“Okay, fine. But I’m still hungry, so…” She smirked and finished her last slice. “Honorable Mention.”
“Okay, fine. But I’m still hungry, so…” She smirked and finished her last slice. “Honorable Mention.”
Spencer laughed. "We just ate ten pizzas each. I think we may have a problem."
“We might,” Anya agreed. “But it’s a good problem. I think.” She smiled. “So. What now?”
"Well… Are you up for walking some more?" Spencer asked. He stood and offered Anya his hand, smiling down at her.
“Of course,” Anya agreed, lacing her fingers through his and following him out the door.
Spencer gently squeezed her hand and smiled at her as they walked out
"There's a park nearby, just a little one with a path through some trees and a few benches lining the way. It's pretty cute, and I kinda thought you might like it," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
Anya smiled. “It sounds perfect.” She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.
Spencer felt heat rise to his face as Anya kissed his cheek, and he grinned over at her.
"I hope so. I've been trying to figure out what to do for this date since I asked you out," he admitted with a slight laugh.
//WHAT IS THEIR SHIP NAME
Anya smiled. “It’s perfect. Pizza and a walk in the park. What’s not to love?”
[Dancer? D+An(ya)+(Spen)cer?]
"Good, I'm glad you think so. Oh, here we are," Spencer declared as they walked through the arch and entered the park.
(Or Spenya?)
//ooh Dancer is cool
Wait what do i do
What does the park look like
Aaaaaaahhhhhh
(Thanks!
And it's a pathway through two lines of trees. There's open space on the other side of the trees, and benches along the path. It's, like, fall I think.)
//it wont pOST
(Oh, there are probably some servers down. Again. For the third day in a row.)
//;-;
//i will have to respond tm, I’m sorry
(Darn, okay.)
Anya gasped. “It’s so pretty!”
She’d been to numerous parks before, of course, but this one was different.
The path was just wide enough for two people. Trees lined it, their leaves fluttering from their branches and landing on the ground surrounding them. The end result was very much aesthetically pleasing. The few benches that stood guard in between the trees were clean, but they weren’t brand new; as they got closer, Anya could see tiny scratches on them, like “T+A” enclosed in a heart. Stuff like that.
“It’s perfect.”
"Just like you," Spencer murmured, looking at her with a soft smile lighting his features. He led her over to a bench and gestured for her to sit. "Let's sit down. We can enjoy the view from here."
Anya smiled. She hadn’t felt this happy in… well, never. “Okay.” She sat down on the bench and curled her feet underneath herself.
Sitting next to Anya, Spencer took her hand in both of his, playing with her fingers. When he looked up at her, he smiled.
"So, uh… I've had a great time with you today, and I'm hoping you have, too. I was wondering if you'd, uh, like to go out with me again?" he asked nervously.
Anya laughed happily. “That’s a stupid question,” she smiled. “Of course I do.”
(Do they kiss, do they not kiss, does Anya do a platonic kiss-on-the-cheek…. THE INDESCISION)
(Ugh, right? Here, let's just…)
Spencer let out a sigh of relief. "Good. I'm so glad," he breathed. "You have no idea how excited I am for this."
His gaze flicked across her face, and he noticed a strand of hair had escaped from its place. Lifting his hand, he gently brushed it behind her ear, subconsciously leaning closer. He kept his hand on her cheek, rubbing gentle circles on it with his thumb.
