Kayden giggled, and very gently pet the dog's head.

She smiled, heading to the cabinets to pull out some snacks.

"Careful, Kay," John smiled.

"John, we both know Nuncio's fineee"

"Fiiiiine," he echoed in a playful snicker. "Sure,"

"He is!" She said, playfully glaring

"He's fine," Kayden cooed, gently hugging the good pupper.

"Aw." John chuckled.

She smiled, holding some snacks in her arms. "Of course when my arms are full and I can't get my phone."

"I got it. Smile, Kaykay!" John spoke, whipping out his phone to capture the sweet moment.

She giggled, smiling at the scene

"Got it. Posting it," John grinned.

"Come on, I got snacks and stuff."

"Alrighty. Cmon, Kay," John sauntered towards his friend, little brother skipping along.

"Hay, Kay, have you ever seen 'The Neverending Story'?" She asked the boy ((Honestly loved that movie as a kid))

"No," Kayden replied curiouskly.

She grinned. "Get ready for the best movie ever, then!"

"Ooo!" He giggled. "Yay!!"

She smiled, Nuncio at her heels as she lead them to her room. "It's already on Netflix, seeing as I've watched it five billion times" ((Idk if it's actually on Netflix but whatever))

"Awesome," John replied with a happy smile. Here, he could relax. He didn't have to hide in a closet for safety. And he didnt have to force Kaykay to listen to loud music to preserve his innocence.

She nodded, a bit sadly.

"What?" Her friend asked, noticing her demeanor shift.

"Nothing. Let's just watch a movie"
