Killian was quiet, having finished eating.
She shrugged a little. "True enough."
Killian was quiet, having finished eating.
She shrugged a little. "True enough."
Jade sighed a little and finished her coffee.
Sophie smiled. “Besides, I actually like to cook when I get the chance. I just can't bake for some reason… That's Jade’s department.” she chuckled.
Killian was quiet, sipping at his coffee.
Raven nodded faintly. "Yeah. Makes sense."
Jade winced a little as she felt a headache starting from worrying too much.
Sophie laughed and nodded. “Yeah. Apparently, I’m a disaster when it comes to baking.”
He raised his eyebrows a little. "You alright?"
"Ah, I see." she laughed as well, smiling over at Raven.
Jade hummed softly, and reluctantly shook her head. “Headache…” she admitted.
“Jade’s words. Not mine.” Sophie laughed. “I would just say that I'm not good at it.”
He frowned. "Oh. Is there something I can do to help?"
She smiled a little. "Yikes."
“Hand…” she said softly as she managed to place her hand on the table. “Please.”
Sophie smiled back, relaxing in her chair.
He reached out, lacing his fingers with hers.
She closed her eyes for a moment.
Jade’s breath caught in her chest at the touch but she quickly grabbed onto him and began rubbing her thumb against his skin.
Sophie just smiled at her before getting up again and started cleaning up the kitchen.
He was quiet, letting her use his hand however she wanted to.
She opened her eyes after a minute, rubbing her face with a hand.
Jade traced meaningless patterns, forcing herself to take slow steady breaths as her mind started to clear and refocus.
Sophie didn't notice as she was trying to ignore the temptation to use her power to speed up her little chore.
He kept sitting quietly, letting her play with his hand.
She sighed very softly, trying to think if she had anything that day.
Jade sighed and slowly opened her eyes. “Thank you.” she smiled softly, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.
Sophie hummed a little as she started setting everything up to dry.
"You're welcome." He replied, just as quiet.
Raven stretched, leaning back in her seat.
Jade smiled gratefully, still holding his hand. “It helps to have something real to hold on to when my mind starts going too fast for me to keep up.” she explained.
Sophie turned back to Raven as she dried her hands.
He nodded a little. "Alright. I'm glad I could provide that for you.:
Raven gave her a soft smile.
“I actually didn't figure it out until… I think we were at the restaurant together.” she admitted.
Sophie smiled back.
He nodded again. "Oh, right."
She stretched again, getting up from her seat and twisting around.
Jade nodded a little and gave his hand one more squeeze before she started pulling away.
Sophie smirked a little as she watched her stretch. It was hard not to admire her physique when she did that.
He smiled, letting her pull away.
Raven looked over at her.
“Thank you… again.” she giggled softly.
Sophie just raised a brow when she was caught, but didn't look away and kept smirking.
He nodded. "Yeah, of course. You're welcome." He replied, smiling.
Raven laughed, a smirk pulling at her own mouth.
Jade smiled back a little.
Sophie chuckled, not embarrassed at all over her actions.
He smiled again, wider this time.
Raven laughed again.
