Halo walks beside him, supporting him. He helps Alto into a chair at the table before moving towards the kitchen, humming softly as he works on making dinner. "What do you want tonight?" He asks gently.
Halo walks beside him, supporting him. He helps Alto into a chair at the table before moving towards the kitchen, humming softly as he works on making dinner. "What do you want tonight?" He asks gently.
“Whatever you want.” Alto responded, leaning back in his chair and resting his feet on the table.
Halo chuckles softly. "How does pasta sound?" He asks gently, looking in the cupboard. He would need to go to the store soon.
“Good.” Alto looked over at him. “I can go to the store this weekend.”
Halo smiles. "Why don't we go together?" He asks happily.
“Sounds good.” Alto agreed, glad to see Halo a bit more happy then usual.
Halo smiles a little bit before beginning to make dinner, humming softly as he does so.
Alto sighed quietly, resting his head on the table and dozing off a little.
Halo finishes making dinner and gently wakes his brother up. "Alto."
Alto opened his eyes slowly, looking around. "Hm?"
Halo smiles. "Dinner is ready." He chuckles, ruffling Altos hair affectionately.
“Oh okay..” Alto stood up, resting his hand on the counter to steady himself.
"Easy. Just sit there." He smiles gently. "Are you sure you're okay. You look sick…" He places a hand to Altos forehead.
“I’m fine..” Alto lied, sitting back down with a sigh.
Halo raises a brow. "I know you're not. What's going on." He settles down beside the other.
“Just tired..” Alto said, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.
Halo sighs. "Alto. I want to help. But I don't know how if you don't tell me." He says softly.
“I told you, I’m just tired..let’s eat before it gets cold.” Alto said, standing back up shakily and walking to the kitchen.
Halo watches him before looking down and sighing softly. He really did want to help his brother.
Alto got some food and didn’t look back at Halo. Halo didn’t need to know about the looks Alto got when he wasn’t with Kris. Or the respect he got when he was with Kris. It was like having a boyfriend was only okay when it was the captain of the football team, someone nobody would ever dare to be disgusted by.
Halo rests his head on his hand, the pain in his legs throbbing. He stands, looks at the time and limps towards the cabinet, taking his meds.
“How are you feeling, physically?” Alto asked quietly, sitting back down with his food.
"Better. The pain comes and goes." He says softly. He swallows his pills and downs them with water.
“Good. You should eat something.” Alto prompted gently, nodding towards the food.
Halo shrugs, grabbing a little bit of the pasta before sitting down.
