Killian chuckle. "Mm, alright. Just making sure." he replied with a smirk, even though he knew she couldn't see it.
(I probably gtg to bed soon. Good night!)

(Ok. Good night.)
”Don’t worry. You're not boring me either.” Jade teased. ”I think this might actually be the longest phone call I’ve had with anyone who wasn't family.”
Killian laughed softly. "Mhm, alright then." he replied with a grin.
”Am I boring you right now? Or was that just too much of a personal comment?” Jade asked at his simple reply.
"Nope. I just wasn't sure how you wanted me to reply. I'm honored? Congratulations?" Killian chuckled.
Jade laughed with him. ”Yeah, that… You make a good point. Both of those responses are awkward.”
Killian chuckled. "Mhm." he agreed, shaking his head a little.
She sighed. ”Maybe I should go. I have to work on a few things and for me that means a lot of testing.” Jade explained half-heartedly.
"Mm. Do you want some…not expert help?" Killian replied with a laugh.
She raised a brow in surprise at his offer. ”Are you sure? You did just get second, if not third-degree burns from that hot head. And not all my work is on my bike.” she pointed out, unsure if she was attempting to dissuade him or just informing him.
"I'm fine." he waved a hand. "Really, don't worry about me. And…while that's disappointing, there is the possibility of using that hoverboard again, isn't there?"
Jade smiled a little coyly, even if he couldn't see it. ”Possibly.” she teased. ”But you do know that worrying is practically part of my job description.”
Killian chuckled. "Do you want my help or not then, Miss Jade?" he asked, smiling.
“I’ll pick you up in… about five to ten minutes.” she grinned excitedly, looking forward to seeing him again.
"Hmm. Alright. Guess I'd better put a shirt on, then." Killian replied with a laugh, standing up.
”Civilian or costume?” she asked in a playful tone despite the seriousness of the question. It would probably be safer to go as civilians rather than Hex and Brainwave but it would be faster if they were in their suits.
"Civilian, I already got beat up once today as Hex." Killian replied with a sigh. He went to his bedroom, holding the phone, and pulled a shirt from a drawer.
”Alright.” Jade nodded. ”Then, I’ll see you soon.” she smiled slightly as she looked for a change of clothes since her current outfit wasn't exactly motorcycle appropriate.
"Alright." Killian pulled a shirt on, wincing slightly as the movement tugged on him.
Jade smiled as she found a nicer outfit. ”Alright. Well, I'm going to hang up now so we can both get ready and I'll be over soon.” There was no way she was getting changed with him on the phone.
Killian smirked. "Why, afraid I'll peep through the phone and watch?" he asked teasingly, heading to the kitchen to get a snack.
”You perv. I don't want to find out if you can.” she told him, shaking her head knowing he was teasing. ”Anyways, the longer we talk, the longer you have to wait until I get over there… with my bike.” Jade smirked.
"Fiiine." Killian replied, laughing. He hung up, and tucked his phone in his pocket. He made a sandwhich and ate it while he waited.
Jade chuckled as he hung up. ”I knew that would get him.” she smirked to herself as she changed into a pair of dark skinny jeans and a slightly lower cut shirt than normal. ”Hey, Soph? I'm going out for a while. Don't know what time I’ll be back.” she called out before quickly heading for the door.
Killian finished his sandwich, and put everything away again. He was wearing a simple, grey t shirt, along with a pair of jeans. His black hair was tousled and messy, as he hadn't bothered doing anything with it recently.
