(lol I'm okay I guess)
"Works for me." Tyler agreed, smiling down at her as they walked to town.
They reached town a couple minutes later and found it to be full of people, as it usually was on a Sunday. The coffee shop was just a couple blocks away and Tyler glanced around for Lochlin.
Macha’s face suddenly blanched. “That’s—we’re going to—we’re going to that shop?”
"Um..yeah. Is there something wrong with it?" Tyler asked worriedly, stepping into the shop with her and staying near the exit just in case.

(Lmao)
Macha shook her head quickly, fixing her eyes to the floor as soon as she caught sight of Rowan in the back.
Rowan didn't notice them come in at first, and he was busy agitating another one of his coworkers with a huge grin on his face. The other boy just rolled his eyes and turned away from Rowan to serve another customer. Rowan scanned the shop, eyes slightly narrowed until they spotted Macha and widened. He gave a small wave, knowing now how she wasn't that social.
Tyler frowned but decided to let Macha and look around for Lochlin, his head turned away from the front of the shop where Rowan stood.
Lochlin was nowhere to be seen, but Macha wasn’t looking. She only kept her eyes glued to the floor, praying that Rowan didn’t recognize Tyler.
Tyler sighed and looked down at Macha. "What's wrong?" He asked, leading her over to a table and nudging her shoulder lightly.
“He—Rowan—The man at the counter—“ Macha closed her eyes for a moment, inhaling deeply. “He knows you. From when you—from when you left.”
"Really? Cool, I wonder what he's doing- Wait, how do you know?" Tyler asked suspiciously, glancing up at the counter.
“He talked to me,” she admitted, “Recognized me from a picture you kept.”
Tyler smiled softly to himself, one of the only good memories he had of that year. "Oh, yeah. Sorry if he bothered you." He said, looking back up at her.
She shrugged awkwardly. “I couldn’t—It was just hard to talk. About you. To him.”
“I know. I’m sorry.” Tyler replied, rubbing his hand over hers absentmindedly.
Rowan came over to them a couple minutes later, grinning widely. “Welcome back.” He said happily, glancing at the pair of them. “Can I get you anything?”
Macha’s shoulders drew up. “My usual, please. Tyler? What do you want to have?”
“Just an iced coffee thanks.” Tyler told him, smiling back.
Rowan nodded, his usual spark and pep nowhere to be seen.
Macha laced her fingers through Tyler's, seeking physical comfort for the uncomfortable situation. "Thank you, Rowan. How–How are you?"
“Just fine. How are you two?” He asked, smiling kindly at her.
She still couldn't meet his eyes.
"We're good," she murmured, squeezing Tyler's hands.
“Good. I’ll have your coffee out in a minute,” he replied quietly, walking back towards the counter.
Tyler watched him go. “I wonder what’s got him down..”
“You,” she whispered, not daring to look him in the eye. “He… well. He was hitting on me a few weeks ago, before he saw the ring.”
Tyler's expression morphed into a glare but softened a minute later. "I won't murder him or anything.."
"I know, Tyler," she murmured, "It's just awkward around him. I sort of avoid this shop."
"Sorry, I can tell Lochlin to meet us somewhere else if you want." Tyler offered.
Macha opened her mouth to respond, but the sound of the café door opening pulled her attention away. There, walking towards them, was a tall, Asian man she'd never seen in her life. But his hair was so unmistakeably turquoise—it had to be him.
"Tyler," he greeted smoothly, coming to a stop beside them. "Who's this doll?"
