Samul finished as well, moving to Larkin's side to deal with his plate. He hummed, gently bumping his hip against Larkin's with a smile.
Samul finished as well, moving to Larkin's side to deal with his plate. He hummed, gently bumping his hip against Larkin's with a smile.
Larkin smiled softly and wrapped his arms around Samul's neck. "Mmm~… I love you~"
"I love you too, dear~" Samul finished with the dishes, wrapping his arms around Larkin's waist and pecking his lips lightly.
"What do you wanna do now?" He asked, looking up at Samul curiously.
"Mm… Oh, I gotta think of something…" Samul hummed to himself, thinking of what they could do.
Larkin kept his eyes on Samul's face, humming happily. "I'm happy to do whatever."
"Me too, but that doesn't quite help me come up with a plan of action," Samul said, chuckling. He kissed Larkin lightly, still thinking.
"True, true. We could… go on a jog? I dunno." Larkin laughed softly as well.
"Oh, a jog sounds good to me!" It sounded like some improvement, too, for Larkin to be willing to go out just to go out.
Larkin nodded a bit. "Should I change, or do you think it matters? Maybe we should drive out to somewhere less busy…"
"I don't think it matters, and we could go to the park if you'd want. Most people don't go on the forest paths so there should be a lot less people." Samul smiled, kissing the back of Larkin's hand.
"Yeah, I guess so… do you wanna go ahead and head out, then?"
"Mhm!" Samul hummed softly, moving to hug Larking again and kiss his forehead.
"Let's go, then." Larkin smiled weakly and returned the kiss as he headed out the door.
Samul kept by Larkin's side, humming softly.
"I love you, dear," he said.
"Love you too." Larkin held tightly to Samul's hand as he walked down the sidewalk, keeping close to the buildings.
Samuel kept close to Larkin's side as they walked, protective as he did. He would keep Larkin safe. He wasn't going to get hurt again.
Larkin kept looking around to make sure they weren't being followed, seeming very uneasy. "We're gonna be fine…"
"Yes, we are," Samul assured. He gave Larkin's hand a squeeze, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "And if you want to go home at any time, we'll turn right back around."
Larkin nodded a bit, making sure his tail and ears were covered just in case. "Y-Yeah… right. Where should we go?" He asked softly.
"The park has a wooded area with trails a lot of people don't go in." Samul hummed some, keeping close to Larkin's side. He wasn't going to let anything happen, not again.
Larkin nodded again, toying with his hat to make sure it was firmly on his head. "Alright… I guess we should head down that way, then."
Samuel nodded slightly, kissing Larkin's cheek as he started to lead them.
"I love you, sweetie."
"Love you too, Samul…" Larkin replied softly, relaxing a little once they made it to the park.
