Hunter squared his shoulders, “Hello. My name is Hunter,” He greeted, smiling brightly. “I’m sorry to appear out of no where, I hope you’ll forgive me.” He wanted to make a good impression on Milo’s mom, and prayed his sudden appearance in their home wasn’t too bad.
"Nice to meet you, Hunter! I'm Milo's mother, as you probably already know, you can call me Olivia if you would like." She gave him a huge smile, happy to finally meet her son's soulmate. "I don't mind actually, you're forgiven, no need to worry dear!" She beamed at him then gave Milo a hug and continued to make breakfast. The whole time Milo had a smile almost bigger than his face could take, after all, he was looking at his two favorite people in the world, why wouldn't he?
Hunter smiled back at her, glancing at his soulmate. His smile only widened at seeing Milo’s smile because gosh darn he was the cutest thing in existence, wasn’t he? Hunter knew in that moment, he would do whatever Milo wanted him to do. He would buy him whatever he wanted, he would take him wherever he wanted to go… Hunter moved so his hand could find Milo’s, smiling softly at his wonderful soulmate…
Milo happily gripped Hunter's hand, lacing their fingers and looking lovingly into Hunter's eyes. After a minute, maybe two, Milo turned to his mom, "Hey mom, we're going out to town and probably won't be back for a bit. So I'll see you later, love you!" He said as he gave his mom a peck on the cheek.
"Goodbye, dear. Have fun you two!"
Milo waved to his mom and lead Hunter outside.
“See you later, Ms. Hill,” Hunter said with a bright smile, happily leaving with Milo. Once the exited the apartment, he glanced at Milo, “You think she likes me?” He asked a little self-conciously, but smile nonetheless as he walked out towards his car.
"Oh I think she loves you! Ever since I told her about finding my soulmate she's been super excited to meet you and I see no reason she wouldn't like you, you're perfect." Milo explained, still over joyed.
Hunter grinned, opening the car door for Milo when they got there. “I’m glad,” Hunter slid into the car at the driver’s seat, “I was a bit worried about making a good first impression.” Hunter chuckled, waiting for Milo before starting the car and beginning to drive it out of the parking lot.
"Well, even if you did, she's a pretty forgiving person," Milo said before leaning on Hunter's shoulder. He looked out the window and watched everything go by. He was really excited. Well, of course he was, spending more time with Hunter was always great.
Hunter smiled, taking his eyes off the road for just a second to kiss the top of Milo’s head. It wasn’t long before he made it back to his house and pulled in the driveway. “A you want to wait in the car? I’ll only be a minute if you’d like to just stay here,” Hunter offered with a smile.
"Yeah, I'll stay here. Don't let your sister bully you about this okay?" Milo said with a soft laugh. He gave Hunter a peck on the cheek then sat up so he could get out.
Hunter chuckled, smiling a little, “It’s only a matter of time before she starts teasing you too. She probably already thinks of you as her second brother.” He leaned in to give Milo one last kiss on the head before sliding out of the car. Hunter snuck into his house, noticed his foster parents in the living room watching a cooking show of some sort. He quietly walked to his room, grateful for not being noticed. He quickly changed into a simple green shirt and jeans, giving himself a once over before tiptoeing out of his room. Hunter found his sister outside his door, giving him a suggestive look. He pointedly frowned at her, hissing softly, “Before you say anything, you know I don’t want to do that kind of stuff yet.”
Hannah just chuckled softly, “Alright alright, grumpy pants, go have fun with your boyfriend already.” Hunter rolled his eyes at her, sneaking back outside to his car and slipping in right next to Milo again with a smile.
"You're right, that was fast! Did your family say anything?" Milo asked with a smile as he leaned on Hunter again.
Hunter chuckled, “Wendy and Carl didn’t notice, for once.” Hunter put the car into drive and pulled out of the driveway. “Hannah stopped me for a quick second, but I got out of there before she could say much,” Hunter added with a laugh, but one arm around Milo as he drove.
Milo laughed a little, "That's good I suppose." He let his head rest on Hunter's shoulder with a smile. "So where to first?"
“Would you like to go to the mall? We could get food there, and go shopping?” Hunter offered with a smile. Though he was already driving in the mall’s general direction, he had no qualms with turning around if Milo would want to go somewhere else first.
"Sounds good to me!" Milo agreed. With Hunter's mention of food, Milo realized how hungry he was. "It's a good thing the mall has food, I just realized how hungry I am."
Hunter smiled, taking his eyes off the road for just a second so he could turn his head to kiss Milo’s forehead. He just loved his soulmate so darn much. He could spend the whole day with him, doing whatever, and be as happy as could be.
Milo smiled. He would kiss Hunter back but he didn't want to distract him while on the road. He would happy to just drive around all day with Hunter, as long as it's with Hunter he'll be more than happy.
It felt like time flew by when Hunter was with Milo, and later Hunter was pulling into a parking spot in the mall’s parking lot. He put the car in part and kissed Milo on the head with a bright grin. “You don’t even need to take any money in with you, I’m buying,” Hunter told him. He wanted to treat Milo.
"Are you sure? Suits can cost a lot and food and anything else we see, that's a lot." Milo asked with a little smile looking at Hunter.
“Definitely,” Hunter responded proudly, “I got savings from quite a few Christmases and birthdays, and I want to spend it on you.” Hunter leaned into to peck Milo on the lips. His soulmate was just so, so important to him.
"Well, if you're sure… thank you," Milo said with a smile. "We'd better get shopping then, this could be a long day!" He said, very excited.
Hunter grinned, before making himself get out of the car because if he didn’t there would’ve been a chance he was going to kiss Milo a thousand times. He was just so darn adorable. Hunter offered a hand and gave a little bow, “My prince, the mall awaits.”
Milo smiled shyly as he took Hunter's hand to get out of the car. He laced his fingers with Hunter's as they started walking to the mall.
Hunter grinned proudly as he walked in, his chest shining with pride and a hint of overprotectiveness. “Where to first, my love?” He asked sweetly, smiling happily at his soulmate. I’ll never get tired of calling him that. My soulmate.
