"Cool!" Larkin looked out the window, his tail wagging as he started to see sand. "You know I'm always hungry, so I'll try everything.
"Cool!" Larkin looked out the window, his tail wagging as he started to see sand. "You know I'm always hungry, so I'll try everything.
"Perfect!" Samul laughed a bit. He pulled into the beach parking lot, turning to Larkin.
"We're here~" He said with a grin.
Larkin jumped out of the car and stripped his shirt off. "Let's go swimming, bitch!"
Samul laughed, following after.
"Just be careful!" He said, referring to the tail and ears, making sure Larkin kept them covered just in case.
"They're covered! You gonna swim too?" He asked after checking to make sure his tail was hidden well enough in his swim shorts.
"Of course!" He pulled his shirt off, tossing it into the car. He took off after Larkin, knowing he would regret it later.
Larkin grinned brightly and dashed into the water, clearly enjoying himself immensely. "Wanna float with me?"
Samul slipped into the water, nodding. He was panting a bit from the run, happily letting the water support his weight.
"I love you," he said with a smile.
"Love you too~" Larkin kissed Samul's cheek with a happy whine. "Damn, you really got to work out. You're winded after that?"
"Look-" Samul said, laughing a bit as he patted. "I– I'm good at distance- okay? But- but sprinting? No way." He kissed Larkin back, relaxing.
Larkin stuck his tongue out playfully at Samul and drifted closer to him. "You gotta come out on runs with me sometimes, love."
Samul chuckled a bit, having finally caught his breath. He twisted, wrapping his arms around Larkin.
"Might be fun. But I'll have to start easy, I'd probably die if I tried to start where you are now."
"Yeah, yeah… maybe we can run to the coffee shop or something and get you a lil snack to refuel on the way."
"Mm, sounds nice." Money would be tight for a bit, of course. He'd spent a lot on good quality meat for Larkin today. He'd need to watch his own spending.
Samul rested his chin on Larkin's shoulder, his own chest pressed slightly against Larkin's back. He kissed Larkin's chest.
"Mm… A bit salty," he said with a chuckle.
"Well, we are in the ocean, darling." Larkin returned the kiss and nuzzled against Samul affectionately, the brim of his hat bumping against the other's forehead.
Samul laughed lightly, turning the hat a bit so the bill was to the side. He smiled, leaning into the nuzzling and returning it.
"Mm~" Larkin kissed Samul again, which bumped his hat off of his head into the ocean. It was only off for a few seconds before he pulled it back on, but his ears were very visible during those few seconds.
Samul, when the hat fell off, pulled Larkin close, turning them a bit. He was trembling just slightly. Had someone seen Larkin?
"Perhaps… p-perhaps we should refrain from kissing for now," he said softly.
"But I love you~" Larkin whined, resting his head on Samul's shoulder. "I doubt anyone saw me anyway… they're all busy hanging out with their families or staring at teenage girls' asses."
Samul wrapped his arms around Larkin, hand securely on the hat to keep it on.
"Still… I don't want to risk anything." Samul sighed. "I… You're probably right. I'm just making too big of a deal out of this." He kissed Larkin lightly, hand still keeping the hat in place.
"Don't worry about it, love. I get it. I really appreciate the concern." Larkin smiled gently as he hugged Samul. "Let's just have fun, yeah? What else can we do?"
Samul nodded, calming down when he saw how unaffected Larkin was. Larkin was the one who'd dealt with this for years, after all.
"Well," Samul said, "we could go build sand castles, or we could go find some food to eat."
"Sure! Either works for me. I'm starving. But… I'm also always starving." Larkin laughed softly. "Do you have a preference?" He asked.
"Well… Why don't we get some food to snack on for now, and make sandcastles while we eat?" Samul smiled, starting to pull Larkin with him back to the shore. He was smiling softly, completely recovered from the scare from before.
"Sounds good to me!" Larkin headed out of the water with Samul and pulled his boyfriend over to an area that had some food stands.
