“Mmmmmm…. Stars, I flipping love you…” Hunter murmured onto Milo’s lips then continued kissing him. He wanted to have this man in his life for as long as he lived. Milo was his comfort, his stability, his love. Hunter’s soulmate. He wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
Milo smiled into the kiss. "Mmmm…" He didn't even attempt to actually make a coherent sentence. He didn't really care either. The most perfect person to ever exist was right there, making out in a truck with him. He would do anything to stay with Hunter.
Words didn’t even matter right now. Hunter felt like the kiss conveyed everything he could ever want to say. He would be perfectly content with just staying in the car with Milo for as long as he could. Maybe even spend the light in the parking lot, heck, Hunter didn’t care as long as he could stretch his time with Milo as much as he could.
Milo pulled away slightly. "Hey… you wanna come inside? I doubt my mom would mind." He asked with a smile. It would be perfect, more time with Hunter and his mom would finally meet his soulmate in the morning.
“That would be nice,” Hunter murmured back with a soft smile, then made himself sit up yet he pulled Milo up with him. He didn’t care how many times Hannah would tease him about this later, he wanted to spend as much time as possible with his Milo….
Milo kept ahold of Hunter, his legs still wrapped around his waist. "Maybe we should put on our shirts in case my mom or my sister is actually awake?" He offered, even though they would probably take them off once they got to his room.
"Oh I suppose," Hunter sighed with a joking grin and, still not letting go of Milo, he reached over and grabbed their shirts. He slipped his shirt on before holding out Milo's for him–his hands coming to his soulmate's thigh and lower back to support him.
Milo smiled and slipped on his shirt, remembering that it was Hunter's. He draped his arms around Hunter's neck and held on. Obviously, he didn't want to let go either. He buried his face in the crook of Hunter's neck, giving it a small peck before closing his eyes.
Hunter smiled, then got a firm grip on Milo and slipped out of the car into the brisk nighttime air without letting go of his soulmate once. His smile didn’t fade at all and he carried his Milo to the apartment complex and -after a few attempts while careful not to drop his love- opened the door and let himself in with Milo in his arms.
Milo lifted his head. "I could have helped you, you know," He said with a quiet laugh. "Let me down and I'll show you to my room… I'm so tired…"
“Nooo….” Hunter whined, not wanting to let Milo go, “Just tell me what direction to walk in.” He liked the feeling of Milo’s body in his arm and his legs straddling his waist, and was in no rush to make it stop.
Milo smiled and kissed Hunter's cheek. "Mk, so to the left there's a hallway and my room is the second door on the right." He said as he lowered his head on Hunter's shoulder again.
Hunter smiled a little bit more carrying Milo to where he was instructed. He came upon a door and shifted Milo in his arms a little so he could kiss his cheek and murmur, “This one it? You have a key?”
"Uhm…" Milo, with a little difficulty, reached into his pocket and grabbed the key. "Here you go." He handed Hunter the key and settled back into him.
Hunter carefully unlocked the door with as much silence as possible to avoid waking Milo’s family. He opened the door and slowly stepped inside the apartment.
Milo smiled into Hunter as they made their way inside. He pointed to the way to his room with lazy fingers. He was absolutely fatigued and very ready to sleep.
Hunter smiled softly and went in that direction, happy to find Milo’s room. It smells like him… Hunter kicked off his shoes and the threshold, carefully walking to the bed and sitting down with a grin. Milo is so adorable…
Milo slowly lifted his head and smiled at Hunter. He then shifted so he was laying on the bed. He scooted up to the head of the bed and settled. He made sure to grab Hunter's hand before doing so. He still clutched it as he was already falling into sleep.
Hunter smiled, getting adjusted so he could spoon his soulmate and wrap his arms around his waist. “Good night, my love…” He murmured softly, pulling a blanket over the two of them. Sleep greeted him like falling into a soft, pillowy cloud.
Milo smiled sleepily, "Goodnight…" He quickly drifted off, happily in Hunter's arms. He settled into Hunter as he fell asleep. He could definitely get used to this, it was perfect and everything he ever wanted.
Hunter slept soundly that night until he cracked his eyes opened the next morning, smiling when he felt warmth beside him. He was careful not to move too much, but he slipped out his phone to see four texts, all from Hannah.
You’ve been out a while, busy with ur soulmate, eh?
Bro you must be really be getting busy, it getting late
Bro?
wait shit u actually doin it?
Hunter chuckled softly, sending a quick reply that just said he slept over at Milo’s, but didn’t do anything. Hunter knew Hannah had probably done it a couple times, but Hunter was still unsure about the idea of sex. Even back when he was dating his ex, he never wanted to have sex with her. Hunter didn’t think he was ready for something like that in high school.
A few minutes later, Milo awoke. He cuddled closer to Hunter. Their legs were very tangled together and his head was on Hunter's chest. It was perfect. He slowly opened his eyes, very happy to see Hunter next to him. "Goodmorning~" He said in a quiet morning voice.
“Morning, my love,” Hunter murmured with a grin, setting his phone aside. “Did you sleep well?” He asked softly, wrapping his arms around Milo a little tighter. He decided he wished he could wake up and have every morning he like this.
