“I’m just tired..” Alto said quietly, looking down as they walked.

Kris nods and takes his hand, gently squeezing it assuringly. "If you want you can take a nap during lunch." He says gently.

“No it’s okay..” Alto replied, walking close by Kris’s side.

Kris nods and kisses his cheek sweetly. "It'll be alright, love." He says gently.

“I know…” Alto responded, smiling a little up at Kris.

Kris smiles down at him before they walk into their next class. He kisses the others cheek gently.

Alto's smile left his face as he sat down. He missed Halo, Kris was great but it wasn't the same without his brother..

Kris sat down, glancing at Alto every so often with concern obvious in his eyes.

Alto sat quietly until class was over, the bell startling him a little.

Kris stood and walked to Altos side, taking his hand.

Alto stood up, holding onto Kris's arm as they left the classroom. "Where to now?"

"English. Baby are you sure you're alright… Do you need anything?" He asked gently.

“No I’m fine, really..” Alto replied, his voice weak.

Kris shakes his head before gently guiding Alto to the side. "You're obviously not, love…" He says gently.

“We have to get to class, Kris..” Alto said, trying to keep walking, his efforts not very strong.

"Class can wait, Alto. But I need to know… Babe." He gently takes Altos face in his hands as he runs an gentle hand along his cheek. "I want to help… But I don't know how if you don't tell me…"

“I love you..” Alto sobbed, wrapping his arms around Kris and hugging him tight.

"I love you too, baby." Kris hugged him back tightly, hushing him gently. "Why don't we take you home…?" He asks gently, kissing him softly.

Alto nodded, still clinging to Kris.

Kris gently supported him before gently picking him up and carrying him to his car. "You just rest, baby. I'll drive you home, okay?" He smiles gently as he places Alto in his car, kissing his forehead sweetly.

“But you have school..” Alto said, looking over at him with concern.

"I don't think they'll mind. I've had not absences yet. I could ditch school for the rest of the year if I wanted to." He smiles teasingly. He starts the car and pulls out of the school parking lot.

Alto just whimpered sadly, resting his head on the seat and gazing at Kris as they drove.

Kris took his hand gently, kissing it softly. After a few minutes he pulls into their driveway and gets out, picking Alto up, wrapping his thighs around his waist and his arms around his neck, and walked to the door. He knocked sharply and after a.moment Halo answered. "Kris? Alto…" He moves out of the way so Kris can gently set Alto on the couch.

Alto looked flushed and slightly out of breath but smiled up at his brother. “Halooo! I missed you.” He said, laughing a little.
