Kayden poked Lucy's cheek, trying to wake her.

She blinked awake groggily, sitting up slowly. "Hm?"

"I'm hungry," he whispered.

"What time is it?" She asked, stretching.

"Six.. i think…" he mumbled.

"M'kay, good, cause it's Monday." She said, standing. "Come one, lets go make something for ya."

"Okay!" He chirped.

She smiled, running a hand through her bed head. "To the kitchen!"

The little kid darted off.

She chuckled, following after him

John must be asleep still…

She paused, running back to poke John awake. "Come on, loser, Monday's here and we're making breakfast."

"Nooo…" he moaned sleepily. "I don't want tooo.."

"Food."

He opened an eye, "Pop tarts?"

"Sure." She said. "Now come on, we still have school, and I'm sure your brother does too."

John was wearing a short sleeve shirt. Around Lucy, he didn't feel like he needed to hide his scars.

"Come on, lets go." She said, grabbing his hand and pulling him out of bed.

"Woah," he laughed quietly, letting his friend drag him out of bed.
