Robin smoothed her hair absently and turned off her monitor. "I think I'm ready to go, now," she declared.
Robin smoothed her hair absently and turned off her monitor. "I think I'm ready to go, now," she declared.
"Alrighty!" He stepped out of the room to grab his suitcase and wheeled it in.
Robin stood up and grabbed her bag from under her desk. "Would you like me to carry your bag, sir?"
"No thank you! I'm capable of carrying it.", he said cheerfully. He walked out with her.
Once they were outside of the building, Robin visibly relaxed more. This was much less stressful and unprofessional, and, for some reason, she found herself wishing it was like this more often between them.
Isaac could tell Robin seemed less tense when they walked outside. He fished to keys to his red Ferrari. "Do you want driver or passenger seat?" He trusted her not to crash.
She did her best to keep herself composed. "Y-You can drive, sir – I mean, Isaac."
"Okay!" He was walking over to the car when he stepped on something. A ring that he had never seen before with a ruby gem on it. "Here." He held it out to Robin. "I found this."
She took it slowly. "Oh, thank you, si–" She bit her lip. "I'm sorry… Isaac."
"It's nothing. And you don't have to be sorry." He got into the car and started the engine.
She followed suit and subtly admired the details of the car.
"Ready?", he asked her with a grin on his face. It was time to leave professionalism behind for a while.
She looked up at him innocently. "For what?"
He laughed. "To go, silly?"
"Oh." She blushed lightly. "Yes."
Isaac stepped on the gas pedal and off they went. "Sit back. It will be about half and hour to the airport."
Robin admired the sights of the city. The wind tugged her hair out of its standard bun and she finished the job.
He looked in the mirror at her and said, "You look nice without the bun.".
"Thank you," she replied, smiling happily as they drove through the maze of buildings.
They saw a gleaming glass building. "Pretty, isn't it?", he asked her. There were cars and people all around them.
"Yes, it's astounding," she murmured, tilting her head back to see higher.
"Travel much?", he asked, turning to look at her. She seemed in awe with her surroundings.
"Not too often," she replied. "But I love to be surprised every time I walk outside."
"Me too. You'll have plenty of surprises this week.", he promised her.
She looked over at him shyly. "You think so?"
