(not bad)
(oh yes that would be a good one!)
Killian was humming softly as he made himself dinner. He was wearing the halfmask; it was just simple habit, really. He wore it because it liked to, not because he needed to. As Hex, he was a notorious villain. He got what he wanted and didn't let anyone get in his way. Anyone. Ever. Of course, there was that hero girl. Hebhad fought with her a few times, and each time it had ended in a draw.
Everything hurt. Her gait was far from the controlled fluid movement she used when in costume. Her arm was on fire, she couldn't tell if it was broken or if it was just from… She had to get there. He had to be able to help her. Jade dizzily raised in her hand knocked on the door.
(sorry… wasn't sure if you saw this… It got bumped to the other page… I can change it if you already saw it )
(oh oops no i didn't lol. I'll change my reply rq. Thanks)

(It's ok)
(there we go, changed it)
Jade had her visor up when Hex opened the door, swaying unsteadily on her feet, her normally sharp gray eyes were glassy and unfocused, what little skin was visible was very pale… ”… didn't have anywhere else to go…” she murmured softly, her helmet changing her voice to sound very electronic and a bit older. She gasped lightly as she stumbled forward, collapsing against him.
Killian blinked as he caught her, his eyes going from green to a confused brown, looking down at the hero in his arms. "Ah…" He stammered slightly, looking around the empty street. He shook his head, quickly taking her inside and putting her down on the couch, locking the door, before turning and looking down at her. Why was she here? What happened? Why did she look…he frowned, tucking a blanket around her. He wasn't sure what else to do.
Her breathing was finally calming down but she was still unnaturally pale. The helmet was keeping her head propped up at what seemed like a very uncomfortable angle and her suit was actually torn in a couple of places, with a light trickle of blood seeping from one of rips.
He hesitated for a long moment, then pulled her helmet off. I could kill her right now…put an end to this. But… He looked down at her sleeping form, and sighed. I won't do that. It wouldn't be right. He wanted to take care of the wounds, but he didn't want to strip her suit off; he didn't know if she was wearing anything underneath.
Jade managed a soft moan as her helmet was removed, revealing her short strawberry hair. Despite being asleep, her face was far from relaxed. Her brow was furrowed and sweaty as if she was trapped in a nightmare.
(Loving this so far.)
Killian frowned slightly, and gently laid his palm on her forehead. He could probably use his magic to influence her dreams…there. His mouth twitched as he sent her unconscious mind images of good things. Sunshine, sweets. That sort of thing. He highly doubted that memories of their fights would help anything. He sniffed, smelling something…burning? "Ah! My dinner!" He yelped, running to the kitchen and turning the stove off.
She flinched slightly at the touch but appeared to relax at the images placed in her mind. It didn't last long as the smell slowly roused her back to consciousness. As side from the smoky aroma, the first thing she became aware of was the pain. A decent cut on her upper arm, a couple of bruised ribs are maybe a broken one or two, her head was still heavy and throbbing.
Killian frowned. "So much for dinner." He muttered, picking out the salvageable bits. He picked up the plate and walked back into the living room, looking down at the hero on his couch. He was still wearing the black half mask, and he tilted his head a little, frowning as he thought. Why is she here? What is she doing here? Why? Why why why why why?
Jade finally managed to open her eyes and took a moment to look at her surroundings. It was very unfamiliar and that sent her into a slight panic, especially after what she had just been through. Ok, calm down… you got away… you got away…
Killian looked down at her impassively, his eyes swirling between green and brown. "Why are you here?" he asked, sitting down in the chair and looking at her. He rested one ankle on the opposite knee, setting his plate on his leg and starting to eat. "You show up at my door claiming you have nowhere else to go, bleeding and drugged and shit. I need an explanation." his voice was cold.
Jade jolted at the demand looking at him a bit lost for a moment. ”Hex?” she slowly sat up, noting her helmet was off. ”I wasn't sure you’d… Never mind. My mind wasn't clear, I couldn't think. An odd thing for me, considering…” she shook her head, trying to keep her voice as steady as possible. ”To answer your question; I was attacked and overpowered. I couldn't go to a hospital for obvious reasons. Which you took liberties with but you don't know me outside of our encounters so… I suppose I thought I would be safe here.”
Killian clasped his hands together, leaning forward as he looked at her. "So. Let me get this straight. Rather than go to a hospital, you came to the home of your enemy, hoping I would…what, help you? And not just kill you straight out? I considered it, you know. Just killing you. But that wouldn't have been fair." he shrugged. "And how did you even find me in the first place?" he added, looking at her.
Jade sighed, resting her forehead against her hands. ”I don't know what I was thinking.” her voice trembled at the admittance, revealing how much that thought scared her. She took a slow breath before speaking again. ”You have a point, it makes sense that you would consider it, but I knew you wouldn't. None of your crimes, thus far, have included murder. Lots of threats but, no deaths.” she gave a light chuckle at his last question. ”My mind is practically a supercomputer, it wasn't hard to figure out who you are and where you live.”
Killian frowned slightly. "Fine. Let's call a truce for now, then, shall we? I'll help you and let you stay here, and you don't touch my stuff. Or me. Or…anything." he stood, setting the untouched food down. "You can eat that, if you want. I'll get my first aid kit." he left the room, coming back after a few minutes and plopping the kit down on the chair, opening it.
Jade nodded. ”I agree to the truce but I'm not very hungry. Thank you, Hex.” despite knowing who he was, she continued to use his alias as a formality and show of respect. Her stomach was still in knots after what had happened, she would try to eat something in the morning. Hopefully, he wouldn't mind if she was still here at that point. If he did… Well, the drugs should be out of my system by then. I can head home and finish taking care of myself if it comes to that.
Killian nodded. "Alright." He was curious about what had happened, but didn't ask. "What am i supposed to call you? And where are the worst injuries, so i can take care of them." He held up the supplies needed to patch up most wounds. He just hoped she didn't need stitches. He wasn't good at stitches. He really wasn't.
