"Hang on." He picked up a sea cucumber. "This little guy got washed up by the tide."
Robin looked at it curiously. She'd never seen something like that before. "What is it?" she asked.
"A sea cucumber. Do you want to touch it before I let it go?". he asked, while holding it up to her.
She blinked as it came closer to her. "It's fine."
He crouched by the ocean and carefully set the sea cucumber down. "It's slimy.", he giggled.
Robin wrinkled her nose, but she was smiling at the same time. "Eww!"
"I know, right?!", he couldn't remember talking like that for a while except when acting for movies. Or writing the movies. He felt free, like one of his very own characters.
(OH MY SPRINKLES I HAVE AN IDEA WHAT KIND OF MOVIES DOES HE WRITE, JUST WONDERING)
She held her hand upside down and the starfish stuck to it. "Look!"
(action-fantasy and some horror themes)
"Yeah! Starfish are cool!" She was so cute with that starfish stuck to her hand.
(Okay, here's my idea: Maybe he had a job where he had to do a romance movie, just one. And they "play along with the movie" the rest of their vacation. You can pick a romance movie that already exists if you want to. Does this make sense? It would be kinda cute.)
She giggled. "We should name it!"
(Great idea! I can plan that out!)
"Of course! What do you want to name your new friend?" He rubbed the starfish's back.
(Coolio!)
"I-I thought you could name it, um, since you do a lot of that…" she suggested shyly, referring to his characters.
"Do you want an opportunity to name something?", he asked. Naming something, after all, gave a sense of power.
"Um, I've always liked the name Stella," she remarked. "It sounds nice for a starfish, doesn't it?"
"It does! Stella it is!", the starfish started crawling up Robin's arm.
"Eek!" she squealed in surprise. "It feels weird!"
He giggled. "Be careful. Stella could bite you.", he added.
Her eyes widened. "They bite?!"
"Well some." He pried Stella off of her arm, so she wouldn't bite Robin.
Robin rubbed her arm where Stella had been and smiled shyly at Issac. "Thank you."
"No problem. We'd better let Stella go anyway." He set Stella back into the tide pool.
Robin watched him with curious eyes. "You love it here."
"I really do. All of my happy memories were made here.", he sighed.
She bit her lip hesitantly before speaking up again. "Maybe we can make some more…?" Her petite figure was surrounded by the faint glow of the sun, which had just started to set along the horizon.
He hugged her. "We already are…"
