"I guess it did," Spencer laughed a bit. He glanced over at Anya and smiled at her. "I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted. I'm going to head to my room and sleep for a week."
"I guess it did," Spencer laughed a bit. He glanced over at Anya and smiled at her. "I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted. I'm going to head to my room and sleep for a week."
“Same,” Anya agreed, already heading in that direction. “After, I’ll go raid the kitchens. Want to meet me there tomorrow, around 3 pm?”
Spencer thought for a moment. "I believe I owe you a date… Would you like to go somewhere with me, instead?" he asked, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye.
Anya smiled. “As long as it involves pizza, sure.”
(I could have sworn I posted!!! I'm so sorry!)
Spencer chuckled. "All right, it'll involve pizza, then. The rest will be a surprise, though."
//no worries :D
“Works for me,” Anya grinned, (are they already holding hands?)
(Idk… Sure?)
Spencer winked and kissed Anya's hand. "I'll see you tomorrow," he said, letting her go.
//okey dokey I’ll just leave the sentence awkwardly hanging there then :P
“See you tomorrow,” Anya agreed, turning left in the direction of the barracks. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to sleep now.” She disappeared around the corner.
(Lol. Okay.)
Spencer smiled and walked to his room.
(Skip…?)
//yep
(Okie dokie.)
Spencer let out a breath as he reached Anya's door. He wore a simple black tshirt and jeans, and he held a single red rose behind his back. He knew it was clichè, but this was their first date and he'd wanted to do something special.
Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he knocked on the door and waited.
Anya was not used to feeling flustered, but that was definetly what she was feeling now. She finished straightening her hair right as Spencer knocked, making her jump. Setting down the straightening iron on her way to the door, Anya took a deep breath and opened it, smoothing down her red blouse. “Oh— wow, Spence, you look…. good.”
Spencer laughed a bit and ran his free hand through his hair. "Thanks. You look… Wow. You look amazing, Anya. I, uh, have something for you…" He drew the rose out from behind his back and held it out to her.
Anya couldn’t help but smile. “Oh! Wow, this is… this is gorgeous,” she blushed. “Thank you.” She took the rose and inhaled its scent.
//sorry it took so long, NB wouldn’t let me post yesterday
(That's okay! I had the same problem.)
"Not as gorgeous as you," Spencer mumbled under his breath. He smiled at Anya and held his hand out to her. "I'm glad you like it. Are you ready to go?"
“Yep,” Anya said cheerfully, taking his hand. “So. Where are we going again?”
"First, pizza, as promised. After that, it's a surprise," Spencer said with a slight smirk. "We can either walk or take my car, lady's choice."
“See, walking is healthier, but driving is funner,” Anya thought aloud. “It’s up to you.”
(Frick. I hate when I do this… I'm so sorry. I opened this on my computer and forgot to respond…)
"Why don't we walk? It's beautiful outside today, after all," Spencer said with a shrug as he led Anya toward the door.
//no worries!
“Works for me,” Anya smiled happily, letting Spencer lead her outside.
"So, Ms. Romanova, any guesses as to your surprise tonight?" Spencer asked as they walked.
“Mmm… pizza,” Anya guessed, turning to face him. “I mean, that’s pretty much a guarantee, because you said so.”
Spencer laughed. "I meant after that," he clarified. They reached the pizza place, and Spencer held the door open for Anya. "M'lady."
“Thank you, kind sir,” Anya laughed, walking inside.
