She laughed at him. "Do you want me to get you a towel?"
She laughed at him. "Do you want me to get you a towel?"
"No, I want you to jump in with me!", he teased, but really meant it.
"You just said that it's cold," she insisted.
He laughed. "Yeah. Men are weird. If you don't want to that's fine."
"Are you sure you don't need a towel? You're shivering a bit."
"I'd get one myself if I needed one." He patted her shoulder reassuringly.
"Oh, um, okay," she agreed softly. "There's nothing you need? Anything at all you want me to do?"
"No. I just need you to have some fun. Neither one of us is higher than the other.", he explained.
"Oh, um, alright." She looked a bit hesitant, unsure of where to start.
He noticed how unsure she was. "Come on!", he said, taking her hand and running.
She gasped as he pulled her along the beach. "Where are we going?" she called to him.
"There's a tide pool over there! We could find starfish!", he said excitedly. It was nice to hold her hand.
"Okay," she agreed. It was obvious how much she was trying to be informal, because that's what he wanted.
He stood over the tidepool. "There's an oyster! See!?"
"Yes," she said shyly. "I see it."
"Look at this!" He picked up a starfish and showed it to her.
She giggled at his child-like excitedness.
Issac smiled even more. "Do you want to hold it?"
"Um… sure," she said hesitantly.
He carefully put that starfish into her hands. It was a little difficult because it's arms were suctioned to his hand. "Here!", he said playfully. There were two Issacs. A serious Issac and a goofy Issac. He hoped Robin wouldn't mind his playful side.
Her eyes were wide. "Oh! It's sticking to me!"
He giggled. "They have suction cups on their hands!"
"It feels weird!" she whined with a smile.
He pet the starfish. It was normal to him after years of playing in tide pools. "Isn't it cute?"
Robin studied it. "It's… cute."
