," She flirted human-like, winking.
Reene obeyed, slipping under the sheets, shifting a bit on the squishy material beneath her. Soon, she found comfort and settled. She laid her head on a silky pillow as Rumius did and smiled with wide eyes.
"This is nice…very pleasant." She told him, even as her eyelids began to droop, casting shadows over her starry blue eyes.
"Solmarum, my love, my heart. You are terrible at flirting." He smirked, leaning in to plant a kiss on her forehead as she carried her out of the garden and along the Shelta Lake.
Rumius nodded and glanced at her on the same pillow. The words of his Gods rung in his ears, keeping him from moving away from the Granter beside him. He just shut his eyes, hoping in the morning he didn't wake up with her in his arms.
Solarum laughed softly into her hand, flinging it back around his neck. "I'm aware. I saw a few of my sweet little subjects doing it, and I wanted to try my hand at it." She looked out to the lake, sighing softly.
"I love the lake. It's so pretty and shimmery."
(Rumius is a dork… a cute one tho))
Soon, Reene fell into a deep sleep, a soft haze flowing over her in the chill of night. She snuggled close to Rumius, cooing in her sleep.
Ignisi laughed. "Please. My love, it will never be as beautiful as you are and it will never shimmer as your eyes do. You are a wonderful Godess." He purred. Smiling he set her down. "Shall we linger here?"
(I know 😊)
Rumius glanced at her out of his doze, slowly pulling her closer. Treat her… like something close. Like something special…
Solarum smiled warmly at him and gently swung from his neck to the ground. "Oh, my love, you are just as bad as those mortals." She sat, her beautiful body swaying somewhat in the transparent dress,
– The Next Morning
Light of bright sun shone through the palace windows, illuminating the pair as they slept. Reene awoke first, in the embrace of Rumius. She remained there in fear of waking him.
Rumius slept softly, his head turned up and towards the wall as he slept peacefully. One arm was scooped under her, the other already twitching somewhat off of her onto the bed still between them.
Reene was warm and comfortable being so close to him as wells as being consumed in sheets. Human's sleep was very pleasant, she enjoy it a lot. Slowly, she let her eyes close once more, perhaps she could continue to sleep.
A knock sounded on the door and her eyes fluttered open.
Rumius still snored lowly and softly. His hands twitched slightly, but just in a dream. He didn't stir when the knock sounded again, he just slept on peacefully, his head moved up comfortably at a weird angle.
