Skye kept thinking, "true, but we'd have to go pretty far east, just to get out of the hunter's range."
Skye kept thinking, "true, but we'd have to go pretty far east, just to get out of the hunter's range."
Lucas nodded. "Do we have any viable way to get there?"
"You have me" said Skye with a shrug.
"How do you mean? Do you have a car or something?"
Marco laughed, and Skye shook his head, "They're after me for a reason…" he said, before shifting to the form of a very very large, albiet thin, wolf.
(He will have (yes It's magic) amulet previously mentioned, and his fur is the same as his hair)
(Oo Noice)
"Shit!" Lucas fell backwards, startled by Skye suddenly transforming into a different species. "S-So you're wanting me to… ride you?" Lucas's face flushed once he realized how his words could be taken. "I-I mean… not like that! Like on y-your back!"
Skye gave him a cheeky grin, carefully lying next to him. "It's the fastest version of transportation we have available…"
(Haha… dirty jokes)
Lucas's face was still very red, but he nodded. "Alright… i-if that's okay with you. I mean, I can't imagine I weigh much more than a hundred pounds, maybe a hundred ten. I, uh… don't eat much…"
(Lucas: You want me to ride you? realization Wait shit no
Marco: laughing his ass off)
(Pretty much, also:
Skye: hmmmmmm might wanna look into that for later on…)
Skye sighed, "we're both underweight, and trust me, I can carry you easily, besides, I have a feeling Marco will come with us, otherwise he'll be used as bait for me."
(Lmao yeah)
Lucas nodded again, avoiding eye contact with Skye. Stop thinking about stuff like that… You may be soulmates, but you're not even officially dating yet. The red in his cheeks grew a bit deeper. God dammit. "S-So… um… when do you want to leave? W-We'll have to make preparations for a journey like that."
Skye had to resist a grin at that, unintentionally having heard the other's thoughts.
"We could probably leave at any time…" said Skye, "There are advantages to traveling with a Wolf and a Shifter, he gestured to Marco with one paw.
"L-Like what? Wouldn't we still need to collect food for the journey? I don't know how long it would take us to get there."
"Like the fact that both of us can hunt, it's what's been keeping us alive for so long." explained Marco, fiddling with some string in the back corner.
"Oh… that makes sense. And I can make fire to cook things." Lucas held up one hand, which a small flame rose out of.
Skye grinned, "That makes things easier!" he said, shifting back to hug him.
Lucas quickly put the fire out so he wouldn't burn Skye. "Yeah… I dunno if you guys can eat meat raw, but I would probably die."
"I can, when I have to" said Skye, "Marco probably could, but he'd have to stay in another form for about 24 hours or he'd get sick."
"Good thing we can cook, then. I know how to cook too, since my dad always made me cook meals. Sometimes I spit in his food if he was particularly pissing me off." Lucas smirked a bit.
"Good for you" said Skye, "What do we say about getting out of town first thing tommorrow huh?"
"Sounds good to me. We going to bed now or what?"
Skye rolled his eyes, "you can," he said quietly, moving to head outside.
Where's he going? He watched Skye leave, followed by Marco. Hesitantly, he lay down and managed to fall asleep.
Skye slipped outside, perching himself on top of a cluster of vents and leaning back to look up at the stars.
"Still nocturnal are we?" asiked Marco jokingly.
"Not like I can help it" said Skye, "It's in my blood"
Lucas continues being a sleepy boi.
