Sorin's heart began to beat faster, blood began rushing to his cheeks. "You don't…You don't have to thank me."
Sorin's heart began to beat faster, blood began rushing to his cheeks. "You don't…You don't have to thank me."
"Why not?" Cas looked up at Sorin, his ears pricking up as well. "You've helped me. That deserves gratitude, right?"
Sorin planted a kiss on his temple.
Cas's face flushed bright red and his tail fluffed up from surprise. He let out a small, shaky meow and quickly covered his mouth to hide it, embarrassed.
"Oh?" Sorin chuckled and pecked him on the nose.
Cas meowed again, though it was muffled through his hand. He closed his eyes, blushing deeply. Oh god. What have I gotten myself into?
"Adorable," Sorin smiled softly. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"I-I… uh… anything's fine with me…" Cas stammered, keeping his eyes closed.
Sorin caressed Cas's cheek, savoring the feel of his soft skin between his fingertips. "Alright then," he sat upright and stretched before getting out of bed. "And you don't need to get up if you don't want to. I could bring the breakfast to you."
"No, that's alright… I can come with you." Cas yawned again, stretching before getting up as well. His ears flicked and his tail swayed a bit behind him as he looked up at Sorin.
Sorin tilted his head. "Are Neko's here always this small?"
"I don't think so… I mean, I think they're a little shorter than humans on average, but I'm very below average." His ears stayed pointed towards Sorin as he spoke, but would turn towards the sound of birds chirping or other background noise.
"And that's fine. Your height suits you," he held his small hand, led him down the stairs and into the living room. "You could watch some TV while I make you breakfast or you can do whatever. I'll call you when it's ready, okay?"
"Okay!" Cas went over to the couch and lay on his back. He took a minute to figure out how to work the tv, but he eventually managed to turn it on. It was already on animal planet, so he left it. He approached the tv and sat right in front of it, his eyes following mice as they ran across leaves in the first.
Sorin smiled then went into the kitchen. He cooked Cas four pancakes, three eggs, four pieces of bacon, and two sausages. I hope this is enough for him. He set the plate down on the table as well as two tall glasses of milk and orange juice. "Cas!"
"Coming!" Cas hopped to his feet and came into the kitchen, sitting down. "That's… that's a lot of food." He observed, glancing at the array of foods that seemed foreign to him.
"Is it?" Sorin examined the plate.
"Well… yeah. I might eat this much in about a month, give or take. You're eating some too, right?" Cas looked up at Sorin.
"Angels don't really need to eat."
"Are these my monthly rations or what?" Is he wanting me to eat all this in one sitting? That could make me throw up.
"Monthly rations? Listen, Cas, you can eat however much you want."
"Okay…" Cas quietly picked up a pancake and bit into the, the texture feeling a bit strange on his sharp catlike teeth.
"Do you like it?" he asked eagerly. "I know i'm not much of a cook but I really hope it's edible."
Cas nodded. "It's good, I just don't think I can eat four of them."
"Well, eat as much as you can then leave what you can't. We have a long day ahead of us and I wouldn't want you to walk around hungry."
