She stood up as well. "I'm sorry if I ruined it for you," she said quietly. Her half-braided hair floated in a soft breeze.
She stood up as well. "I'm sorry if I ruined it for you," she said quietly. Her half-braided hair floated in a soft breeze.
He blushed, embarrassed. "…Ruined what?"
"I-I don't know," she said quietly. Every part of her wanted to run, but she stayed rooted on the spot.
He looked away and kicked the sand. "Well it's fine.", he shrugged.
"Do, um, do you want to finish braiding my hair?" she asked quietly.
"Well…" She really cracked his shell. "Do you want me to?", he asked hopefully.
"It felt nice," she whispered shyly.
He blushed shyly. "Alright. Sit down." He sat back down in the sand.
Robin did. The sweet breeze on her face felt relaxing.
He continued to braid her pretty hair. It felt nice. I wonder where I learned to do this.
She held still for him, enjoying the feeling of his hands in her hair.
He loved braiding her hair. After he was finished he wrapped it into a bun. A braid-bun. "Have a hair tie?", he asked.
She took one off her wrist and held it up so he could take it.
He used the hair tie to keep the bun in place. "All done!", he said proudly. It looked nice.
She reached back and fingered it gently, as not to ruin it. "Thank you," she said shyly, turning around to face him.
"Do you like it?", he said shyly, as he sensed her shyness.
"Yes, I love it," she replied, looking at him hesitantly.
He instantly regretted doing her hair in fear would seem to feminine for her. "I um… had sisters.", he lied.
"Oh," she said softly. "Don't they ever visit?"
"No.", he said emotionlessly. He only half-lied, he realized. He did have one sister. But she couldn't ever visit him. Was that were I learned to braid? He was frustrated that he struggled to remember his life.
She could see the conflicting look on his face. “We don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to,” she added quickly.
"I have some… a lot of memory loss.", he admitted. Maybe I'm the one who doesn't visit people I don't even remember…
"Oh," she said softly. "I… I didn't mean to bring that up…"
"It's fine. You would've figured it out at some point. That's why I have such a great assistant!" Hopefully she wouldn't mind.
She blushed. "Thank you, sir– I mean, Isaac."
